This is what happened to the rest of the toy soldiers at the end of toy story 3 move into a new house and begin a war with neighboring toy soldiers and they have real bullets!
As a 27 year old who played with physical army men toys to playing the army men game back in the day ! I'm hype & full of nostalgic ! It's a simple game but brings joy to me 🤣💯

Without that gore factor, it's just not hitting the same. Still looks fun though.
If you want RTS my great friend has already released one on steam, called Plastic Tactics, if your not into FPS or third person shooters that may be the game you're looking for :)
The part with the plane getting shot down and transitioning to the kid crashing the plane into to the tank and the transition back to the fighting was some saving private ryan type shi
This trailer was worth it just to see that Microprose logo come up. They made some of my fave games on the micro computers. Glad to see them back we have missed you
When I was 14 my family relocated from the west to the east coast. I was a big plastic model maker, with about 15 different armor, including tanks, howitzers, troop transport, and airplanes. There was an area near my house, a stalled subdivision construction, with piles of dirt, debris, and the like. Small weeds and puddles gave some realism to battlefield conditions, at least in my mind. I took all my stuff and 150 soldiers over there and had a great battle. Lighting things on fire, blowing up with firecrackers, and generally, creating so much black smoke from the plastic burning that the local Fire Dept. came to put it all out after I high-tailed it into the nearby woods before they arrived. So much fun I had that day.
I'm 21 right now, I've had those green army men before as a kid. I'd be surprised if there aren't many of my peers that ever got their hands on those toys before.
The Army Men games often failed to stick the landing, but conceptually the series was actually pretty great, with competent worldbuilding and intentionally over the top gang-ho presentation that worked at keeping the tone light
