    My wife just got one. The shaft spun out in the adapter on the first brush. I took a 12 volt Harbor Freight drill (drill motor), took the chuck off , moved the motor to the front of the case. The rubber brush holders fit the motor shaft in the cordless drill. You can't run it with the trigger pulled all the way down , because it's way too fast , and will sling the brush across the room. About half way pull of the trigger, and it's the perfect speed. She isn't thrilled about the overkill, but at least it'll last. The 12 volt is a very light weight drill , but a little heavy duty for a brush cleaner.

    This concept is a great idea. Never thought of it for spinning brushes clean and dry. I paint and when I get into paint night as a pt job I could really use this concept. I however will just use my electric drill. The whole if you back it up will open up large enough to insert almost all my paintbrushes, which are made at the same locations as makeup brushes, in case you didn't know that....Get a cheap small fishbowl from the dollar tree and go for it.

  • @AmyRigsbyPhoto
    @AmyRigsbyPhoto 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I love mine. Use it all the time and use dawn dish soap. And it dries super fast. Don’t use it on brushes that have end caps on them!

    • @GlamGirlGabi
      @GlamGirlGabi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it’s totally legit. It’s a great product. I can’t use it on dual ended brushes but it’s a small price to pay because it dries my fluffy powder brushes immediately and that’s so important for a makeup artist.

      If you have an issue with skin sensitivity, what you could do is just run the brush under the tap with clean water after you've swirled it in the soapy solution. That's an easy fix if you're still interested in using this type of product.

      That’s totally how I have been washing most of my brushes too. I generally use a clarifying shampoo to get rid of oil based products like consulate.
