To those who say the speedy is a "basic" bag. To them I say I will always choose the speedy over a classic flap or birkin.
It's the perfect bag for me. It's fits all the stuff I like to take with me like a hair brush and sunglasses case, it's timeless, it goes with everything I wear and it's carefree. It's made to be used and worn daily 🤎

Thanks David 🙏🏻 with Louis I always think about functionality. When it comes to Chanel, most functionality is thrown out the window but with LV I never forget that they are a travel brand and that their bags are made to be durable and practical so I always look at that factor when deciding which bag to buy next from them. 💖
Absolutely! The main reason I started my luxury collection was the travel aspect! I picked up the district pm satchel when I was in Paris and it worked so perfectly for my camera setup and the zipper pouch on the backside can easily store a passport and plane ticket! I’m def having my camera with me at all times on the plane with me so it was a godsend! Never knew I needed it till I saw it in person.
Just love your LV bag collection!! Timeless classic peices are the way to go. It stands the test of time and virtually indestructible if you take care of them. Love your videos Dacob!

I love your collection especially the cherries 🍒 I also have a speedy 30, speedy 25, vintage MM backpack, key cles, vintage coin purse but my all time favourite every day piece is my POCHETTE ACCESSORIES. I put a gold chain on it so it’s a cross body. I just love how much it fits and it goes with everything. ❤

I love seeing mature women carrying well loved and much used 'Speedy's. Slouchy and everyday. Looks so cool. I saw it a lot in France where they don't 'baby' their LV's and they don't carry them as status symbols - just bags.

Favourite of yours is the multicolour cosmetics case and I know it’s not traditional but I loved that collection so much yet couldn’t indulge, because I had very small children and was travelling a lot then. Your latest, the noe, is my fave of your traditional monogrammed bags. I have a Montsouris BB with black leather trim and was lucky enough to be able to buy Dayle’s Tambourin bag from her with the vachetta trim. Like my children, I cannot choose a favourite monogram bag, love them both.
The multicolor days were one of Louis’ best. Murakami did the brand a world of good in my opinion. 💖💖💖 the modern LV styles are not for me at all.

Quick question, your speedy 35, is it a thinner canvas than your other items? Because I bought my mom a speedy 35 in 2008 and it was so thin that it got a hole in it within a year and that’s when I kind of gave up LV for a while, but I find that all their other canvas materials are thicker and better quality. Is that the case with your speedy?
Great question. So my speedy 35 from 2023 has a sturdy thick canvas. Not as thick as the keepall canvas from my keepall 50. But also its a bit thicker than the canvas on my speedy 30 from 2021. So I do see an evolution of the canvas from year to year. I guess maybe it all depends from which year the batch is from and where it was manufactured.

I would always recommend the monogram speedy. In fact, I got one. Stains come with the territory. They are a part of the product long term.

I purchased both mono and DE Speedy, but sold the mono. DE is carefree.

You can always protect the vachetta with apple guard to prevent staining.

The monogram is beautiful, I wish they still did multicolor or came up with a navy, the color brown, alas, does not suit me.
They do the eclipse monogram which is grey and a navy based black which looks very navy to me but it comes with silver hardware.

My take away in some regards is that LV was better in the past. *sigh* Ah well, I am kind of done with luxe fashion after my fiasco with BAAL (👿) . I am just not in the right tax bracket for this game.
Vintage LV is awesome too and the prices are much better second hand so if you enjoy more the older quality of LV then its a win win 💖💖💖
