Then why are they cheering on laws that effectively hamstring doctors from giving the care the mother needs when she has a pregnancy emergency because they're afraid of getting prosecuted for performing any procedure that even *resembles* an abortion? Oh my. I've been watching this, becoming more and more disturbed, and then a face flashes by, someone that I know and like and just saw at the grocery store the other day, attending this conference and obviously loving it. I had to stop and back up to be sure of who I was seeing. Your point that we need to work on bridging this divide just came home to me, and I'm pondering how to open the conversation with her.
I think sometimes people like the woman at the grocery store are not yet ready to build that bridge. I am not a Christian, but I agree we all need to find some common ground or it will be bad for everyone. That does not mean I have to submit to being dehumanized. Love under will is the Law. Sometimes I have to remind myself that it's love that matters in the end, not the red herrings masquerading as real issues. Until a person that wants to broker a peace is willing to admit I am equally human, we have nothing to speak about.
@user-gz2hf3iy3 I understand. I also saw someone I knew when watching a PBS Frontline documentary. The documentary was about Russian collaborator Michael Flynn's movement recruiting an "Army of God" for Christian Nationalism. The person I recognized was my sister. She's completely bought into the cult and I haven't seen her since, nor will I have anything to do with her. There is no common ground - there is no rationalizing with her. The last text I received from her was warning everyone that the world was going to end at a certain date a few years ago, which came and went. Not everyone can be saved from these people.
I've heard you talk about dehumanization eventually leading to violence more times than I can remember, and yet it still impacts me every single time and reminds me to humanize everybody and treat them with respect, especially those I disagree with. It's become a theme in my life lately. Thank you for the challenge ❤️
Yeah, once they cross over to full blown delusion and magical thinking it's too late for a conversation. "You can't talk rationally to crazy" is something I've said a lot these last few years. The thought is nice, but in reality just trying to talk someone out of a cult is practically impossible. We know this because people have spent entire careers observing people in cults and out what does and doesn't work. In the real world something has to happen personally to the cult member that breaks the illusion. At that point you can talk, but before that you're screaming into a void and wasting your time.
I fully agree. It allows those of us who are on the other side to actually hear what you are saying. When someone starts off with dehumanizing language the whole conversation ends.
Especially the ones who advocate for killing we who don't agree with them. I wonder how many people throughout history have been tied to the burning pole saying "at least we didn't say bad things about our murderers".
I really appreciate you encouraging not otherizing the people who disagree with us and showing us that these people are humans with similar problems as us. God bless you!
Yup. Isn't it disgusting that ANYONE in the richest county on the planet goes hungry ever? Or that ANYONE in the richest country on the planet dies from preventable because they can't afford to stay alive? I hate living here. The policies of the USA are barbaric and we have the unmitigated gall to act like we're the best thing ever.
I remember that someone said, ‘the Christian religion sets people up to believe anything’ and no truer words have been spoken! Over my 83 yrs coming from that Evangelical background…I sat in church as a child and the preacher always made it clear that it was ‘those people out side that church that was the problem’ all this deprecation (it was us too) caused me to separate from my true nature and that caused me to won’t to destroy myself in my middle years.
You seem to have an interesting perspective. I agree, and would add that any religion that insists upon a rigid set of beliefs that can never be questioned sets people up to be generally unreasonable. But, I think it may be possible to create a version of any religion that focuses more on personal development that can be healthy, and even good for society. Unfortunately, so many of us humans are concerned with being right about everything and lack humility about our beliefs and their foundations. I’d be interested in hearing more from you if you feel like it.

@@sjd1446 thank you…I agree, there may not be a way around the ‘divisiveness’ that religion creates (and it may be the cause of the lack of cohesion in politics, as some are trying to govern from their religious doctrines)…not being able to be ‘part of’ our people, because our views are not approved of by someone’s religion is hurtful. Amazing how TNE found those parallel recordings! Excellent job! Also, every time I watch a video on Christians gone wild, I feel I have to remind people that Jesus said you will know them by their love. The inference is don't decide a certain group is Christian just because they "say" they are.
Thanks for the hard work. I always appreciate how you refuse to resort to dehumanization. It definitely calls me to a deeper love for people and is certainly not an easy road.
Sad to watch large portions of American christians fall for the lie that this movement is doing the will of God. The gospel is lost to them or at least utterly changed. Instead of the gospel being the good news that when our rejection of god was complete and total as we crucified him-in that very moment God accepted us fully as his own in love. Instead, that original gospel has been mutilated to imitate the power structures of empires and kings. 😢
You wrote "original gospel has been mutilated to imitate the power structures of empires and kings." That has always been the case throughout history. The bible you hold in your hands has been mutilated and changed to fit the desires of the powerful in each period it has existed. It's purpose is to control the minds of the masses.
I find this so scarily ironic - there is literally a ‘gold’ statue of trump ?!?! How is THAT not, ‘biblically’ - idolatry!!?? Man talk about disconnect…
Charlie’s description of the “high T, alpha, well armed male” is why they were all ok w accepting and defending Andrew Tate. They value power (really the appearance of power) over all else. It’s so repulsive.
Jesus warned that you would know the antichrist because he would 'come in his own name', not the name of his father in heaven, as Jesus did. His name would be his 'brand', known worldwide. And that his followers would be deceived, because they 'love the lie' telling themselves he is Christian, even though he is a 'vile, boastful, man who throws truth to the ground. The Man of Lawlessness' who would one day be released from having to follow the law... somehow. That like Solomon he would love gold and surround himself with it (666 talents of Gold). And he would 'appear to' suffer a deadly wound to the head, in a public space, but be healed.

@@manuelrichardson6943 apparently you didn’t see jan 6 or anything about the nationalist movement…. @@manuelrichardson6943 I cheered when Trump was elected! But his 4 years in office woke me up to his lies. And conservatism itself has been radicalised. I see what you did there 😊. I'm guessing it hits quite differently when the son of God says it. But let's not forget that the most vicious fights often happen between brothers. My best friend is a very conservative catholic. He's against LGBTQ, against abortion, all of the usual talking points. We disagree in many things but we certainly still have more things we both believe when compared to, let's say an atheist. So in the end I think Christians must find a common ground. No matter which denomination and no matter which end of the political spectrum. I don't agree with any political spectrum in fact. Politics is a corrupt business. Here in Germany, the left is too far left, the right is too far right and the middle is certainly far from "proposing Christian values". If we keep up the infighting, no matter if it's here in Europe or in the US, we'll end up doing more harm than good to Christianity as a whole and I got a feeling we might still need it somewhere down the line.

I do wish that commentators would stop referring to these people as 'Conservatives'... it is an entirely incorrect and inappropriate label for them. 'Conservatism' has a meaning in the English language and it refers to a general social, cultural, and/or political outlook, and to a specific political ideology which is not represented in the views and policies expressed by these White Christian Nationalists. In political terms, Conservatism is a vague, but still coherent, ideology that holds (broadly speaking) that if change is needed it should be gradual and organic and should come about due to general agreement and consent and in response to economic, social, or technological developments over a period of time. Conservatism is often used as cover for simple reactionary opposition to all change, and also as a euphemism for maintaining the existing imbalance of economic and political power for the benefit of those who already have it. It can also be argued that, in an age of rapid changes imposed by technology and the pressing demands of economic and demographic developments, then such gradualism is simply impractical. Nonetheless, Conservatism does have a long and well-established record and deserves to be taken seriously. The people at this event are NOT 'Conservatives' by any reasonable definition, except perhaps the euphemistic cover term for simple reactionaries... but these people are more than just reactionaries because they are actively trying to roll back the changes of the last fifty years and to impose (by force and threats and extra-Constitutional means) a New Order on the whole of US society - in that sense they are revolutionaries (a term which some of them fully embrace, apparently oblivious to the contradiction). More appropriate labels for these people would include 'Fascists' (or perhaps 'Clerical Fascists' if you wanted to be more specific), 'Christian Dominionists', 'Authoritarian Bigots', or 'Far-Right Militants' - and the term 'Militant' is very apt due to the vitriolic rhetoric and the constant and repeated use of threats and intimidation and calls for violence that echo through these events. Turning Point USA is one of a number of overlapping, fascistic, hate-groups in the USA that have now incorporated large swathes of the so-called Conservative Christian Evangelical Movement into their ranks, and until this is fully recognised then no analysis can fully convey the imminent danger that your (flawed) democracy and your Constitutional Republic is now in.
@@denisemayosky1955 - I appreciate a compliment as much as anyone but I don't think anything I wrote would imply that I adhere to a conservative political ideology myself. Don't worry, they won't. You just need to find a New Testament church that is adherering to the scriptures. And read the bible for yourself. Jesus is constant. These people are the ones straying from the truth.
Please note that everyone who claims to be a Christian is not one. The tenet of scripture teaches/reveals what it is to be a child of God. The word "Christian" seems to be overly used, perhaps because most people think it sounds good. I am reminded that it is better to obey than to sacrifice. Our sacrifice should be to God never to man.

You do not need to be smart to build a successful big company, you need money, charisma, and luck. You can have people under you that are smarter that run the things you can't. A lot of success, and I might say most, is sheer luck and bluff. Saying someone has an influential big company does not convince me someone is not dumb. Sure, maybe they are, but especially that type of company doesn't seem like it specifically *requires* high intelligence.
Thank you. You have done an excellent job. I'm really impressed and hope this video gets a lot of views. THANK YOU FOR THIS. While much of what is going on appears confusing in many ways, I really wonder if it isn't actually simpler than folks realize or want to admit. I would like to suggest that anyone who has lived long enough or has been willing to study deeply enough the rise and fall of dictatorships, and authoritarian regimes, can see ALL the classic signs, as well as a lot of new versions of old tricks. This is a movement taking religion, politics and social issues....and doing the same with each, to bring on a greater agenda.....through very clever manipulation. All of these issues have been twisted, convoluted and lied about in a way to manipulate. And it works. This is not a new phenomena. ....just the present version. Anyone who uses any sort of actual critical listening and thinking, can see the same twisted message...whether it's in a church or a political rally. It's become a message of divide and conquer. Play on peoples fears and weaknesses....target the "other" ... and a constant degrading and name calling. Pervasive hate speech and constantly pounding on about the "lack" and the negative, yet twist the actual reasons and offer little to no actual solution. ...... other than to turn to our "leader" who will fix it all for you. The "how" it will be fixed gets left out of the narrative on any actual practical level. Smoke and mirrors. Always give a certain amount of truth, and then run with it over the cliff. Just consider....this is indeed an old song coming from a very well worn play book. This is something that didn't begin in recent years. It started a very long time ago. It's not a secret or something hidden away....these movements creep in slowly over decades. hidden in plain sight, as it were. And as such, people ignore it. But like a slow virus, eventually it's out of control. This is basically a new, improved version of Nazism on steroids. But it seems few are willing to admit that, even still . But it can't be disputed that history repeats itself. We are now going through one more round, just with a new backdrop, and at this moment, it's not looking good. At least, not to me. And, yes, ...NONE of this is what Jesus taught or exemplified. Even scriptures are now regularly twisted and pulled out of context in the Churches....to match any message the "leader" wants it to convey. . And folks don't even bother to go back to their Bibles and check !!!!! So , no wonder , fact checking for anything else isn't done either.....just follow whatever the leader says. Looking at actual data, statistics and verifiable facts isn't done.....forget it. And people are indoctrinated into thinking they cannot trust ANY information outside of this bubble they are in. And the narrative just keeps getting more and more outrageous. And those who are leading, just keep pushing it further and further, as the lemmings follow..... This movement has these good intentioned but mind numbed people in their hands like putty. And the results are only too clear....if there isn't some way to wake folks up. I very much respect and appreciate your channel for stepping forward and speaking out. I do apologize for this comment as it is way too long. I'll just say, lastly, as far as Christianity goes, the one verse that loudly comes to mind at the moment is, "..Jesus wept."

Tim I salute you brother. I'm shaking with outrage and heartbreak listening to these people. I don't know how you can put yourself in their midst and listen. I truly commend you and confess I am no longer in a place where I can abide such upside down anti-Christ like rhetoric. They call evil good and good evil. They have distorted and profaned the witness of Christ and we must pay attention and stand loudly against this heresy. I have studied scripture and followed my Lord Jesus for 45 yrs. and firmly believe hardened hearts through disdain for the "other" have left too many ripe for deception. And though most throughout the country who nod along and applaud stuff like this deserve to be treated with patience and grace, others like Bannon and Flynn are chaos agents with very dark, twisted agendas. I fear we are in for some very troubling times ahead.
These are PEOPLE, but they are foolishly following those who take advantage of their frustrations and concerns to further their own selfish agenda. I won't demonize them, but I can see that there are diabolical forces at work behind the scenes in the spirit realm using these people as dupes. They need prayer. They're our family, friends and neighbors, but they're majorly deceived!!

You all on the left are the ones ginning up violence for those on the conservative side......this guy humanizing?! Sounds like Karl Marx dog whistle to me......🤢🤮
I believe strongly that we should have a more Christian Nation. now what would that look like politically? I believe that would look like the Scandinavian countries. We should love our neighbor, seek the building up of each others communities by consensus, stand for the poor and oppressed, we should seek out public policy that benefits all (which the Bible can help with influence when read right). My view is probably influenced by my ELCA upbringing.
Anyone who believes they need to enshrine their religion into law is a faithless unbeliever. They don't trust or believe in the power of God or their own religion. And this hall is full of the people who have been sent a 'strong delusion' because they love the lies so much.
Having grown up in the Fox News, conservative, evangelical world, I know from personal experience that most evangelicals worship the "God of the Bible", with Jesus somewhere on the side. Really they are worshiping the Bible, and Jesus is just playing a role in God's larger story. I continued being an evangelical well into my adult life, and only really stepping away from a lot of that within the past year. So a lot of this is fresh in my mind. One of my biggest pet peeves through my adult life has been that the churches heavily focused on Paul and the Old Testament, and not enough on Jesus. After moving away from evangelicalism, and reading a lot of theology and scholarship, I know now it's because of Justification Theory. Evangelicals, like John MacArthur, John Piper, etc., are heavily invested in Justification Theory. The role Jesus plays there is pretty much only as a "sacrificial atonement" to an angry and wrathful God. So Jesus' actual teachings are second place to his death. They think that God will just come and save all of them from this "sinful world" because of Jesus' sacrifice. Any transformation after salvation just "stores up treasures in heaven", so an actual transformation is not really guaranteed, it's just an added benefit to being saved. (Although they would definitely question if you have been saved if you haven't "transformed" in the way they think you should) I have much more of an appreciation for Paul's writings after throwing out Justification Theory. As Christians, we need to ask ourselves what role does Christ play? If he's just there as a sacrifice, then something is missing. That's why you hardly hear about Jesus in these sorts of conservative events, and when you do it's a totally different Jesus than the one in the Bible.
Oh no. My friend, Jesus is the God of the Old Testament. The LORD Jehovah is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 3 in one all throughout the Bible. For instance, Jesus (a theophany) visited Abraham in Genesis 18, and decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus (God) called down the fire that destroyed those cities. The will of the Father, the Som, and the Spirit are the same, they are of one divine perfect will, they are One (Duet 6) For instance, did the Father, the Son, or the Spirit lead the Israelites out of Egypt? Yes! The Spirit (Hebrews) and the Son (Jude). Atonement Theory is true, it is in fact a main point preached in Peter’s first sermons in Acts 2-4. Jesus died for our sins, Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! If you believe that Jesus was just a good moral teacher, but dint believe He was the Lamb of God (atoning sacrifice), or Conquering King, or the One Way to the Father, or God Himself, then you should go back and read Jesus words. Just start with Matthew and read thru John. Even just Matthew will include Jesus explaining all these things about Himself. If yiu think He only taught earthly morals but wasnt the Messiah then you must believe He is a liar, and why would you think a liar is a good moral teacher? He is the Lord, and He died as a ransom for many. Hallelujah! God bless you
So many so-called "Christians" have drug Jesus' name through the mud: the Catholic inquisitors who tortured and burned people at the stake; the warriors on both sides of the "Civil" War who murdered their own brothers; all we who have accepted God's grace for our sins, but turned and condemned our fellows for their sins; every single person who's credited God with their victories in fleshly fights... So the Secular atheist globalist woke agenda is not a cult ?
Share this video with her, perhaps
Update? Did you find common ground?
@user-gz2hf3iy3 I understand. I also saw someone I knew when watching a PBS Frontline documentary. The documentary was about Russian collaborator Michael Flynn's movement recruiting an "Army of God" for Christian Nationalism. The person I recognized was my sister. She's completely bought into the cult and I haven't seen her since, nor will I have anything to do with her. There is no common ground - there is no rationalizing with her. The last text I received from her was warning everyone that the world was going to end at a certain date a few years ago, which came and went. Not everyone can be saved from these people.
You could try. But don't be disheartened if you can't. God said he is sending them that 'strong delusion' because they love the lies.
I've heard you talk about dehumanization eventually leading to violence more times than I can remember, and yet it still impacts me every single time and reminds me to humanize everybody and treat them with respect, especially those I disagree with. It's become a theme in my life lately. Thank you for the challenge ❤️
Conversation will never get us anywhere with nazis.
The right are not nazis. But like Mark Twain said....History doesn't repeat....but it often rhymes.
I love the integrity you demonstrate by not dehumanizing people and taking the time attend the conference and sincerely engage with people.
🙏🙏🙏
I fully agree. It allows those of us who are on the other side to actually hear what you are saying.
When someone starts off with dehumanizing language the whole conversation ends.
Especially the ones who advocate for killing we who don't agree with them. I wonder how many people throughout history have been tied to the burning pole saying "at least we didn't say bad things about our murderers".

God gave us free. Will. No government and no religion and no cult should tell us what to do.
@@manuelrichardson6943 I cheered when Trump was elected! But his 4 years in office woke me up to his lies. And conservatism itself has been radicalised. Is calling people a brood of vipers too dehumanizing?

Well, thank you for being one of the decent, reasonable "conservatives". Nice to know you guys are out there!!😊

You do not need to be smart to build a successful big company, you need money, charisma, and luck. You can have people under you that are smarter that run the things you can't. While much of what is going on appears confusing in many ways, I really wonder if it isn't actually
simpler than folks realize or want to admit.
I would like to suggest that anyone who has lived long enough or has been willing to study deeply enough
the rise and fall of dictatorships, and authoritarian regimes, can see ALL the classic signs, as well as a
lot of new versions of old tricks.
This is a movement taking religion, politics and social issues....and doing the same with each, to
bring on a greater agenda.....through very clever manipulation.
All of these issues have been twisted, convoluted and lied about in a way
to manipulate.
It started a very long time
ago.
Even scriptures are now regularly twisted
and pulled out of context in the Churches....to match any message the "leader" wants it to convey. . And folks don't even bother to go back to their Bibles and check !!!!! So , no wonder , fact checking for anything else isn't done either.....just
follow whatever the leader says. Looking at actual data, statistics and verifiable facts isn't done.....forget it.
And people are indoctrinated into thinking they cannot trust ANY information outside of this bubble they are in.
And the narrative just keeps getting more and more outrageous. And those who are leading, just keep pushing it
further and further, as the lemmings follow.....
This movement has these good intentioned but mind numbed people in their hands like putty. And the results
are only too clear....if there isn't some way to wake folks up. I very much respect and appreciate your channel

@@TheNewEvangelicalsyes, and you suck!
Very informative. Congrats! My respect and greetings from Austria.
The will of the Father, the Som, and the Spirit are the same, they are of one divine perfect will, they are One (Duet 6)
For instance, did the Father, the Son, or the Spirit lead the Israelites out of Egypt?
Hallelujah! God bless you
Very thoughtful and well said
All this people are like the pharisees from Jesus time
So many so-called "Christians" have drug Jesus' name through the mud: the Catholic inquisitors who tortured and burned people at the stake; the warriors on both sides of the "Civil" War who murdered their own brothers; all we who have accepted God's grace for our sins, but turned and condemned our fellows for their sins; every single person who's credited God with their victories in fleshly fights... Check out the song I believe was inspired for just such a time as this, called "(Christians) We've Been Hypocrites"! And may God grant us repentance from all our hypocrisy!
"For false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect". (Mark 13:22) I'm not religious but I just had to throw that out there.
This is important work dude good stuff
Imagine a drinking game every time Steve Brannon says “they”
Always up vote anyone with a funko pop in the background!😂
It's so scary to see 😢
Yeah. I dont have a political or religious home anymore. I grew up in the southern Baptist church. Yes there were very clear teachings, homosexuality is a sin, abortion is a sin, and the like. But now we have this. This Christian nationalism thing. I guess they hold to the same ideas as they used, as I mentioned, but also are exceedingly vulgar in their speech, don’t display any humility, worship a false god in Trump, believe CRAZY conspiracy theories, and on and on. Don’t get me wrong, I still consider myself a conservative Christian but this stuff is crazy. And , as I said, I have no home.
Our real life version of Idiocracy being documented right in front of us.
This reminds me that defeating trump is only one crucial victory in a larger struggle. This goes deep. Most Americans never hear of TPUSA.
I love your evaluation
If allegedly gave man free will, then why are these christian fundamentalists telling people what to do regardless of whether one chooses not to follow the word of god.
