Whenever there's a subject in my courses I'm somewhat shaky on, you're the first place I look to reinforce my studies; thanks for all you've done and are continuing to do!
Thank you:):):) I have never had the chance to teach Calculus at my school, so now I am taking matters into my own hands and teaching THE WORLD!!!! I am refreshing my Calculus skills haven't used in years and taking anyone who will watch along with me. So again...THANK YOU.
Senor Torrou...it's a Friday night currently and I can not think of any social gathering or party that I'd ever want to go to in place of studying right now thanks to you! I really hope though, you come back to TH-cam with some more updated classes!
I learned about flipping the +- when multiplying by -1 from watching college professor teach. I like the idea of rewriting the ellipse into to separate functions. It would add more written steps but would make the explanation clearer.
I look forward to the book then:) I appreciate the compliment. I take teaching very seriously, though as you can see from my t-shirts I don't take myself too seriously. I believe TH-cam has made me a better teacher. I have learned from my viewers as I have helped them. These videos represent me, and I am putting my reputation on the line every time I post a video. The impact of this channel is deeper than I ever imaged when I started. I am trying to improve with every one I make.
I'm really thankful to you for offering such a great lesson for anyone who needs it to see and learn...You are literally saving me a lot of time and sparing me the frustration of having to depend on my calculus textbooks' complicated explanations when I study. Also, you have beautiful 'chalkmanship'.
LeoM and thank you for choosing my channel to study with, like and sub to! I'm happy to hear you are finding my lessons so helpful and if you need a break from math I even have lessons on my "chalkmanship" lol:) Please share my channel with your friends, class and teachers and remind them to like, sub, share thru social medias and with others to keep these free educational channels growing and free for everyone:D
I will be done with my Geometry videos in about 2 to 3 months and I can't wait to getting back to Calculus. I really had fun brushing up on my skills. I love doing Calc but when you don't live and breath it...it doesn't all stick. Thanks for watching and all the great comments. Sorry I don't remember the exact answer to your question.
I learned calligraphy in high school and it seems to help the students read the problems easier. Sorry that my Calculus library is not complete yet, that is the subject I will be adding videos to next...but I hope you still can benefit from my videos and good luck with your classes and good for you taking that giant step back to class...you can never have too much education:)
That's AWESOME!!! Yours is still one of most unusual stories I've heard. I promise...all that hard work and dedication will pay off for ALL of you:) Thanks again for all your support!
I've been watching your videos for extra help through college algebra, trig, and now in calculus. I wish more mathematics teachers/professors could be as good. I'm having a difficult time learning from my current calc professor, but your videos are getting me through it. Thank you!
You're welcome Kyle Ash and THANK YOU for being such a loyal subscriber too! I never get tired of hearing how helpful these videos are to students and that some of you have now followed me for all 3 years...it's a lot of after hours work (in comparison to the subscriber growth) to make these videos in addition to teaching full-time but comments like yours always remind me "Why" I continue! Maybe someday education videos on TH-cam will get equal support to entertainment ones. I realize it just mimics everyday life, where sports figures and actors make more money than the teachers responsible for getting them there:( Don't get me wrong, I LOVE teaching but it is becoming a less sought after job and harder and harder to find great teachers.
By the time you are reading this I hope you passed your calc test like BAM!!! And THANK YOU for staying up late watching my videos and studying...that's the kind of motivated students we teacher love teaching:) I hope you have told all your friends about my channel too:D Thanks for watching!
Why, thank you very much! And thank you too for subscribing and adding my videos to your "likes" list. I appreciate the support and hep in growing my channels fan base in Canada:)
I am taking a calculus I course on Coursera and find your lectures a great resource for further explanation. Your neat handwriting is wonderful and your explanations very clear. I haven't taken a math class since 1976 and I never studied calculus before. I am finding it very rewarding! Thank you.
THANK YOU John! Please sub and share this free channel with your friends, classmates and especially your teacher so ALL current and future students know where to find us...BAM!!!
Of course! Actually, nearly our entire group got an A- on the midterm, and I credit your videos. As far as watching the videos, we either play them on the phone as we go up to class for review through the stereo system, or we get together after a class to watch them. Our class is four days per week, and admittedly is getting rather old. I have gladly subscribed, you make the entire process much easier.
Yes, thank you! Thanks to your videos I am doing much better. I have recommended your videos to classmates in both my College Calc and College Algebra classes. I don't know what I would have done without them!
Here I was thinking that implicit differentiation was the scariest thing in the world, and you simplified it SOOO much. I think you just saved my math grade, thank you!
It is a little late now but I was watching the entire video again refreshing myself now that I am done with my Geometry videos and I am getting ready to teach Calculus next year. Did you understand why the signs had to be flipped as I finished the comparison between implicit and explicit differentiation?
And THANK YOU for the compliment, for watching, subbing and supporting this channel! Please keep spreading the word...it's been hard to make any new content with all the additional time it take to dual teach:( Stay healthy!
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful explanation. I have never taken a calculus course before and now at 30 years old I've gone back to school and this really helped me. Thank you again !
Proof once again that it's never too late to learn...BAM!!! You're welcome and thanks for choosing this channel to study with! Please remember to like, sub and share this channel with everyone, especially your teacher:)
I love your videos. I carpool to a college-level calculus class from my highschool every day, so it's very hard to get in contact with my professor (we live about 60 miles away). I can speak for all of us when I say that your videos have saved us a couple of times. You're an excellent teacher and I would love to have your class one day.
Thank you so much for putting so much time in these videos trying to help out all the viewers in calculus, especially me. I highly doubt I could have come out with an A in my class without your videos because of my professor does not know how to teach his classes, but after viewing your videos I have been understanding all the sections with ease. Thank you again your all of your hard work and time that you put into these videos.
You are so very welcome clay mikell and CONGRATULATIONS on that "A"...I call that teamwork! After all, YOU took the time to find help on TH-cam and choose #ProfRobBob I was there to supply you with the help you needed:) Thanks for taking the time to "thank the teacher" and subbing! Please continue to share your learning experience and my channel with friends, classmates and teachers as an additional study reference...this helps free educational channels like mine groW and remain FREE for everyone!
THANK YOU Skylar for recommending my channel to all your classmates! One step further if you have the time and would be willing...if you could share your experience and my channel information with the person or people responsible for incoming student information, whether on a website, a info packet given out, or a student tutoring center. Even if you could get a name and # and message it to me my wife could call...but I'm sure your personal experience would help immensely if you're willing:)
I hate to admit this but I have not looked at Calculus since September when I made my last video. I have yet to teach Calc at my school, but I have wanted to for a long time. After my PreCalc class and Stats was done last year I started to reteach Calc to myself after 17 years and made these videos. But I am teaching 4 subjects this year and I have had to stop Calc & focus on Geometry vids. I don't remember the exact issue but, I had problems sometimes when I didn't switch those signs.
Im a college student right now, and I was up all night studying for an exam just hours prior to my exam. It was three hours before the exam and I just didnt get the concept until I came upon your video. Thanks for saving me and giving me that A. Subcribed. :D
AWESOME news...CONGRATULATIONS on that A and on NOT giving up until you conquered the challenge charlie chao ! "Life has two rules. #1 Never quit. #2 Always remember rule #1"...unknown Don't forget to spread the word and share your experience with the rest of your college friends and help us groW and fulfill our deem of reaching one million subscriber someday...BAM!!!
Oh yeah, I thought I'd add on that because of your videos I'm doing so well in my math classes that I'm jumping ahead to Calc even though I'm in college Trig, because your explanations are so great I feel I can teach myself the intuition so when I start Calc next trimester I'll be ahead of the curve, like I already am! Bam!!!!!!
You literally just blew my mind when you flipped the plus or minus sign next to the radical to minus or plus . Im in ap calculus and i didn't even know that exists. Great video!
Excellent! A way much better explanation than the one from my textbook. Thanks as always! By the way, took my first Calculus test (on limits, basic derivative rules and rates of change) and while I'm stressing out over the result I'm sure I came out in one piece... or two. :) I'll let you know as soon as I'm told. You are part of that! Have a great day!
ProfRobBob Mr. Tarrou, the numbers are in........ ***drumroll***........... GOT 95% ON THE CALCULUS TEST!!! Had a tie-in with 2 other students for the highest test score!!! I am so happy!!! Thank you for your help and encouragement!!! BAAAAMMMM!!!! Now, back to my homework... :)
Double BAM!!!!! and a giant CONGRATULATIONS to you Rafael Montecristo ! All that hard work and studying really paid off..and we are so happy for you as well! Sorry for the delayed reply...took a bit of a holiday break from all this as well:) We are always so excited to hear this kind of news, just like having one of my own classroom students to be proud of...just a much bigger classroom...BAM!!! Keep us posted on your progress...even if my videos don't take you thru all the math you need:) Happy New Year and thanks for making us so proud!
I watch your lectures, right after my professor's lectures to get a further understanding! Your lectures are clear and awesome, thank you! We're starting on related rates tomorrow :(
zork zork you're welcome and THANKS!I hope you will like and subscribe and return for more lessons then tell all your friends to watch and do the same:D
+Annaclaire Stephens these lessons and ALL the time you are putting into studying...BAM!!! Thanks for learning and subbing...please spread the word and tell the rest of your class to watch and do the same:D
Brian Angelozzi LOL...still laughing:) The school I teach at was built in 1926 so there are still some of those awesome "old school" features left...because they don't much build things to last like that anymore:( Good to see you are still watching too:)
You are absolutely the best!!! I wish my calculus professor was as informational as you are! He mumbles and gets super grumpy =( I am so very grateful for your youtube instructions!!!!
Thanks for choosing my lessons to learn from. Sounds like you should share with your class and remind them it is important to watch, like and SUBSCRIBE to support free educational channels like mine:D
THANKS for the compliment MP! I hope you will continue spreading the word about this channel to all your teachers and classmates, so we continue to grow and help others...BAM!!!
BAM!!! Thanks for watching, learning and liking Evan Milacic please SUBSCRIBE, support and share my channel with others and help me groW! You could even share it with your teachers as an additional study resource for them to share with their students:D
I have been looking for a video that I can understand from it a bit something for a week and in this videos I didn't found a bit i found every thing !! thanks so much
You are welcome so much! And THANK YOU for taking the time to let me know how helpful my video was for you. It's always nice to hear that all this hard work continues to help students everywhere and I hope you will continue your support by sharing my channel with others and to SUBSCRIBE:) Educational channels like mine need that kind of support in order to groW!
OMGoodness...60 miles everyday, now that's a dedicated car full of students! So how many of you in the carpool? and do I understand you watch the videos as someone drives?! If so, that's the most unusual study group I've heard about so far! Come to Florida I'd love to have another motivated student in my class. In the meantime, subscribing let's me teach you anytime you are ready to watch and learn...thanks for sharing such a great story:D
You're welcome Miguel Gonzalez thanks for choosing, liking and subbing too! ...the shirt was a gift, thanks. ...please share my channel with your friends, class and teachers as an additional study tool and help us keep growing:D
+William Cage it's my MOST asked about shirt...a retiring teacher passed it down to me years ago and I've never seen one quite like it. If you google Einstein t-shirts you can find a lot but I've never seen a full photo like this one. Thanks for watching, learning Calc and subbing to my channel...I hope you are sharing it with everyone too:D
Jameson Schwartz thanks! The next best thing to being in my class would be to like, subscribe and share my channel with all your friends and classmates...then you could all study together and my channel would keep growing and helping others like you...BAM!!!
I already have been spreading the word but some students either won't admit they need help, or don't realize that math classes aren't always about the answers, it's about the steps and thinking logically... especially since I'm going into programming I feel math would be a great foundation! But yes I am spreading the word of course, how could I keep it secret? Haha bam!
Jameson Schwartz thank you soooo much for spreading the word to those who will listen! But please know that it's NOT just about sharing...it's getting ALL those shares to take the time to like, subscribe, support the ads and share thru all forms of social medias... that the kind of help that we need to keep these free educational channels like mine growing and remain free for everyone. (haven't seen a math video go viral yet...lol:) It sounds like you are on the right track with all your pre-learning and that you are already one of those students that all of us teachers dream of having in their classroom:) Keep up that self-motivation and appreciation of all the free knowledge that is available out there from teachers like me who just love to teach students like you!
Thank you for such motivation, I even looked up some of your news stories and just you as a person, well you and your wife of course lol (I know behind every great man is a great woman shaking her head :P) but you're an inspiration and I also agree that with technology spreading that handwriting is losing its impact, but I also think through influences like you and people watching like me spreading the word and showing that I'm getting better and better at education and it's "on my own" (with assistance of course) and my handwriting as well, with that being spread around I truly believe that what little does get written down in the future should be elegant and beautiful and have more meaning because it IS losing steam, but NOT losing it's emotional conveyance if you will. Keep up the inspiring good work and I will keep supporting you, spreading the word, and I'm also getting some people together for a donation :) not to spoil the surprise.. And there will be a viral math video one day, I know it!!! BAM!!! Thank you Sir and have a wonderful day and a wonderful life! :)
You're welcome ***** thanks for choosing to take pride in your education and study and choosing my channel to learn from and sub to...BAM!!! SPREAD THE WORD :D
+math bone You need to factor out the common factor of y'... unless of course is JUST y'+y' which are like terms, but you should have added like terms before taking the derivative.
Was that a Ferris Bueller reference I heard? ("Nine times...") Thanks for your videos. I'm 41 and have been taking math classes at community college for the past two years. I'm currently up to Calc 1 but these are the first math classes I've taken since my first time through college back in the 1990s. Since I work full time and take classes at night, I'm always trying to work ahead, but sometimes the book just isn't enough for me to grasp material if it's completely new. That's when I check out your channel and see what you have for videos. They have helped me out a few times now!
I know that when using Implicit Differentation, I use the the Chain Rule for the y part of the function. So why do we have to use the Chain Rule for y?
You are technically always doing the chain rule. x^2+y^2=10, derivative 2x(dx/dx)+2y(dy.dx)=0 but dx/dx is 1 so your final answer is 2x+2yy'=0 :D Hope this helps clear up your question and thank you for watching.
Great videos Professor! The only channel I look for math! But I'd like to point something out. In your first examples where you wrote "d/dx 3X^2 y^3", it looks like you're taking the derivative of (3x^2*y^3), since you put no parenthesis. Might confuse someone that doesn't know the product rule.
I am struggling with the concept of notations when to use d/dx or dy/dy, in the middle & last answers, why did the notations turn into y'? Why couldn't the middle answer just been 6x+3y^2 without the y' and in the last answer 3x^23y^2+6xy^3 or 9x^2y^2+6xy^3 without the y'?
THANKS...the shirt is one of my most complimented:) Thank You for choosing to watch & learn! ....and you're welcome! I hope you will Like and SUBSCRIBE and share my channel if you continue to find it helpful:D
Thinking of every x term having a "dx/dx" next to it helps explain the concept a bit better. Thanks for the vid :D I think this whole thing has made me appreciate the dy/dx notation a lot more...
+Joymz De Vera Mallo you're welcome! Thanks for the compliment and for choosing Tarrou's Chalk Talk to learn from! ...this is probably my most commented on t-shirt, and I've never seen another one exactly like it:(
thanks for this video sir,! I just want to ask what's the solution in this equation , (x+y)/(x-y)=(x/y)+(1/y^2),find dy/dx in terms of x and y ,I have an answer but i'm not sure, i will really really appreciate if anyone will answer :)))
What?!?!?!...do you want me to get arrested?!...I know the B is missing but it still reads the same:( I'll just stick with BAM!!! for now:) Thanks for watching!
You're welcome D. So and thanks for choosing #ProfRobBob to watch and learn from:) I hope you will like, subscribe and share my channel with all your friends and classmates:D
Thanks...I shaved my head to support our friend who had breast cancer. We shaved our heads together when she started loosing her hair:) lol...it really stands out against Einsteins giant head of wild hair huh?!
I need help! I have two problems I do not understand and I think I am suppose to do implicit differentiation but am unsure due to how it is worded so here goes, and hopefully someone gets back to me soon... ok. If y= square root of a^2 - x^2, show that: x(a^2-x^2)d^2/dx^2=a^2dy/dx. If y is a function of x, and z=xy show that: x^2 dy/dx=x dz/dx -z. I really do not want just an answer. I want to know how to do the problem. I have tried to work it a couple of different ways and can not figure out how to show that is what it is equal to. Please help!
Having a hard time understanding how after you got (3x^2)(3y^2)(y')+(6xy^3) it simplified to ((9x^2y^2(y'))+(6xy^3) Would love to know, big test on thursday :( Thanks
kekekiwi Passed down from a retiring teacher. Thank You! My kids here would miss me, but if you tell everyone at your school to use my videos for additional study help, students, teachers, head of the math department, post my flyer in the student tutor center, then when EVERYONE on campus know who #ProfRobBob is, then I could make a guest appearance if we're ever in Alabama...BAM!!! So get busy...and remind them ALL to SUBSCRIBE...we're looking for 100,000 subscribers by 2015!
kekekiwi I actually have a printable flyer on my web page at www.profrobobo.com if that would save you time:) ...and no, I couldn't quit and do that to my students or my wife, but I was serious about the guest appearance...my wife and I have always wanted to visit Alabama! You start the Fan Club and make me famous at Alabama A&M and help us reach that 100,000 subscriber goal and I promise we'll make it happen...BAM!!! So get busy (but don't miss any school work over it) CA-CHOW!
It's been a month kekekiwi and I'm only at 53,000 subscribers...ONLY 26 days left in the year to "MAKE IT HAPPEN" :( Let's Go Alabama A & M I know we CAN make this happen!!!!!
ahhh, technically the denominator is the same but you switch the signs when you multiplied by -1, I understand completely. This is an example of what my College Professor would skip while leaving half of the class wondering what just happened. Glad you have a passion for teaching and a talent for it. Don't quit showing every step. That's a part of why we're all here!
kyle lucas You're welcome Kyle. Questions are not usually answered as timely when school is in session but I was on spring break this week. I do appreciate the sub and support and hope you are continually sharing my channel with others!
You're on Zachary Hodge !!! Feel free to post a picture of your shirt on my Facebook fan page or Google+...a fellow teacher passed this one on to me when they retired and I've never seen another one quite like it :)
Where math meets storytelling, and its fun to follow along and learn. Merci Beaucoup Señor Torrou.
You're welcome and THANK YOU Dancho...I like that analogy!
Also thanks for studying and subbing too:)...please keep sharing this channel :D

BAM!!!
Thanks for seeking outside help and choosing this channel...please sub and share this free study resource with your class and teacher too:D
staying up late and watching all your videos to help me on my calc test tomorrow! you're so helpful! i watch your videos all the time! :)
I want to know when are you going to start making calculus videos or math videos for TH-cam:)
The ellipse is sketched correctly. It is wider than it is tall.
Mr. Tarrou, your explanations are very clear,we appreciate very much.keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching Oliver Mutanya !
If you like what you are learning please like, subscribe, share and tell everyone to watch and do the same:D
THANKS, as always too Rafael Montecristo can't wait to hear about that A :)
We really appreciate loyal viewers like yourself!
ProfRobBob
Mr.

We are always so excited to hear this kind of news, just like having one of my own classroom students to be proud of...just a much bigger classroom...BAM!!!
Keep us posted on your progress...even if my videos don't take you thru all the math you need:) Happy New Year and thanks for making us so proud!
I watch your lectures, right after my professor's lectures to get a further understanding! Your lectures are clear and awesome, thank you! We're starting on related rates tomorrow :(
This is the best video on implicit differentiation I have seen so far. Thank you
Good to see you again Anwar…and thanks for your compliment and continued support!
Great youtube channel, I really liked the range and depth of the precalculus videos, keep it up with great calculus videos too :D
best video on this that I've seen. Many thanks.

I knew you were going to be the real deal when i notice your awesome old school pencil sharpener mounted to the left of your board!
Brian Angelozzi LOL...still laughing:)
The school I teach at was built in 1926 so there are still some of those awesome "old school" features left...because they don't much build things to last like that anymore:(
Good to see you are still watching too:)

Keep up the good work profrobbob... Cheers from the Netherlands
Awesome shirt! And even better awesome explanation! Thank you!
You're welcome Miguel Gonzalez thanks for choosing, liking and subbing too!
...the shirt was a gift, thanks.
...please share my channel with your friends, class and teachers as an additional study tool and help us keep growing:D
I've got to have that incredible shirt! Mind if I ask where you acquired it? Thanks as always for the Calc help
Prof Rob Bob is awesome, I wish I was in your math classes in person you explain things so well. And you have awesome shirts lol
(haven't seen a math video go viral yet...lol:)
It sounds like you are on the right track with all your pre-learning and that you are already one of those students that all of us teachers dream of having in their classroom:) Keep up that self-motivation and appreciation of all the free knowledge that is available out there from teachers like me who just love to teach students like you!
Thank you so much for putting up all the videos!! It helped me ALOT 😁 THANK YOU
You're welcome ***** thanks for choosing to take pride in your education and study and choosing my channel to learn from and sub to...BAM!!!
SPREAD THE WORD :D
\ i have a question if both y' are on the same side like y' + y' can you add that to get 2y' ??? is that possible ?
+math bone You need to factor out the common factor of y'... unless of course is JUST y'+y' which are like terms, but you should have added like terms before taking the derivative.
Nathan Stone lol
Was that a Ferris Bueller reference I heard? ("Nine times...")
Thanks for your videos.
At first, it was hard to do Implicit but now it's very fun!!
I'd say that deserves a...BAM!!!
Congrats on studying till you "got it"!
Thank you for making all of these videos, I was on khan academy, but your more fun to watch BAM!
Hey Prof, nice T-Shirt and wonderful lecture. Thanks man!
THANKS...the shirt is one of my most complimented:)
Thank You for choosing to watch & learn!
....and you're welcome!
I hope you will Like and SUBSCRIBE and share my channel if you continue to find it helpful:D
ProfRobBob Sure Prof, u have just earned a new subscriber :)
Roh maxy AWESOME...thanks:)
I love your shirt, where did you buy it?
Thinking of every x term having a "dx/dx" next to it helps explain the concept a bit better. Thanks for the vid :D
I think this whole thing has made me appreciate the dy/dx notation a lot more...
Thanks for studying and subbing and I'm glad to hear your found this video so helpful...BAM!!!
What is the difference between +- and -+ ?
You are really a brilliant teacher. Thanks for the free lecture. Nice shirt, I like to have one :) I owe you a lot!
+Joymz De Vera Mallo you're welcome!
Thanks for the compliment and for choosing Tarrou's Chalk Talk to learn from!
...this is probably my most commented on t-shirt, and I've never seen another one exactly like it:(
thanks for this video sir,! I just want to ask what's the solution in this equation , (x+y)/(x-y)=(x/y)+(1/y^2),find dy/dx in terms of x and y ,I have an answer but i'm not sure, i will really really appreciate if anyone will answer :)))
nice lecture
Thanks for studying and subbing!
IB exams in 17 days and I am going through these legendary videos to review
This is wonderful....thanks a lot Prof
You're welcome kelcey maewashe !
Please Like, SUBSCRIBE and share my channel with your friends too :D
I will do so....i'm a Master of Implicit Differentiation now...thanks again.....
kelcey maewashe BAM!!!
2:55 but that is not implicit differentiation. you need a equation to work with.
im still confused about how you say to find the derivative with respect to a y or x value
How come you don't multiply y prime to 6xy^3? But you did it for the first part of the equation
In the second term I am not going through the chain rule taking the derivative of y with respect to x like I did in the first term.
Thanks alot for making this video :),would you mind helping me solve this expression with implicit differentiation?: 4xy^2-12xy+13=5x
A fellow teacher passed it onto me when they retired..it's really makes a statement on screen huh?!...like BAM!!!...lol Thanks for watching:)
Thank you very much:)
What?!?!?!...do you want me to get arrested?!...I know the B is missing but it still reads the same:(
I'll just stick with BAM!!! for now:) Thanks for watching!
My class is a fast pace calculus class. This definitely help me understand the material better! Thank you
You're welcome D. So and thanks for choosing #ProfRobBob to watch and learn from:)
I hope you will like, subscribe and share my channel with all your friends and classmates:D
highly appreciative of this channel, saved my ass so many times
Thanks for the sub and support...please keep spreading the word whenever you can:D
Beautiful.
BAM!!!
Thanks...I shaved my head to support our friend who had breast cancer. We shaved our heads together when she started loosing her hair:) lol...it really stands out against Einsteins giant head of wild hair huh?!
Absolute masterpiece😀
Akshayan Manivannan BAM!!!
Thanks:)
Don't forget to like, subscribe and spread the word:D
I am just using different notation to remind you that dy/dx is equivalent to y'
WOW...I like hearing that! Thanks for choosing my channel to watch and learn from...please tell your friends to watch, support and subscribe too:)
your t-shirt is awesome, and you are even more awesome. thanks for making these videos.
your videos are exquisite!
Hi Becky, did you ever figure out your question??? That does not look familiar to any problems I have encountered teaching AP Calc AB this year.
Only because he did the one xy=z on the board. He is a good professor but very hard.
Having a hard time understanding how after you got
(3x^2)(3y^2)(y')+(6xy^3) it simplified to ((9x^2y^2(y'))+(6xy^3)
Would love to know, big test on thursday :(
Thanks
I used the commutative property of multiplication and just did 3*3 is 9.
Thank you sir!
You're welcome Eder Mendoza thanks for learning!
lol 1st of all I love your shirt, 2nd of all your a great teacher, 3rd of all you need to come to Alabama A&M an teach. lmbo
kekekiwi Passed down from a retiring teacher.
By guest appearance you mean quitting your job bringing your students and teaching here??!?!? lmbo, ok ill be making fliers by TOMORROW! CA-CHOW!
kekekiwi I actually have a printable flyer on my web page at www.profrobobo.com if that would save you time:)
...and no, I couldn't quit and do that to my students or my wife, but I was serious about the guest appearance...my wife and I have always wanted to visit Alabama! You start the Fan Club and make me famous at Alabama A&M and help us reach that 100,000 subscriber goal and I promise we'll make it happen...BAM!!!
So get busy (but don't miss any school work over it) CA-CHOW!
It's been a month kekekiwi and I'm only at 53,000 subscribers...ONLY 26 days left in the year to "MAKE IT HAPPEN" :(
Let's Go Alabama A & M I know we CAN make this happen!!!!!
You may not have it BY 2015 but definitely before it ends. I'm working on it. XD
Thank you sooo much, sir.
Thanks for watching...please sub and share too:D
why is +over- different than -over+?
Because when you multiply or divide by -1 the signs change
ahhh, technically the denominator is the same but you switch the signs when you multiplied by -1, I understand completely. This is an example of what my College Professor would skip while leaving half of the class wondering what just happened. Glad you have a passion for teaching and a talent for it. Don't quit showing every step. That's a part of why we're all here!
also, thanks for the timely responses. another big help!
kyle lucas You're welcome Kyle. Questions are not usually answered as timely when school is in session but I was on spring break this week.
I do appreciate the sub and support and hope you are continually sharing my channel with others!
I should say the same for your dancing too...BAM!!!
thanks again and nice shirt by the way :)
You're welcome Matthew Albert !
Thanks, it is my most commented on shirt:)
Yeah it nice!!! I wish I had one!!!
Why so hirap to analyze that huhu..
I will
Akshayan Manivannan thanks!
I have a shirt with Gauss on it, I challenge you to a math shirt off!
You're on Zachary Hodge !!!
Feel free to post a picture of your shirt on my Facebook fan page or Google+...a fellow teacher passed this one on to me when they retired and I've never seen another one quite like it :)
"Deriviting"..
And also, COOL SHIRT!
Thank You. It was a give from a good teacher friend when she retired.
