Louis Emilo Ocrevus is only available for RRMS in the UK and hasn’t been shown to halt progression in the same way that HSCT does. HSCT halts progression in the overwhelming majority in RRMS SPMS RPMS and PPMS as well as providing symptomatic relief in many too.

@@alison2219 Here's hoping you're still progression free 4 years later. For my PPMS Ocrevus (in Toronto) only exacerbated progression when I started in Jan 2023. I'm done with Ocrevus, washing out from it for HSCT in Mexico at Clinica this Sept 2023.

You’re very lucky! Unfortunately diet and lifestyle changes don’t work for everyone, and when MS reaches the progressive stage, it’s not possible to undo the permanent damage caused - HSCT halts progression in the overwhelming majority of people. It’s important to remember that for many people with MS, they will stay in the RRMS phase and not face serious disability - but for 80% of people they will be SPMS after 25 years - this suggests that 20% will not reach that phase. My husband focused on diet and lifestyle for 4 years before HSCT, but he still progressed. HSCT has completely halted his progression.

So where are all the 5-10 year. Post treatment ms patients.. this treatment isn’t approved by FDA.. & clinics need lab rats & test subjects.. 🤔🤔

I recognize at least one person here who's MS remains halted from HSCT close to 10 years later and his EDSS actually bettering.
The chin scratching emoji you used could be better used following the question why DMT producers aren't having head to head trials vs HSCT 🤔🤔?.... edit: numerous individuals on this vid is still actively testifying the success of HSCT on their MS.

@@ernietollar407 I think both sides are lacking.. the HSCT side not explaining the drawbacks to having chemo (you should take a look at) & the immune suppressive drugs that leave MS sufferers open to infections.. the way I see it.. those Dr’s now establishing the link between EBV & its continued presence in our bodies.. which as in the case of EBV is a pox virus.. will show itself every time we get highly stressed & run down.. )hence the relapsing stages of MS) ..
Secondary progressive being the aftermath of years of relapsing damage.. & progressive being the stress of coping with undiagnosed MS in older life.. seems like common sense to me & others..
the 2 latter forms will be highly reliant on emotional & financial support.. a sharing of the stresses if you like..🤔🤔😎
