yo can we all just talk about how beautiful the lineart and shading are in this game?! the line weight and sense of shape in the sketch cutscene is extremely high quality
Right?? The art in this game is really nice, the sketches, coloring, and background. I really like that kind of style of coloring that was used for the character drawings.
They definitely don’t make it clear, unless the dark monsters find performing ‘good deeds’ particularly exciting and funny in a good way. Because only they seem to properly seek her out.
@@pyrrhusofepirus8491 They're like the ghost version of Hewie, Dewie and Louie's boy scouts, they have a set number of good deeds to do each day, and are just *really* scrambling to tally them up :P
I've checked out the true ending (kinda, you actually have to play through the game three times to figure things out. Long story short, the first time is Manly's playthrough. The second time Lumi realizes she's looping, doubts if she actually killed her friends, and the cat saves her from being devoured by the shadow, enabling her to escape out of the hospital. However, Lumi realizes in shock that she still reawakes in the hospital. For the third and final time, Lumi clears everything and becomes certain that she did NOT kill her friends after all, and her suspicions were confirmed when she finally made it to the final room and find NO bodies there. It was just her inner demon haunting herself. She exits the hospital normally and without being pursued this time, and awakes... ... to find herself still in the same hospital, except this time she's waking up from a hospital bed, and the ghosts of the hospital were outside the door staring at her. Judging from the clues that are collected throughout the game, Lumi actually jumped off the roof of the abandoned hospital to kill herself. It's not exactly clear if she lived or died, but it's likely she survived the fall. The most direct evidence is the ghost doctor saying that she needed surgical tools for an operation and made Lumi search for it. She most likely was operating on Lumi's comatose body, which is one hell of a twist of irony. Anyway, in the true ending Lumi wakes up in the hospital for real this time, but is still stuck in the abandoned hospital and the ghosts are definitely still around. She probably doesn't need to play hide and seek anymore though now that she's truly awakened, and she's freed from her own inner demon. She even made some ghost friends, so I think it's a happy ending overall.
@@ihaveshitonmyhead9821 She certainly didn't think that was the case XD but yeah, that's how I choose to interpret it anyway. Otherwise why bother giving her space and watching her from the doors instead of the truly spooky "you wake up to all the ghosts who've haunted you right next to your bed"?
Yeah that's right, i never know these game if manly never play and upload it, thx to him, now i know a lot of games that fun and interesting. Especially about his video about Purgatory, i love that game so much, i swear if manly never upload it, i wont never know about that game.

Props to the character artists/animators, I geniunely couldn't take my eyes off the twitching boy and the puppet girl while he was talking to them. I don't know what exactly about their movement cycles is so interesting to my eye, but it's hypnotizing.
@@marclenraymagdaraog691 I liked your comment, but it's not enough. That horned ghost looks so awesome that I would love it as the protag of some other game. Just clean up the blood, but keep those freaky yet cool eyes. Artstyle in this is just amazing. I'm binging a lot of Manly's videos that I missed, perhaps to celebrate. I think I now know how to enjoy these sorta games, as opposed to before when I decided to stop watching. Now I just look to the artistry, ideas, and atmosphere, rather than getting really sucked in and miserable. (although this game is especially miserable) It's only Death Palette in this binge that legit made me feel like crap for a couple of days. Damn that credits scene... I'm stronger than ever though! More importantly - I'm having fun.
Interesting game, though I feel really bad for Lumi (although murder is bad, kids. Don't murder). She was routinely bullied by her classmates, and now she's stuck in a haunted hospital limbo whatever for maybe forever. :(
Apparently if you beat hard mode, you find out that she didn't actually kill them, and that she is indeed in a loop. The final ending is her waking up in the same hospital, but out of the loop. I think the other kids are alive, but she just tried to kill herself and ended being tormented by her own broken mind while comatose. I'm pretty sure she just makes friends with all the ghosts in the end, and it's kinda bitter-sweet.
This game has great style. If nothing else, you could mark the lockers with the candles, for quick recognition. There are two things I feel strongly about: infinite kitties and hugging Lumi. And why are people always terrified of crying ghost babies? I just want to cuddle them.
If the ghost baby had pitch black eyes and everytime i go near him he teleported away then continue to cry and play with my nerves i would call the ghost buster
Yeah, I think it's called Super Deformed, although that could just be my experience with SD Snatcher. (And yes, my name is a reference to that game. :D)
My aunt told me that in Korean schools during her time, people would sell chicks for super cheap to children (I had a feeling it was a Korean game based off art style and that part basically solidified it for me lol), but they were usually the ones which were born weak and would die very soon. She told me that she had a feeling this was the case at the time, but still spent money on them determined to raise one.

I think there's a good ending to get if you can figure out how to get the 8th item you need. But I think I understand why you don't want to do it again because it's that kind of game where you have to beat it several times to get something different.
I reckon it does. Someone on the Steam forums said it has 3 rounds- presumably easy for normal ending, normal for good ending(?), and hard for true ending EDIT: it's not a multiple endings game! apparently more details are revealed as you play through the modes. The missing 8th I.D. may have something to do with this. if Manly doesn't get the other endings (if it does have one), this'll probably be the 2nd game he hasn't done all endings (understandably)
An ID found next to a pool of blood? That would've been my first if not only reason to nope right on out. Unless I came prepared with a bunch of protective charms, salt, and sage.
this is my interpretation of the ending cause it was so sad. dam i wonder if lumi was a ghost all along? after taking her frustration out and the guilt of those actions resulted was her jumping off the abandoned hospital cause of the whole climbing floors and technically 4th floor would be the roof, coincidence? Her last moments are the monster absorbing her but it's really her own blood she's actually dying and regretting that she's dying. she kinda believes she deserves this because she murdered her peers so her mind helps her to coop by having her spawn back in the hospital locked up.
I really like the game but I feel like there's a lot of unanswered questions; 1) Why did her "friends" have it out for her that badly. 2) The story behind some notes are left hanging. 3) What is the untold story between Ralph and Lumi. 4) The ghosts and their stories. 5) There's a lot of cues hinting of "reek" and "deserving it" around Lumi, what's that about?
In general, I feel like the story is a bit of a mess, unless playing on higher difficulty reveals vital information. I mean, the story is that a girl got bullied and killed the bullies. How does that turn into "infinitely trapped in a spooky hospital full of completely unrelated ghosts"? The album did imply that she was doing things at the hospital after being brought there, but the information from that album also doesn't seem to fit together very well, like, for example, it mentions that she no longer got bullied after playing with chickens. Also, how on earth does a single unarmed girl single handedly torture an entire hospital to death in a manner so brutal that everyone turns into vengeful spirits, yet none of the spirit's implied backstories seem to involve the protagonist? The story honestly feels a bit like one of those really good AI generated stories. What I mean is that it managed to put in effective individual aspects that make sense in a horror story, but it doesn't really neatly tie together into a coherent whole.
@@Louigi36 i don’t thing the girl who kil the duck is the same as the protag. She is drawn with two pigtail in the note and she is more likely to be the black spirit. But i really believe there is sole key information in the hard mod. The cat is strangely insistant in convicting her that thing won’t change if she keep doing nothing and react pretty badly when she say the opposite
According to a comment that scoped all the endings, there's definitely a lot of things not shown in the first one that implies that she didn't murder them but instead attempted suicide herself and a lot of these side quests are related to her stay in the hospital subtly.
Some bullies just have it out for you for no reason. They prey on the weak and vulnerable. Take it from someone who has had this severe level of bullying. They don’t need a reason. They were bullies and became her “friends”.
"Oh look another drink ! Let's try that soda. Surely one of them must be safe and good. One nearly killed us. One DID kill us. Wonder what this one's gonna do." I love how Manly can just say these things.
How humans find out what's edible and what's not, essentially. "This one makes you sleep for a few days, this one made Jared see Jesus, and this one killed Tom. I wonder what this one does?"
The item spawn bug was unfortunate, but presumably that's either been addressed by now or will be fixed in a patch. The story is solid, it works well for the horror genre. The actual ghost designs are excellent, everything looks nice and creepy here. Pacing seemed kind of rough throughout the game, and that was without the confirmation from Manly about how much he edited out. Still, I do think this game succeeded in being entertaining and I'm eager to see what the developers do next.
I almost started crying after the first monster encounter from laughing so hard because when it was banging against the locker it sounded like the noise objects make when they glitch into the ground and start jittering in GMod...god that was funny
Uh, before hitting the second loop, I noticed that the credits shows one image we didn't see in your playthrough, the very last one, Lumi and the cat on a rooftop. I assume she does end up escaping, at least in some capacity.
So in terms of story, Lumi was bullied by assholes, Lumi murders assholes, trapped in Hell or Limbo or whatever. Basically just a simple misery, serviceable, no one wins story, unless it somehow changes in the other difficulties or whatever with her getting out somehow. Basically this isn’t much of a story game, and that may sound mean but it’s just how I see it. This doesn’t have any Witch’s House level twist.
Well based off the diary entries picked up and based off what her bullies said about her I would assume she was already crazy and was probably doing psycho like shit that seemed normal to her and not much of a big deal. They then bullied her because of it. It’s pretty obvious that she’s in a time loop to pay for the crimes of killing her classmates.
@@DoveyTheWriter I believe that was related to the laughing ghost, as all 3 rooms had there own stories relating to the introduced ghosts. Unless all 3 are part of her somehow, but i doubt it - the writing, style, etc change.
@@DoveyTheWriter so basically she had mental issues, wasn’t properly treated for it or simply couldn’t be treated for it, got sent back to school for some reason instead of being incarcerated. Got bullied for her mental issues, because that’s sadly how it often goes, and due to her mental instability combined with her horrible bullying, killed the bullies. And now she has to pay for the crimes she committed that wasn’t really her fault. That seems kinda unfair but that’s just me.
This was honestly kinda difficult, seeing protag being bullied. If anyone is watching this and is being bullied, please let someone trusted or someone who you think would help, know about your situation. You are not alone and do not deserve this unacceptable behaviour. ♥️
One of my fears is literally messaging people asking for help or warning about something only to get sarcastic Lol responses and I end up dying because of it
Wow, some of the seiyuus they recruited are actually really famous. The Cat's VA (Ise Mariya) has done many roles, including Killua from HxH (that's where I recognized her from), Reg from Made In Abyss, Nagisa from Danganronpa UDG, Mika from Durarara, Stocking from Panty & Stocking... and many others. Did not dub QB from Madoka, although for a second I was in doubt too and double-checked. And in general all the VAs did a great job imho. I loved the game too: the story was interesting, the artwork was great (although the chibi artstyle is too dollish for my taste) and the horror/gore actually really really creepy, well done. The noises and gurgles and laughs were amazing, and the various game mechanics were nice. Loved the variety of enemies too and the different ways to deal with them, and especially loved that every enemy has their "how I became like this" hinted through the drawings.
1:07:27 That cat DOES sound like Kyubey!! I was thinking I heard that kind of voice before and it dawned on me when Manly said it. I checked, but it seems they are different voice actors. But still, they got very good VA for this game.
YES ! EXACTLY ! Goddamnit, I read so many stories about bullying and everytime I'm like "Yo, are you sure whatever enjoyment you're getting out of this is worth risking your life ? Because yes, that can happen, trust me".
That's murderer, plain and simple. Don't care if you were bullied, you're a murderer. The bullies got to die which is better in my opinion than being stuck in prison for a long time.
@@redtortoise People can't afford luxurious concept named "morality" when "survival" is at stake. Deny it all you want, it's the same everyone and everywhere.
I've really enjoyed watching this video under my blanket and being soothes over by your voices every time scary things pop up... awesome video as always manly
I am convinced that Manly is a computer re arranging a very long old tape to make commentary on horror games that his creator is digging up from his basement. I don't have any other way to explain this
The game looks great, but man, the story is just misery all around... Lumi def isn't innocent, but I don't think she deserves to be tortured like this forever. Like with Ralph, it seemed like an attack out of desperation, rather than sadism. Apparently all notes can't be read without replaying 3 times, which is a shame, so we may be missing something, but even with what we've been shown, it's just very... sad. Honestly, if she hadn't killed them, I imagine she may of killed herself, though I'm guessing from the last credit pic, she had killed herself after killing the bullies. Bullies that bad are absolute scum and deserve punishment, but murder is too much. Unfortunately, the system often turns a blind eye unless someone is suing, and parents may not help either. Doing something drastic is usually a result of wanting a sense of control over something when everything in life is against you. So basically most bullies get away scot free and nicely live the rest of their life while they often leave behind years of emotional damage. :')
@@Stellaiseditingandgetsnosleep Basically lol. It's easier for them to just tell the victim to stop being bothered by it than to call in the bullies and actually do something about it. I was harassed in a class by some guys every day to the point where I couldn't even focus on my work (and worse is they also loved using the mosquito sound to repeatedly overstim me because adults have a hard time hearing certain notes, so they just made me seem crazy) When I finally tried to go get help, all the teacher did was call in my dad and tell him that -I- was overreacting and how -I- should change rather than even talking to the bullies once. At least my dad also thought that was fucked, but in the end, I just had to fucking put up with shitstains. And no, talking calmly to them to stop did jackshit. It made it worse. Same with telling them angrily to stop after.
I see this as one of those games that mirror what actually happens in reality in some places. Murder is definitely too much but also wasn't surprising. It's like watching water boil. You put an open fire below your kettle and it will heat up and boil the water inside. Just like Lumi who probably was already different was pushed to the edge. It doesn't mean murder here is justified but it is also not as simple as murder bad. It's the "responsible adults" that failed all of them in my opinion. A bit of teasing here and these doesn't hurt and could possibly deepen some friendships, but the case here was way beyond that.
Honestly I prefer a different end for those bullies. An ending where it was really a scare game in the haunted hospital, the bullies confront her there and Lumi runs away, bullies give chase but lose sight of her as shes able to exit the hospital not looking back and as the bullies try to leave the ghost keeps them there and seal the hospital and we end the game with newspaper adds of "Missing children"
It seems like the hospital in this game is a kind of prison for kids who went and murdered people. On each floor there'd be a story which would be parallel to the ghosts you meet. The duck kid, and the story of the girl with the chicks, then the second floor had the story of the puppet girl hiding in the locker and the boy's toy. The third floor's ghost with devil girl, I'd say she looks burnt, but I'm really assuming. Each floor would have the "Murderer" and one of their "victims". You can tell which ghost was the murderer because the story was pretty heavy on the "One eye" motif throughout. Lumi gets revealed at the end to be a murderer, and when the demon comes to catch her, Lumi's eye gets covered. The cat's probably in charge of this place, judging these kids and deciding whether or not he'll keep the kid's spirit here. Tho there's probably more to the story, like who did the cat mean that he was mistaken Lumi for someone else? Or was that supposed to be a sarcastic comment? Cat probably really hates Lumi's guts, cus you don't kill six classmates by accident. So basically Lumi gets sent to ghost prison for murdering all of her bullies and has to repeat this torment as punishment. I dunno what the other endings are like, so I'm really just theorizing here.
lumi did nothing wrong. like really, she actually didn't. additional playthroughs give additional context to the story. lumi didn't actually kill anyone,
Are ya talking about the rpgmaker version or the PSP one? 'cuz if it's the letter, I particularly miss hearing the voiced lines of the guilt-doll for the first time *shudder*
.... googly eyes ETA: The monster is so dorky-looking. :) Dangly arms and googly eyes. It's kinda cute. ETA2: Protag is really cute. "Ah, a ghost!" and then proceeds to talk to them politely and do favors for them. :)
Absolutely agree on the Corpse Party X Yomawari vibes, and i love it! Also something about the character art and the way the violence is drawn reminds me of Higurashi no naku koro ni ("when they cry"). Man I need to rewatch that absolut nutcase of an anime :D
I hope to see a good ending soon that pic with her sitting with the cat in the moonlight shows me there's salvation for her so I guess I'll go with that... for now...
13:00 alright, either that thing killed all her “friends” and is using their phones to mock her, or this girl has the worst friend group known to man Edit: seems I was right about both
I think that cat voice actress is also the same person who voiced Ose the cat and demon lord in queen's blade white triangle. You may know them as Rika from Higurashi When They Cry.
I kinda wouldn't blame her for killing them. I used to be in a situation with bullying and such. But I got help, sadly Lumi didn't. But nonetheless a great game and story! 🐈
Manly, please replay through the game 2 more times. It reveals much more and makes a lot more sense. It loops back to the beginning for a reason. Anyway, the game seems pretty good. I really liked the story, art and the voicing. I feel like there's some things that could have been done a little better, maybe I'll have to buy the game and play through it myself to make a proper opinion. Not sure when that's going to happen though.
Ok I've seen the other 2 ending and I'll probably try to explain it for those who are still confused. Probably want to skip this cuz it was long as f. This game is 90% showing lumi's subconscious. Which means this is partly correct but also partly false Now her subconscious cover a lot of things. Basicly, almost everything in the game itself is part of her subconscious. There's a lot of things we can see like the traumas, hospital and even the cat & demon. I'll explain this into different points. First of all, lets talk about *the hospital* itself. The entire time, the hospital was a broken, creepy and bloody abandoned hospital. But inside the true ending scene, we saw that lumi is inside a very nice hospital with a fully functioning medical support (With extra ghosts). Now this hospital is the depiction of lumi's mental state where it was so broken to the point it looks like it has been abandoned. 2nd, About *the spirits.* Now there's 2 kind of spirit here, the real one is the one you saw on the door at true ending, also they're wondering around the hospital inside her subconscious space, now the price to pay for peeking onto other people's subconscious is for them to be able to also peek onto hers. This explains why lumi see's the drawings and diaries in her subconsciousness, because the ghost are peeking onto hers, leaving their memories open for her. But unlike other people, she decided to take a good look at those diaries, and this is the reason they gathered in front of her room when she wake up on true ending taking interests on her. 3rd, her *traumas* Now the 2nd type of spirit is the fake ones. Rather than fake, I'd like to refer these ghosts as "Trauma". As if you realize, These "traumas" would always be there on every loop even though they have been relieved before. That's because these were made by lumi's subconscious. The reason I called them "trauma" is because that if you realize, these spirits are somehow connected to her Traumatic memories. For example, 1. Like the time they locked her in a locker, which is red locker with loud noises 2. The doll ritual that appears on top of a desk like how the bullies writings appear on her desks out of nowhere 3. The toilet ghosts who wants all toilet to be opened, just like the time mf poured bucket of water on her inside a toilet. 4. Surgeon tools for her surgeon. Yes. there's quite a few more and Its all somehow connected made from her past traumas. 4th, about the bullies To make it clear, she did not kill them. The reason we saw their corpse is probably because of her subconsciousness trying to relieve her stress, which it just causes even more stress. And when human brains are trying to memorize something, there's going to be this short moments that are missing, and our brain are designed to fill in those blanks either by creating false ones or fusing ones from different memories. Which is what happened to lumi on our 1st run, she saw herself killing ralph because she blatantly believe she did, out of guilt, anger and fear, the brain tries to fill out her blank memories by making false ones leading to the brain making fake memories where she looks like she killed them. She accepts that memories blatantly, because she hates them so much, thinking it was possible she actually did it out of hatred. This changes later as she decided to accept her painful memories and forgive the others. Which on the 2nd run, she starts to doubt, tho she have seen the scene twice. We also see the texts starts to get blurry and distorted and her fake memory where she killed her friends did not appear once again, this shows that her brain accepts her condition and did not try to fill her blank memories anymore. On the 3rd run, the demon and the corpse didn't even appear, nor did she run away. Tt shows that she's fully forgiven them and accepts the fact that even tho they've bullied her, she did not seek revenge anymore. She's just tired and she just wants to live a peaceful life, finally deciding she'll face her problems instead of escaping which is why the cat said she's changed a lot. 5, The cat & the Demon Now I think that the cat is her own subconscious trying to protect her while the demon is her guilt, inability and fear. Now it explains why it was always there but only appears later in the game as she regains her self awareness. Also explains why it abandoned her on our 1st run, as the depiction of her feeling guilty for killing her friends. She thought she didn't deserve to be saved. Tho she didn't want to, she was defeated by her negative thoughts. But on 2nd run she starts to forgive and love herself more, she's more open to the cat and refuse to just blatantly believe the scene in front of her even tho she knew she has seen it before, that's why the cat protects her, because she's starting to grow, standing for herself. Now on our 3rd run, the demon didn't even show up and the body disappears. Meaning all her guilt, fear and negative feelings were thrown out the window.. She accepts her mental state, not caring about other issues. 6. The true ending. Now like I said, She did not die. The reason why she saw the spirits in front of her hospital door is because she has seen them before, specifically in her subconscious mind when they were peeking through her memories. She gained the ability to see them, and they gathered because she knew their pasts. Its also possible that she almost died inside the locker on that last memory shown rather than suicide, which explains the "red locker" with "weird noises".
At first, I felt like the expression were a bit overreacted but then I just realized she's probably is very young so it's matching. The artstyle also just grow on me the longer I watched.

Such a sad item. As someone who was bullied, it is really difficult to fully overcome. I still recognize ways the effects have reverberated through time, and it makes my heart sink that some of us have to work through these "handicaps" in life.
The voice acting is spot on! I was not expecting some casts of "Luminous Witches" (a Strike Witches idol spin-off) was doing the voice overs! They are Tsuzuki Sayaka, Narumi Mai, Mamiya Ryou, Hosokawa Minako and Kotosaka Miu. Very nice touch! As for Nomizu Iori, she's well known in Date A Live series, voicing Yoshino and Ise Mariya also known voicing Killua from HxH. Thank you for covering this game, Manly. Enjoyed the playthrough so far~
Apparently there are minor dialogue changes in each playthrough, along with a different ending for each difficulty. Wish Manly was doing all the endings, cause most likely I'll never see the others...

She even made some ghost friends, so I think it's a happy ending overall.
thanks!

Apparently if you beat hard mode, you find out that she didn't actually kill them, and that she is indeed in a loop. The final ending is her waking up in the same hospital, but out of the loop. @@viennasavage9110 ??? is this a personal interpretation or actual canon?
@@TeasilaNova "It's revealed in the end"... Bro can you read?
I really like the game but I feel like there's a lot of unanswered questions;
1) Why did her "friends" have it out for her that badly.
@@Prudester That's interesting, but why would you lock such critical plot points behind New Game+ basically ?

"This one makes you sleep for a few days, this one made Jared see Jesus, and this one killed Tom. I wonder what this one does?"
The art style in this game is really nice :D
The item spawn bug was unfortunate, but presumably that's either been addressed by now or will be fixed in a patch. The story is solid, it works well for the horror genre. The actual ghost designs are excellent, everything looks nice and creepy here. Pacing seemed kind of rough throughout the game, and that was without the confirmation from Manly about how much he edited out. Still, I do think this game succeeded in being entertaining and I'm eager to see what the developers do next.

It’d make more sense if it didn’t leave us in the dark. Like if it explained how or why she’s trapped in the loop.
However I would like to know how she got trapped in the loop if she killed them and wasn’t killed herself.

I loved the game too: the story was interesting, the artwork was great (although the chibi artstyle is too dollish for my taste) and the horror/gore actually really really creepy, well done. The noises and gurgles and laughs were amazing, and the various game mechanics were nice. I am convinced that Manly is a computer re arranging a very long old tape to make commentary on horror games that his creator is digging up from his basement. I don't have any other way to explain this
Hence why he often reuses “like my soul”
Basically school teachers in a nutshell when you are bullied
@@Stellaiseditingandgetsnosleep Basically lol. It's easier for them to just tell the victim to stop being bothered by it than to call in the bullies and actually do something about it.
I was harassed in a class by some guys every day to the point where I couldn't even focus on my work (and worse is they also loved using the mosquito sound to repeatedly overstim me because adults have a hard time hearing certain notes, so they just made me seem crazy)
When I finally tried to go get help, all the teacher did was call in my dad and tell him that -I- was overreacting and how -I- should change rather than even talking to the bullies once. At least my dad also thought that was fucked, but in the end, I just had to fucking put up with shitstains.
And no, talking calmly to them to stop did jackshit. It made it worse. Same with telling them angrily to stop after.

Apparently hard mode shows that she didn't kill her friends, and tried to kill herself instead.

The art and animation in this is amazing! I love how expressive it is! This was no cheap effort what so ever!
I can't, I applaud how brave this girl is that the first thing she thought to do with bottled liquids in an abandoned hospital is to drink them.

I feel like there's some things that could have been done a little better, maybe I'll have to buy the game and play through it myself to make a proper opinion. Not sure when that's going to happen though.
_An abandoned hospital?_
I'm in. At least there is no friendship forever promise or different dimensions... Or ghouls. Or demons or anything scary. :D
Ok I've seen the other 2 ending and I'll probably try to explain it for those who are still confused. Probably want to skip this cuz it was long as f.
This game is 90% showing lumi's subconscious. Which means this is partly correct but also partly false
Now her subconscious cover a lot of things.
2nd, About *the spirits.*
Now there's 2 kind of spirit here, the real one is the one you saw on the door at true ending, also they're wondering around the hospital inside her subconscious space, now the price to pay for peeking onto other people's subconscious is for them to be able to also peek onto hers.
3rd, her *traumas*
Now the 2nd type of spirit is the fake ones.
For example,
1. Like the time they locked her in a locker, which is red locker with loud noises
2. The doll ritual that appears on top of a desk like how the bullies writings appear on her desks out of nowhere
3. The toilet ghosts who wants all toilet to be opened, just like the time mf poured bucket of water on her inside a toilet.
4. Surgeon tools for her surgeon. Yes.
there's quite a few more and Its all somehow connected made from her past traumas.
4th, about the bullies
To make it clear, she did not kill them.
5, The cat & the Demon
Now I think that the cat is her own subconscious trying to protect her while the demon is her guilt, inability and fear.
I really like the art in this game. Also, poor Lumi. 🥺💛
11:47 with that sound effect I can’t help but imagine the thing landing punches on Lumi.
I like how he says "MAYBE A SIP WON'T HURT" and immediately goes to aggressively click the Drink button
25:32 Manly gets hit: OH GO- *growling noises*
I love the art style of this!
At first, I felt like the expression were a bit overreacted but then I just realized she's probably is very young so it's matching.
The artstyle also just grow on me the longer I watched.
The game is pretty good, but holy hell is the MCs expression bizarre as fu
Manly: it is curious that they locked the difficulties behind beating the game over and over
Me: YA HEAR THAT, CODE VEIN????
Just started watching the video. I am at the point where the wasd keys were just explained with a lil bit of story. That scared face. That scared face is the true horror.
Thank you for reading.
I just downloaded this you are always one step ahead of my obscure horror gaming
I’m either trapped in a hospital forever or I end up trapped in crippling debt because I was trapped in a hospital. How can I enjoy myself
Lol
I love the fact that manly had tons of candles but didn't use most of them xd
25:32 HELP THE SOUND HE MAKES HXJHSJDHD
Lumi: (gets in locker)
Demon: (Bangs on locker) 🎶Doot doot doodle doodle doo doo!!🎶
Apparently there are minor dialogue changes in each playthrough, along with a different ending for each difficulty.
Wish Manly was doing all the endings, cause most likely I'll never see the others...
I'm just enraptured by the voice acting, the art style, the way characters move! Who ever made the game-
Amazing job, well done :> Thanks for playing, Manly.
Just started watching but the art is already hella cute
Today is a day I'm glad that I was so weird, the bullies mostly left me alone. That and also being denser than a brick, so some of the name-calling completely went over my head.
