You joke, but my wife did use her CB500F as an adventure bike for 40,000 miles so it's not as far fetched as it might sound! I enjoyed the video quite a bit just knowing the places we took hers! She always got some really strange looks from people on proper ADV bikes. No issues with the radiator or the fork seals but she broke lots of other things. Much cheaper to fix than my GS. i.imgur.com/q40Mn0m.jpg i.imgur.com/b7AYNz6.jpg i.imgur.com/2f04ALg.jpg th-cam.com/video/vVV_q1lJFuU/w-d-xo.html I helped her out a bit here: th-cam.com/video/TuF-u0OWOcU/w-d-xo.html
I have used my new bike, a CB500F, for a bit of off road and didn't have issues so far (gravel, wet gravel mud roads, sand) thought I would need another bike to do such things, I love my bike and this video gives me hope that Im not that crazy! Thinking to change the tires to handle the gravel and such more safely, any opinions ? What about not being able to turn off ABS ? Any other modifications that can be helpful ? Thank you!
Nice job. Not for me, I have enough trouble navigating the unexpected dirt/gravel parking lots on my cb500f. Where'd you link to this? This tab was just open on my computer, can't remember where I clicked from...
Hey! As you can see in some of the other comments here, some people are successful in using these bikes off road. You will break something on every bike you take off road. What you break and how many times will depend on your skill level and how much protection you add to the bike.

Thanks. That was lots of fun.
Honda sells these as adventure bikes, their literally built for this.
Any bike in an adventure bike if you go somewhere interesting!
When we getting another glove review on those revit sand 3s?
Maybe soon. Lets just say they worked well in a crash on this same bike (RIP). I really need to stop crashing.
What if it had 50/50 tires new suspension and some sort of radiator guard then it would be a pretty good offroad bike right well I'm just guessing
It could work but you may as well get a cb500x lol
@@MotoCampAdventure Yea but those got higher seat height, but a F that could go offroad a little bit for the short people could be good
Maybe replacing the forks would be too expensive but search on TH-cam for "Boken Scrambler" he made some offroad type changes for the 500F
Nice music on the intro

You may have seen it either in the bay area riders group facebook page, or from the ADV Rider post. Thanks for watching!
