Man, as a LSU fan I don’t like Lane because of getting his players to fake injuries to slow the game down. However, yall should not be wishing Lane goes anywhere. It’s because of Lane that Ole Miss has had success in the last few years. Who do you think will come to Ole Miss and keep up the success?
OleMiss fan here. Lane Kiffin got literally EVERYTHING he’s asked for ( 5th best NIL collective in the country, yearly raises, fan support and arguably the best coaching staff and the size and speed players he wanted ) . If we’re being honest, his previous teams lack of talent has masked Lane’s ability to coach in the big games. He’s exposed. I started the year not wanting Lane to leave for the FlorDump job , but now I’m convinced he just screwed himself out of a “ better “ job . I hope when he gets another offer this year , Keith Carter doesn’t match his offer .
Without Kiffin you will go back to being mostly irrelevant. He’s a good coach. I’d stick with him. It’s not as easy to find a coach as fan bases seem to think. It’s not just about enough money. Look how DeBoer has ruined the Bama Saban culture in just one off-season. And he was paid a lot of money.
@@jonathanm5661 I think Lane markets himself and the university better than anybody. I’m not saying he needs to be fired . I do think that he exposed himself this season and I’m not sure other teams are going to view him as “ the guy” anymore. As far as OleMiss goes, they’ll keep him around as long as he can win 9 or 10 games a year. But as an OleMiss fan, I can tell you he hurt himself with the fan buy in and it’s less about the loss as it is about the ownership of the loss ….
@@seannissen4316 emotions are always raw after a loss. If he wins out and goes 10-2 and makes the playoffs most Ole Miss fans and boosters will forget this one. And based on what I’ve seen out of GA and AL it’s at least possible for you to make that run. I think the raw emotions are mostly about unrealistic expectations. 1. Has Ole Miss won a NC in the last 50 years? No. The idea this was supposed to be some magical undefeated season because you loaded up on portal players was a bit much to expect. Hope for-yes. But expect? 2. If you look around there isn’t a dominant team in the SEC this year. You can take the top 6-8 teams and throw them in the air. Anyone can beat anyone. 3. How many night games in Tiger Stadium has Ole Miss won in the entire history of this rivalry? Not many. Kiffin is about as good of a HC as you are going to get. And I do believe he’s capable of making a run at some point at Ole Miss for an SEC and national title. But it’s not easy to climb that mountain. B Kelly is the most winningest active HC in the sport and he’s never won a title at the FBS level. He won one at the Div III level.

IF Ole Miss wins out they will be in the playoffs. And based on what I’ve seen out of GA and AL it’s possible. Maybe not likely but possible. This year the SEC is as balanced as I’ve ever seen it. Anyone can beat anyone.
Does Florida fans even want lane kiffin after what he has done with the talent that ole miss has this year? Has one of the best rosters in college football and is 5-2. Seems like the moment is to big for him and this isn’t Florida’s standard

@@ruffinoandjoeshow I watch the show a lot. I’m a really big Olemiss and I disagree with some of your takes. Great show though**** I know you think Olemiss is poverty but they gave him what he needed. Money… he literally got almost every player he wanted in the portal. Our playmakers aren’t getting the ball. He’s not calling plays good. Behind the scenes there are players like Jordan Watkins threatening to redshirt before the SC game. Out tight end Caden isn’t getting the ball and I commented on his wife’s post asking why he wasn’t getting the ball and I said I felt bad for him. She said “I too would love this answer” this is all on Lane. He has done great things here but it’s time to go. He can’t win the big games. I’d rather have expectations of 8-4 or 9-3 year and year out than get teased by him with this “last dance” bs. This was a complete failure. If you know anyone is the Olemiss media reach out to them and see what they say because it’s the truth. The fans aren’t gonna buy in an again. He spent so much money to be subpar and unsuccessful. You can’t lose to Kentucky. LSU is understandable but the play calling is on him. Gosh this season was such a joke…
