Good range of tests, thank you. I tried GS against BH Autufoam at 4% it worked just as well, but is more expensive. Then tried GS against BH Surfex at 10% on wheels and sausage fat. Surfex won easily. So, in my life, despite GS being a nice product to use i can't see me buying any more. Ps, I'm from the UK so BH products do work out remarkably good value here. Thanks again
I use it 1 to 5 in everything body tyres rims I have the best results I don’t know why you’re not getting good results I use it for years I don’t know if maby in Europe iam from is different than in America I don’t know ?
thanks for sharing, this definitely given me a very different perspective, i was 50:50% about the school of thought that claimed you only need apc before hand wash, but now i think im convinced that product specialised for prewash has its place, i can clearly see benefit of having bilt hamber touchless in my shelve. perhaps this is really the case of jack of all trades master of none
Great video 👍🏻 I have a couple TH-cam shorts where I tested its performance on cleaning tires and it got a lot of keyboard warriors riled up and angry😆 glad to see you tested on tires also I like a lot of KC products but this one is definitely overhyped; as you mentioned it doesn’t do anything outstanding, it’s just normal. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but unfortunately many people focus on the brand itself and make conclusions based solely off of that, and disregard the actual performance of each product. Every brand has great products and okay products. This product is good but not it’s not excellent by any standard. For example I tried Carpro inside thinking it would be really great because of the brand and I literally couldn’t even finish a clients vehicle with it because of how much I didn’t like it’s performance so went back to P&S xpress interior. Have you had any experience like that, and which product?
Thanks! Like you said every company makes a great product and some ok products. They all will get the job done, for the most part, however when comparing products people need to understand the overall value. There are a lot of brand loyal customers out there and out of pure ignorance they will defend the brand because it represents them, not the end result they achieved. And that is ok. However pro’s and experience details will think outside the box and look though the marketing fog we are forced in. My arsenal is very small and limited to products from multiple companies that have that one best product that is tried and true. The list can go on and on here. To each their own.
@@DetailProjects - Let me say that there are many misconceptions about Koch Chemie and that one product should not be singled out for reference, such as Gs. First of all, it should be noted that Gs is the lightest non-caustic option. Secondly, for a good pre-wash, their Active Foam or Super Foam is recommended, which offer more punch. That is why there are gradations in emulsification. So there are other options than just an APC. Thanks for the review though.
A pressure washer defeats the purpose of me testing the product capabilities on its own. Obviously pressure on its own will get rid of 95% to 98% off anything that’s on the surface. That’s where most people get lost. They use pressure and think it’s the product that did all the work?
@@DetailProjects true but at the end of the day you will still use that pressure washer regaurdless that is the detailing but i see where u are coming from so i can't complain
Was your brush dry when you used it on the 5:1? If so, I'm guessing that's why it didn't lather as much since your brush wash wet when used on the other two, great video!
Optimum power clean is by far one of the best Apc in the market. DIY Detail is really expensive for what it is when you buy the 16 oz bottle. It comes pre-diluted at 15:1. So you’re paying $12 CAD for an ounce of product. Plus at this dilution ratio I got mediocre results. Not worth the money. However I see why they sell it this way besides being profitable. It’s a safe proof ratio for the average person that does not understand chemistry and the potential risks of using APC’s.
@@DetailProjects I get All Clean in a gallon bottle, which is undiluted, for $50 ($0.39/oz). I've been using it at 15:1 but have been thinking of bumping it up to 10:1 for more cleaning power.

Lucky you live in uk, there is no BH in my country😂
(Indonesia) so green star or sonax multistar r my choice
I have found Surfex HD to be a superior product, tried both.
Might be but it costs 3 times as much.

GS to me looks like Simple Green. Used SG a lot back in the day.
Great review 👍

What about dwell time? Would have been good to see a longer dwell time
Try a citrus pre wash instead
By household soft water, do you mean like the water dispenser from a fridge ?
No I mean a $3000 water softener system you install in your house
That would be "filtered water."
maybe use the pressure washer and see if it still gives you the same results that is what i wanna see

Thanks! The brush was wet for all 3 parts. I always wash off my brushes before any use and in between.
What's your favorite APC? Have you tried DIY Detail All Clean?

Does it erase you're wax
It’s not a very good tire cleaner if it was you’d see it turn brown before you even touch it
GS is so overrated.. .first APC i got cause the reviews and what not, and very dissapointed.. i use GYEON APC, way stronger product.
Gyeon apc trash👎
@@johnnyboi6342 compared to GS? or compared to what other apc?
