Vivien Leigh was just masterful in this film. One of the greatest actresses of all time, and the best of her day 🙏❤️
The first film I’ve seen with Marlon. He’s one of my biggest crushes of the Noir era such a great actor as well. Rest In Peace continuously Marlon Brando...♥️
I love how fucking relaxed he is here than doing a good impression of a cat. Yes, he is incredibly sexy here and all but I came here cuz I hear so much about how good he is in this film. Now I wanna see this whole movie
He's gorgeous and sexy. No one in 2015 can compare to this.
cbasallie You don't understand! I couldda had class! I couldda been a contenda! instead of a lousy bum, which is what I am!
cbasallie Really agree with you. But critics and audiences have been calling this actor named Tom Hardy (who's from England) as the new Brando..... I don't know if it's because he looks like him because......I CAN'T SEE THE RESEMBLENCE......or if they mean his acting skills. I have only seen two of his movies (1)Inception and (2)Lock and I can't agree with the masses unless I am just blind or deaf. But seriously, check him out and tell me what you think.
Maryanne G. Omg...I just googled some pictures and I actually do see a resemblance in the facial features . Especially the mouth. But he's not smiling in the pictures so it's hard to say.
I never saw him act. Also, I think his face is thinner.
I would definitely check out his movies though. He's cute.
Johanna Rose I agree w/you!!!
Johanna Rose i am one of those people who thinks no looks better then him but thing i cant say is that actors and models now of days arent good looking theres thousands of them who can go toe to toe in looks with guys from the old movies. You would be surprised at how gorgeous the models and actors of today are :)
I've seen this scene many times and I only just realised how at 0:38 he makes a remark about some of the alcohol being gone - he wasn't fooled by her even from the beginning.
good observation

Good observation. He know something was wrong with her from the beginning when he noticed she had been drinking.
@@ode4014 He said, "Liqours goes fast in a hot weather" indicating that he realized that she had been drinking.
I thought he just said it for nothing..wow!
Wow!!!! I had no idea Brando was so handsome in his youth. 😘😘
He was beyond handsome and was full of charisma.
This is a great film, and Marlon Brando is just irresistible when he imitates the cat : " meaoww" , at 1'55 !
He's not even my type, but my god Brando was born to be on screen. The charisma, the look... it's too much
Marlon Brando 😳 help 😭😭😭 perfection. I just died
I was watching an interview with The Godfather cast and Talia Shire comments how handsome Marlon Brando was then, I was curios to see how he looked younger , I found this video... and I got breathless 😳😳😳😳 He was GORGEOUS!!!!! 😍😍😍
What a screenplay, what a cast, what a movie!!! Legendary
I was born in the wrong era. It pains me that he's dead. There will never be a man like him ever again.
i know 😭
the 50s had the SEXIEST men of all time! guys nowadays dont even compare
Aijalon Halema Leilani Jesus is GOD You should be grateful you didn't born during 1940's like them..
Women are not as great as they used to be either....
Wtf makes you think you deserve better "night cat"
@@noemistephanie93 It's because men back then were actually real men. Not these feminized soyboys we have today.
Oh Elvis Presley wanted to look like Marlon Brando. He modeled himself after him. He sure did a good job. Marlon Brando was a master actor and soooo good looking.
Hell, yeah Marlon was SOOOO good-looking and handsome. And that body of his? Not bad, either. Hubba Hubba! And a damned fine actor, too!!!
Nothing beats Elvis in Jailhouse Rock the ultimate Rebel movie and Robert Mitchum in Thunder Road 2 coolest movies in the fifties
When I first saw Marlon here, I thought Elvis looked like him. And now I know why.
You were married once, weren't ya. You were married once, weren't ya. You were married once, weren't ya. You were married once, weren't ya. You were married once, weren't ya. You were married once, weren't ya. You were married once, weren't ya.
It's actaully kind of amazing watching the performances in this movie. You can really appreciate Brando's naturalism. It was truely a paradigm shift in acting.
Jeez he was so friggin gorgeous and handsome. 😍
DAMN Marlon was FINE!! LOOL when he scared her doing the cat voice :P
The man most handsome in the world! Hot like fire!
Marlon's type of sex appeal was ahead of it's time.
The way he chews that gum, drives me insane.
His acting is so organic I can almost smell him...
Everyone’s talking about Marlon but Vivien Leigh is awesome
Yeah..she was amazing.
He is the epitome of a spontaneous actor which = an AMAZING actor. I cant even think of someone close today. ..or ever.
Still can't believe Marlon was snubbed by the Oscar while other three actors, Vivien, Karl and Kim, won it!
He was the best in this film IMO.
Bogart had to turn in one of the greatest performances ever to beat him. I had long thought Bogart's performance was the best I had ever seen by a male actor..But I saw the movie again about 2 months ago and I thought it was just OK. The biggest scandal was that An American In Paris won best pix that year. A nice film, but come on!!!
Streetcar is still the best movie ever made
+Daviysoh I don't believe you. Surely you're mistaken? There's no way he could not win the Oscar on this. No way. And i found Vivien Leigh's performance in this way overdone and rather nauseating. Too histrionic for me.
+Mark Solomon Bogart always played Humphrey Bogart. Brando was always new.
+WindWipper I actually like Vivian's performance since the character she plays is over the top in every way. A drama queen with mental problems.
@@pellmell5790 I see your point.
I was born in the 90's but Marlon's bad boy appearance can still charm people at any age
Damn! I can't imagine an actor from nowadays with such sex appeal
He makes me melt.
