FREE FOR NON PROFIT PLEASE CREDIT (Prod. NOTURMOOD) a lease must be purchased to be used for profit / monetization (streaming services, music videos etc.)
@@qpqiu that's really not what "free" means. if its free, it means that you can use it for non-profit or non-commercial use, for example like posting it on tiktok, because you can't be paid on tiktok or youtube for posting music there. but Spotify pays artists for posting their music there, therefore you must rightfully pay the beat owner if you wish to make money from it, because even the original beat owner isn't getting paid for posting on youtube, so how is that fair? make sense now?
@@chilloutpaul don't get me wrong, there are free 4 profit beats out there that u can find, but even as an underground artist, using sites like distrokid or tunecore publishes ur music on streaming platforms and you get paid anyways. literally research for 2 mins whether u have 1 listener or millions, as long as you're using for example spotify to publish your music, you're generating revenue 4 spotify, because if people like your music and the music is on spotify, ppl will use spotify to be able to listen to ur music, therefore generating income for spotify. bc of that spotify pays artists for posting music there.
Is there a difference between a license and a lease? Or are they the same thing when it comes to buying the right to use it for profit even for something not music related like promoting an item to sell on social media that was made?
@@YngHstlr yes but for me it causes me pain, because i'm sensible to light. So for people like me or even worse for epileptic people we cannot watch or keep the video for safety reasons.
