Looks like great fishing once those bream switched on. Must go there and try, as not to far to travel, and really enjoy this style of fishing. Thank you Darren 👍👏👏

Good video nice fishing well done, just a note it looks like you did your loop to loop knot wrong, it looks like you put the hook lengths through the main line and then the hook through the hook length loop line, if that's the cause you have done a strangulation knot which will cause a weak spot on your main line hoop. Should be, thread the loop of the hook length over the main line then thread the hook through the main line, that will spread the load better on the main line, if I'm wrong please disregard this message. 🎣🎣🎣🎣

you are spot on. also dont forget the strangulation style loop to loop makes it 'kick off' from the mainline making your rig wonky. doesnt really matter on a feeder rig but you definitely dont want your pole rig making an L shape.

I believe it does matter because you will have a weak link on the main line loop, and if your trying up strangulation knot in a feeder rig you will automatically do the same on a float or pole rig that's just opinion sorry 🎣🎣🎣🎣

You can’t beat a bream bite on braid.

Why just 1 overhand knot up the line?

It creates a bolt rig effect which lets the fish hook itself but importantly it allows the feeder to pass over the knot as it’s only one knot it’s smaller. See 7:22 mins onwards. Hope this helps. 🎣
