The fun you have is obvious and I like to see it. I love your approach. Looking at Casas' last game we can downgrade him from knife stab to a amateur MMA punch. Also, I think people, at least in the public, maybe not athletes, have forgotten the importance of visualization. Michael Jordan is most prominent in my mind as someone who claimed the most important part of his ability to perform was to visualize something before it happened before or even during a game.

I on the other hand like the pitch clock. At 66 I've sat through enough rs/yank game that went on endlessly. that I am very happy they came up with a way to not have endless games.

Triston choosing Ted Williams over "Big Papi" also indicates to me his true appreciation for the details and attention that is involved in consistently hitting a baseball with authority ... "The Splendid Splinter" wrote the book on "The Science of Hitting" ... Great interview ! ... Hopefully it's only a "matter of time" when you will also be welcomed at Fenway Park interviewing the other Red Sox players on a regular basis ...
That was a very good interview realistically it is unlikely he's going to be impactful right away but hopefully by September he'll be back to his normal self. The Sox desperately need him. Keep up the great work 👍

Good update, Corbin. It will be good to see him back at first base. Grissom's callup may be in trouble if Sogard can handle 2nd base. It may make sense to shut him down and focus on getting healthy for next year since we have options. Casas is another story. He is badly needed in the lineup.

I saw Casas play last night in Syracuse. Defensively he seemed fine. At the plate he got a hit. He looked ok swinging the bat. He should be fine to rejoin the team. Bobby Dalbac got a couple of big hits including a two run homer. But the pitching twice could not hold the lead. It was Bark in the Park night so we brought our Golden retriever Yaz to the game. We all had a great time.
Amazing approach to hitting. He is the difference between a early end of season and plating deep into October. Team Would be in first place with Casas and Story in lineup. Show him a photo of Al Hrabosky
He was talking about it a bit I guess it’s just sort of like breaking in the tissue that healed. There’s not much he can do for the pain besides work through it until it feels better

How do you keep O’Neal in the lineup? How do they get rid of Masataka?
I expect Tristan to be back within 10 days. but I do not expect to see him play everyday. I would guess 4 days a week and I do not think Alex Cora will not push him too much till the playoffs. I also expect he will start hitting slowly. Matyin will also be back next week. But they need to do something about the starting rotation. Good news is Hendricks will also be starting a rehab shortly too.
When he comes back I want him to be truly healthy. No need to rush back and risk further injury. Have any of your interviewees subscribed to Red Seat Radio?

Nice get - with the interview of Casas as a member of media (behind the camera) I know the leg work it takes to nail down any interview opportunity however while I know u don’t want to come off in the interview as offensive I think you missed an opportunity for him to clarify how he’s actually feeling as there certainly has been some inconsistency about his rehab as it was well laid out in the article by long time Sox beat reporter Sean McAdam he parlayed some inconsistencies there A devout fan as you are I’m sure you saw Quinn Priester stat line yesterday at AAA while it’s only one start it bears monitoring as it will certainly give us a true indication of CB player evaluation ability ??
