Hi Jim - So if I can understand you right you’re talking about uploading videos you’ve created on your phone to TH-cam. I would wait for each video to be fully processed before uploading the next one if you want them to be in order. Different file sizes take a different amount of time to fully processed on TH-cams end. So there’s a possibility that a smaller file could process and complete before a larger file has had time to even though it was uploaded afterwards. Not 100% sure if that’s correct, but if your vids aren’t in the order you want them then it’s worth a try… 🖖

I’ve not had the opportunity to use the Mini 3, just the Mini 3 pro. But on paper I would say that the flip is ahead based on some of the camera and shooting mode upgrades and the O4 transmission. On the down side, the flip only has forward sensing obstacle avoidance and can’t shoot true 4k vertical video (not an issue for me!). But overall, if you don’t need the Vlogging type modes then I think I would say the Mini 3 just about comes out on top. As you can see from my self contradictory answer - it’s very close between them! 🤣 perhaps consider the Mini 4K?🖖
@ I’m in the states. According to the DJI Store my M4P never left their warehouse but when I placed the Flip order I received notice via UPS that it left Hong Kong within hours. Regarding max wind resistance and top speed figures, when I used to hack my phantoms and mavic pros (ahem!), the parameter you were looking for to change was the max_tilt angle. This basically determines the maximum speed and wind resistance. EG: If the drone tilts its maximum at 15 degrees and that produces a horizontal speed of 30mph, then DJI will knock a few mph off the wind resistance figure, in order to account for margin of error by a few mph. Andy! thanks so much for watching! Yeh It's kindof a 'your mileage may vary' scenario - there's also a max tilt angle setting in the Expo settings of the RC2 that I'm going to have a play with - but with a tail wind - that flip really does shift!. Cheers brother! All the best 🖖
Great video Amok! If you are worried about using "penetration" in your commentary, you could always substitute something else, for example "Pon Farr". So do you think that the Flip will be an immediate replacement for your Neo?
Thankyou matey! I could change it to Pon Farr, but then I would only be able to fly my drone every 7 years (and only touch the controller with 2 fingers 🤣) Don't think it'll replace my Neo - that's just too much fun and way more portable. @@amoktimeflies Yes, I hadn't thought of the 7 years between flights angle. I don't think there will be any firmware updates to fix the active track from front and sides. Neo has same problem since 4 months it's not solved yet. Same thing is gonna happen with Flip as well.

Nobby! - it is an honour to be left a comment by your good self - thankyou Sir!. Whilst I was testing, the wind was getting fairly strong - as you could see I was in quite an exposed area and I didn't suffer any significant problems (but maybe that was just the honeymoon period!). One thing that I did notice in the edit was that if I stuck it in D-LOG M whilst using the controller, switching to autonomous mode left it in D-LOG M which I thought was kindof weird - more testing to be done I think... All the best brother! 🖖
@@amoktimeflies there’s always a tendency to get videos out quickly with new drones. One of the reasons I get to know it a little better before I post a full review. My first was simply first impressions. I will be doing my next with features and a summary ☺️ keep doing what you do 👍
Still love my Neo for it’s versatility and vfm, I’d buy the Mini 4 PRO for serious video and photos when I win the lottery😉don’t really understand this one given the weird pricing, I have the RC N-3 so I’d want to buy it as a stand alone, which you can’t😡.
Thanks for watching Ian - yeh it's is in a bit of a weird price isn't it? Love my Neo for a bit of fun, Mini 4 Pro for great footage Air 3 for battery power and wind resistance.... Still not entirely sure where this sits other than being an upgrade from the Neo... 🖖
Yeh - I think it’s probably for people that have never owned a drone before. If you’ve already got one you don’t need this, unless upgrading from a Neo, a very old model of DJI Mini or another brand.🖖
Actually Goggles N3 makes more sense since this is the spiritual upgrade for the Neo, which supports it as does the Avata 2. The Mini 4 Pros supports the Goggles 3, so the idea would be M4P and up = premium and Flip and below = affordable. That being said, why not support both like the Avata 2? I have an M4P but I can't use the Goggles 3 because of my vision (alignment issues which means I can't use contacts and a prescription for lenses is around $450 a set, which is almost the same price as the goggles or the drone) - so the N3 was a huge plus since it can be used with glasses (what IS it with VR goggle makers not designing for the majority of users - 68% of all Americans, for example, need corrective lenses and a significant number of them can't use contacts or require prisms?)
Yeh - have to say, if I didn’t run a drone channel I probably wouldn’t have bought it as the Neo and Mini 4 Pro cover all my needs… Thanks for watching and your support Johnny!🖖
About the Brazilian legislation : There's a piece of regulation called MCA 56-2 that state that the maximum altitude is 40m for urban areas and 50m for rural areas - rural areas can be higher if everyone where the fly will happen is warned. The 120m limit is for aero club air spaces
I'm not sure what they classify it as. I was surprised that it wasn't equipped with RID as well, because being allowed to fly over people without a waiver would have been awesome! Great video as always!@amoktimeflies
I think it's classed as 'ultra light recreational' and therefore doesn't require RID, but I need to do more research on that! Have blurred the bit with the FAA classification in the vid for now anyway to avoid confusion - Thanks again for the heads up Kyle! 👍👍👍🖖
@amoktimeflies "ultra light recreational" means it doesn't need to be registered but with no RID it can't be classified as class 1, therfore not allowed to fly over people without an FAA waiver. This is how I understand it, although the FAA loves to make things clear as mud.😂
hi there i fancied a neo but my old mobile aint on djis list i jumped ship from hubsan so got a mini4 with the rc2 saved getting a new phone also the flip looksflimsey could be a bugger to repair and its over priced happy flying ps to convert ce to fe just double it and add 30
Yeh - probs not for anyone that's already got a DJI drone, but anyone switching from something like Holy Stone or if they've not had a drone before would probably like it - or of course if upgrading from the Neo... 🖖
Or like me you can’t stop buying what ever DJI puts out 🫣, it slots in for me as a follow me drone without a controller, I’ve found it ok for what it is , I’m keeping my neo for fpv and MAVIC 3 pro is tops for every thing else ( until MAVIC 4 comes out and I know I’ll buy that )😂
When dji tells you 10.7 m/s. Do you know, that means it's the auto return speed to be able to get back to yourself and anything over that speed. Your going to struggle getting the drone back to yourself. I don't fly any of my drones over 10 m/s 😊
Thanks again, for the review. Your Neo reviews helped me buy a Neo and while earlier reviews before yours kept me from buying a Flip, your review reinforces my choice. And is better than the average review. No FPV was a deal breaker. I am intriuged by one Englishman who flies through forests with his Neo. I have some old growth Savanah Oak groves along the gorge of the Mississippi RIver 5 minutes from my house I'd like to explore. I already have the N3 Goggles and motion detector. I did order the RCN3 controller, for when people are around when I fly the Neo (I fly solo with no spotter.) I have an Autel Nano+ that does everything the Neo is weak at. Excellent in low light. Comparable to the DJI mini 4 pro I am now waiting for the Neo2/Neo+. Could you do more videos on your software and how you prepare your videos for TH-cam? Thanks! Lee in Minneapolis
Thanks Lee - Minneapolis! The home of the purple genius! I wish they'd change the laws on flying FPV without a spotter here as I'd be able to get out more in that mode, but alas no... I suspect there may be a Neo Pro / Neo+ late Summer or Early Autumn - they've got plenty of spare weight to play with! Thanks for watching and your comments! 🖖

Thanks Ian! Mavic 4 Pro is out of my league. Once the channel actually starts making a profit I might think about it... (ROI projection is currently 2033) Cheers buddy! 🖖
@ the day will come when DJI send you one to test , I’m rooting for you 👍👍
Yeh - you still have to pay for them tho and have to sign NDAs... (I'm sure you probably get a discount though)... 🖖
@ oh I thought they were freebies, for those who had many subscribers 🫣 nothing is free in life then ! I’ve just got the headset for neo , learning curve ahead 🤣
Freewell are very good to me - and I'm not saying that because they send me filters to review - their stuff is genuinely good, otherwise I wouldn't recommend them. I have had offers from other companies and their products would just waste your time and mine.... 🖖
Im finding a few problems with it in my testing. It aint that good in the wind at all. Numerous other too. Nice review 👍
@@amoktimeflies No Problem credit wheres it due! 👍
D LOG-M is in the phone app settings duh! 😂You went the right way - as you say - slow and steady!🖖
@@amoktimeflies there’s always a tendency to get videos out quickly with new drones. One of the reasons I get to know it a little better before I post a full review. My first was simply first impressions. I will be doing my next with features and a summary ☺️ keep doing what you do 👍
T.U.R.D that made me blow beer out my nose 🤣🤣🤣
You've not heard that highly technical term before? Not surprising as I totally made it up 🤣. Thanks for watching buddy - all the best 🖖
@@amoktimeflies most entertaining drone channel on the U choob you never fails to cheer me up 😀
Still love my Neo for it’s versatility and vfm, I’d buy the Mini 4 PRO for serious video and photos when I win the lottery😉don’t really understand this one given the weird pricing, I have the RC N-3 so I’d want to buy it as a stand alone, which you can’t😡.
Watched most of the reviews on this now and so far seem mostly against! Not for me think this could be one of dji flops!👌👊🖖
Yeh - I think it’s probably for people that have never owned a drone before. If you’ve already got one you don’t need this, unless upgrading from a Neo, a very old model of DJI Mini or another brand.🖖
I don't think it is aimed at US market as it doesn't have Remote ID.
Does it not? I thought all of the latest DJI drones had it now... You live and learn... Thanks for letting me know... 🖖
Neo supports Goggles 3 and N3, so why not both like the Neo? Thanks for watching! 🖖
its defo not my cuppa but I'm sure dpi will fix †he charging issue also or just rip that page out the manual lol
I shall leave that for my other Brasilian friend to comment on, but very interesting - Thankyou! 🖖
It's actually not classified as a Class 1 drone with the FAA because it doesn't have RID. 😊
Ah, OK - I (obviously incorrectly) thought all recent DJI drones had RID - Thanks for the heads up! Which class is it then? Cheers 🖖
Yeh - just like our CAA over here - they very often can contradict themselves even within the same sentence! 🤣🖖
More comedy droning for myself 😊
Cheers Gary! Thanks for watching! 🖖
hi there i fancied a neo but my old mobile aint on djis list i jumped ship from hubsan so got a mini4 with the rc2 saved getting a new phone also the flip looksflimsey could be a bugger to repair and its over priced happy flying ps to convert ce to fe just double it and add 30
Thanks buddy! - Really? is that all it is? Double it and add 30? WHY HAS NO-ONE TOLD ME THAT UP TILL NOW???? 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching and the tip! 🖖
I'll not be getting one of these. Ian in London tested one the other day. It's crap 😂😂
Yeh - probs not for anyone that's already got a DJI drone, but anyone switching from something like Holy Stone or if they've not had a drone before would probably like it - or of course if upgrading from the Neo... 🖖
Or like me you can’t stop buying what ever DJI puts out 🫣, it slots in for me as a follow me drone without a controller, I’ve found it ok for what it is , I’m keeping my neo for fpv and MAVIC 3 pro is tops for every thing else ( until MAVIC 4 comes out and I know I’ll buy that )😂
You wouldn't think he had been flying for a couple of years now 😂.
Cheeky! 🤣🤣🖖
When dji tells you 10.7 m/s. Do you know, that means it's the auto return speed to be able to get back to yourself and anything over that speed. Your going to struggle getting the drone back to yourself. I don't fly any of my drones over 10 m/s 😊
Yeh - that's a really good point. It's actually surprising how strong a 10 m/s wind is as well! 🖖
I did order the RCN3 controller, for when people are around when I fly the Neo (I fly solo with no spotter.)
I have an Autel Nano+ that does everything the Neo is weak at. Excellent in low light. Comparable to the DJI mini 4 pro
I am now waiting for the Neo2/Neo+.
I miss the ultrasonic sensors of the Phantoms 🥺
Before my time mate - as you've probably worked out I wasn't allowed drones until I got divorced 😂👍🖖
@@amoktimeflies I AM allowed them and I'm heading that way 🤣🤣
😂🖖
@@amoktimeflies I've already had the "You've got to sell one before buying another" talk
I do that to myself and always end up ignoring me... 😂🖖
