"Atenție, se închid uşile" just like I remember from 13th to 15th February 2006 when I visited Bucharest. The M4 was still using the original rolling stock but M2 was using something similar to the Stockholm Tunnelbana.

Yeah, the Bombardier BM2/BM21 units, which were literally derived from the Stockholm's C20 trains, using the same design language and the exact same power system from Bombardier's (formerly ADtranz) works in Västeras.

@@MetroCheck Well... for the future we should have the new Alstom sets for line M5 and hopefully lines M4 and M6 complete.

Sehr schön - und noch eine Stadt im Portfolio. Sieht zwar alles recht heruntergekommen aus, aber zumindest sind die Züge relativ neu. Es gibt ja auch noch ältere, in Rumänien gebaute Fahrzeuge des Typs Astra, die wohl aber nur noch als HVZ-Verstärker fahren.

Danke! Das ist jetzt vielleicht nicht gerade der Vorzeigebahnhof für Bukarest - es sind schon auch moderne Bahnhöfe dabei, vor allem auf den Linien M5 und M4.
Ich habe gerade mein Material durchgesehen, auf der Linie M4 habe ich auch Astra-Züge erwischt - die sind übrigens alle komplett mit Graffiti übersprüht...

Die Astra-Züge sehen wohl seit Jahren so aus. Da wird wohl nichts mehr entfernt.

Line 5 doesn't run to the airport - I think this is planned for the future line M6.

@@MetroCheck Exactly, M6 is the one that will link downtown Bucharest with its two airports.
