I've seen them twice in nine months, and they blew me away both times. Vocally, they sound even better live IMO, and their shows are a real theatrical performance. The audience participation is awesome too. At the last show, Michele waited outside and thanked the concert goers and offered selfies. I love this band for their music and the closeness they have with their fan base.
Thank You so much for checking them out They are great life, saw them in Aschaffenburg/Germany in April this Year. Founded in Austria they become a real European Band over the Years, Founder and Drummer (who is also the CEO of Napalm records) and the bassist are from Austria, the guitarist from the Czech republic, the singer is from Italy and the beautiful female soprano singer Clementine from France. After a lot of changes is this the actual line up for a while now and works fantastic together. Beside Nightwish they become very fast one off my favorite Bands. You May check out more of their songs "release my symphony" official life, "The deep and the dark" or "Legion of the Seas" Also beautiful but slower is "the last home" which I like so much and "Nothing last forever" Please dive in deeper in this Band which is in my opinion underrated an deserves much more attention. Thanx for doing one! VoA is my favorite band! They adopted the pirate theme with the release of the latest record, although they always had a sailor/wonderer theme... they just honed in on the pirate esthetic now. (And the Pirates album is my album of 2023 .. not a single dud on the whole album, but I'll admit I'm VERY biased .. ) They will be touring the US in September, so if you are looking for a great night out, that is a great show to attend. (They are also streaming most/all of their shows on Twitch, so even me in my Africa can enjoy them live)

Thanks for reviewing 👍. I saw them live earlier this year with Ye Banished Privateers (a troupe who sing gritty pirate songs - acoustic) and Xandria. They are terrific live. They are touring USA soon with Delain, I believe., who I also caught with Xandria. Clementine and Michele are dynamic on stage and the whole band are tight. Xandria are also a band you would enjoy checking out. Their new singer, Ambre, id a powerhouse!
Their live show is unreal. They have a full cinematic background for the entire show. It feels like a theater performance. I saw them on the Dragonforce tour at a relatively small venue. Then I went back to see them again another city on that tour, although Dragonforce was still the headliner. ;)
Clementine Delauney, the lead singer of VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, also sang lead duo with Georg Neuhauser on Austrian Historical Power Metal explorers' SERENITY album "War of Ages", arguably their strongest album. You should give a listen to songs like "Age of Glory" or "Legacy of Tudors", but really just anything off that album. It seemed a match made in heaven. However, SERENITY is Georg's baby, so Clementine sought wider horizons and ended up with VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, who have, incidentally, picked up the steam considerably with her joining, whoever of the male leads she sang with. Also arguably, none of SERENITY's later albums did reach that plateau of greatness since - although the newest one is QUITE close! But Clementine is a difference maker without a doubt, and doesn't she just make those videos beautiful by herself!
