Here is a look at the process of making Jinx from League of Legends and Arcane. I show creating her outfit, painting and carving her face and using thermal plastics to make shoes. Minor show spoiler but there is a warning right before.

Ahhhh I absolutely love how jinx came out in doll form 😊 jinx is my fave league character even tho I don’t play (I watch my housemate play) but in arcane she stole my heart

OOOH awesome work! The entire process looks mesmerizing. Also, Jinx has been my main since 2015. Her Zombie Slayer skin was the first one I ever bought and she's ofc my favorite in arcane 💙✨ thank you for doing such an amazing doll version of her.
Thank you! I am partial to the Heartseeker skin. I really love the diving into the backstory that Arcane did and seeing how the madness took over. Thats a huge amount of trauma for a child to endure. Harley Quinn's got nothing on Jinx 😆

You are exactly right! I keep trying to look on the bright side too, the kitchen was the one thing I really didn't like about this house when we bought it and we had planned to redo it sometime next year. This just means I get to redo it a bit sooner than planned and insurance helps pay for it. I am so glad you liked the pic! That was the reason I really wanted to use Howleen because she had these awesome clawed hands that were perfect for a "I'm going crazy" head grab pose.

Catmeleon Studios talks about rerooting shrunken heads. She uses an awl to puncture new holes into the vinyl.
Yeah, I rarely shrink heads because I don't like the change in the texture. I know she usually does the slow shrink and I may have to try that because the fast shrink sharpens the features more than I like and I noticed hers don't have that problem.

worbla primer....... FINALLY someone says what it's actually called!! i tend to get pretty annoyed at all the 'reputable' sources saying that there is no other way to prime worbla than using up to 24 coats of white glue. wonderful work on jinx :P
I love the stuff! I use it on foam stuff too, it's especially great for foam clay. It keeps the foam from getting too brittle after it dries.

She looks amazing my only complaint would be the skin tone being too grey I feel like it made her look kind of like a zombie
Thanks. The idea was to go more grey with her skin tone like her default LoL skin is but put her in her new outfit. I wanted her to be somewhere in her timeline after the show ended since there is an obvious difference in her skin between these two game cosmetic skins. I feel like the shimmer she receives changes her quite a bit since she has pink eyes and grey skin in her original cosmetics.

Thank you. I haven't decided yet if I will be doing more from Arcane. There were some really great non-champion characters too. I think if I ever muster the courage to do a male doll it will likely be from this fandom.

Thank you, Viktor is one I would like to do eventually. It was really cool getting to see him before his body modifications, I liked the gaunt, sickly way he is depicted. It made it feel like his body mods in League were necessary.
@@LadyDynamiteCreates I agree! And I love that his whole character wasn't his disability. They showed him as much more, and showed how disabilities are not easy to live with. I found myself relating to him so much throughout the series!!
I’ve wanted to start making custom dolls for a while , although jinx won’t be the first doll I do she is the end goal for me. I’m gonna start by just trying to make someone, literally anyone. My biggest question was the skin as jinx is quite pale and I’m trying to find a doll with that skin shade for cheap would be difficult but after research there are ways I can work around this. I love this doll sm

She's amazing! Sorry to hear about your dishwasher. It's just the worst when stuff packs in right before you need it. My central heating is on the fritz and it has started to get really cold where I live which is fantastic 😂. Great work on Jinx and can't wait to see what's next!
Oh no! I hope you get it fixed soon, being in a house when the AC or heat is out is awful. Hopefully it doesn't cost an arm and a leg too! We had to replace our whole unit a month after buying our new house. I'm hopeful I can get another doll out before I take my Christmas break. Fingers crossed no crazy mishap occurs!
@@LadyDynamiteCreates hopefully it should be a simple fix. At least there's still hot water. I can live without the heating for a couple of weeks (I have loads of sweaters and blankets) but I can't stand not having a hot bath at the end of a long day. Don't rush yourself with making another doll. It's nice to relax the closer it gets to the end of the year. My brain's already shutting down lol

Thank you so much! I appreciate the support. I was originally born and raised in north Alabama but lived in Georgia for a while, New York, Washington, Maryland and finally California. My accent isn't as strong as it used to be and I think living all over has morphed it over time to this new amalgam.

Thanks! She does have such a tragic story. I would have been hard on an adult but she was just a kid too so even worse. I would like to eventually create her as "Powder" but haven't found a childlike doll that isn't too much of a toddler body shape.

got wood flooring in my kitchen. NEVER EVER EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our oven quit working properly a few years ago just before Thanksgiving. I still havent fixed it. I just double the recommended cooking time lol Hope youre all sorted!
Yeah we are talking about getting the new tile flooring that looks like wood since they won't be able to match this 30 year old wood. Right now half of my kitchen is ripped out so trying to cook or do anything is interesting to say the least. Hopefully I have a kitchen by February

Where did you get the fabric for the pants? I can't find stripes on a doll scale ;-;
This fabric came from Joann's. I was very fortunate because I thought I was going to have to paint or use fabric markers. I don't know if they still have it because this was back in November

Powder doll child next?
After I did Vi I seriously debated doing Powder instead of Jinx but I didn't have a doll base that would work well at the time. All the "young" styles I have are a bit too toddler proportioned. If I can ever find a good fit she is one I want to do. She just broke my heart!

Over the last 20 years I have lived all over the country so its changed my original southern accent. During the time I was living in NY my southern accent was still very strong but my speech tempo sped up a lot so no one back down south could understand me anymore 😀
