Yeah the yellow pops, you need it too. Especially when testing it over your own AA. You kind of don't want an 88 round coming through the cockpit! 😂 Thanks for watching!!
Very beautifully made model. I get the impression that in the SkyMax line, HM does not make such deep panel lines. And in this model they even made rivets!!! As for the La-5, in my opinion, it is a very beautiful plane. Like most other Soviet and Russian planes. Maybe they are behind the Western ones, but they are really beautiful. And as always, great video review 👍
Yes I have been pleased with every SkyMax model I have opened so far. The aircraft itself is nice, although the soviets do cut corners when it comes to pilot comfort. You couldn't even open the canopy at certain speeds, fumes always entered the cockpit, there were 6 levers for engine control where the Fw 190 had just one that achieved the same thing. So imagine dogfigting under those conditions, haha
While I do prefer aircraft in the natural nations marking, I do find captured birds interesting. usually there is a little story behind each one of how it falls into the oppositions hands. Thanks for dropping past!!
Yes I always find the captured birds interesting as usually there's some little story behind it, not so much this one though. Thanks for checking out the video!!
HMD versus the "box Jaws of model death" HMD wins and the model is free at at last. One thing Corgi need to look at is the plug covering the stand hole for gear up. This aircraft has a pugnacious look mixed with some speedy lines.
Haha yeah this one didn't want to come out, thought it was a Corgi WW1 biplane for a second!! Yeah a stand hole cover is probably one thing that Corgi has never really cared about. At least Hobby Master and others give you covers 😂 just stick some blu tac in there and paint it to match 😂😂
@@heavymetaldiecast Blu Tack- the go to for all things diecast. Get yours today! and get it from under you finger nails too ( as of last week's P47 aerial escapade!)
Lovely model , love the yellow tail and underside on it

Gorgeous model 😮

@ I think I put the wrong emoji after that message, but you get the picture!!

Nice review of a nice model. Captured aircraft don't resonate with me, but they certainly add variety to a collection.
