APETITAN is an absolute banger, but I think Before Lights Out might be the better version for him to listen to first. The vocals are just too great to miss.
Hiroyuki sawano has so many tracks that are just straight up songs. They're are bangers ofc, as always. This singer is mpi. Sawano often works with him, Benjamin, Laco, Mika Hayashi, and Gemi. I highly recommend you listen to more sawano tracks beyond just Attack on titan.

Back at it again! Sawano’s tracks are just hits that I listen to on a regular day. There are other songs that aren’t AOT exclusive which are just as amazing! Sawano isn’t afraid to experiment and it pays off in the end.
Just like his inspiration hans Zimmer, sawano likes rock quite a lot, you can hear a lot of it in his more orchestrated pieces like Youseebiggirl or in the Main theme for attack on titan, any of the versions have that rock part with drums and electric guitar. So it's no surprise that he makes straight up rock songs like this, "barricades", "aliez", "Warcry" etc Edit: he too does rap songs like "before My body is dry" from kill la kill (the rap segment) or "K21"
Yeah but he sets a poll, so the majority will always vote the most famous ones. It'd be ideal if it were a trust-worthy expert of each soundtrack the one that gave him the masterpieces to react to. I love 2Volt, how it constantly mutates into something new, it's like the opposite of being repetitive 😆, so rich, a lot for a musical expert to dissect there. The Reluctant Heroes is probably the most basic one of them all
Definitely, I feel like 2Volt had the best build up and pay off of any AoT track. It's sad that few people appreciate it's complexity as an entire piece. The first time i heard it in full i was just like holy shit
I remember how at the very beginning of this anime, I was still listening to all the tracks from Hiroyuki sawano in attack on the titans, and just music from there, and now, when after many years the time came almost to the very end, I decided to listen again ... Feeling like for the first time, wonderful music , listened several times for a couple of hours, even more than music, like a combination of a certain spirit and atmosphere, real skill, forever in my memory, like the anime itself. and the most pleasing thing is that absolutely every music is extremely different in its style, as if having its own soul
"Attack on Titan suite EmU Project" is a live performance of some of the best OST of AOT that Hiroyuki Sawano published on his official channel, I would love you to react to it, you will enjoy it 💯
Would love to see you react to “ghoulish symphony” from the final fantasy 7 remake. I remember watching your reaction to “The Airbuster” before I played the game, but now that I’ve beaten it I highly recommend this song as well. In a soundtrack full of bangers it’s my personal favourite!
Hey if you're looking for something not from attack on titan for the next one, Trinity from horizon forbidden West is a really beautiful and interesting song, esp from a meta perspective with the characters

Sawano's music is so unique and identifiable. His music from Xenoblade Chronicles X is amazing. I recommend "Uncontrollable" and "Dont Worry" from it.
