I was just looking for a CFD video and here it popped up! Bless your heart. This is just what I needed on a Friday when I was planning to fishing but the East wind and the weather are not in my favor, so TH-cam and CatFish Dave are going to be my relief!!
Dag what a flatty!! Mlm You as re right, you are looking good in the new clothes, especially that beautiful blue shirt! Thanks for another fun day!!🤣👍🤗
Glad you came to fish Ky my backyard love Ky and barkley lake .so many fishing opportunities here and nice blue and flathead .got to get them groceries as Cornelius would say like to watch him too .glad you had a good time be safe out there the great ohio can get pretty rough ! Especially after a big rain and debris comes floating down big trees and such! Thanks another video keep them coming hope to see on ky some time!
Nothing wrong with a battery powered radio, some drinks, and good laughs/smiles with or without friends. It makes your bigger catches more memorable as well!
Glad to see your fishing where I fish sometimes the Skipjacks does get a little bigger have caught 3 lb ones down there good luck in the Ohio love watching your show
Glad to see you are back Dave, Last I heard you were having truck troubles. Hope they didn't have to shoot your horse......Real nice Flatty, man, just a beautiful fish.
I feel the magic of that area. I felt it on the Potomac River just upstream from George Washington's pad, Your description of the area was so spot on excellent. There are many areas like these if people just get out and explore.
Great video Dave, Hope you stayed another day or two and moved up into the kentucky/Indiana part of the Ohio River and fished that, be interesting to see how well you do there. Thanks again
Great video Dave. I live about 30 miles from the Paducah riverfront. You are correct you don't see a lot of people fishing from boats in that section of the river. Keep up the good work.
Been watching since you was a bank fisherman, my wifes mother lives in Paducah and we come up from east Texas every summer, ive caught some healthy size cats right there, pretty cool to see we have fished some of the same water
Great video Dave, my grandparents came from that area and moved to S Knoxville we have some things in common. I heard stories of monster catfish as a kid.
Dave you can touch up on your singing voice, just a little bit. HaHa. You were a long way from home, but the two real nice fish , to me, made it worth it. That was a nice blue cat you cought frist. I don't care who you are, you don't catch a flathead like that every day. Take care, God bless.
Awesome banjo! I think Bach would be a good name. Not only for the composer, yet for all of the chickens who lost there lives to Beethoven just because all they could say was Bach.
Great video! Congratulations on catching a nice Blue! Bro the Flathead was a TANK! Thanks for all the tips you add in your video's! Keep fishing from north Alabama ghenley35
I MUST AGREE, I like this version of You! Chill have Fun and catch a BIG ONE! Nice Flat Dude! Be you Buddy, Shorts Snazzy Hat, no Shoes, it can't get more Laid Back than that. Only one thing! A good song would be Sweet... Come on you know you want to! Sing a little Diddle!! Waiting on a Bite Sing us a Song! If you get interrupted, it's all good Buddy, Hey it's a Fishing Show and there was Fish in it! I always know you will Hook a BIG ONE! THANKS, YOU ARE BEST OF THE BEST!
Wish I’d known you were here. I’m a pilot and work that area. Holler next time you’re up this way. Spawn is winding down and we are starting to catch some nice fish again.
seeing that carp cut in half and still breathing reminded me of back in the late 70’s when we would go to northern Wisconsin musky fishing and we started seeing just the head of Bullheads going through the water with the gills still moving that was what kept them moving but we found out the muskies were feeding on them and they would bite them right behind the three spikes
Love your videos, especially when you're in my hometown Paducah where I grew up. A couple of things that you said caught my ear. Lake Barkley not lake Cumberland. Unfortunately, most bank fishing has been lost due to a barge company has bought up most of the shoreline in Paducah and neighboring counties. The shoreline where I played as a kid growing up is now off limits for the most part 😢
We don’t get many skipjack year round around northern Kentucky. I just posted a video burning up giant skips on the Ohio River below Markland dam to my page. Most of them were Tennessee sized 😂
Love your fishing bud. Rarely see a tape or scale. Just like me. Really wish I hade pics of the fish I caught in my youth. Quite a few could have gone on the wall. But I ain’t killing a fish like that.
Hey Dave. I've fished the Ohio for 25 years and always ate the fish. Every since the trainwreck in East Palestine, Ohio. When they burned the chemicals and they ran into the river that spills into the Ohio, I haven't been back. I like to eat my catch but I have been afraid since.
I have always believed in wearing a nice shirt when you go fishing, because when you catch a world record fish you will be all over the internet and tv and such
Dave when you were washing your boat with that young girl candy I believe. There were no dag blasted dog leaf blowers dag blasted bass boats. Lets see more candy on the boat an less dag blastet noise.
I wasn't aware that the Asian Carp were down in that part of the rivers. I knew they were up farther North but I suppose they've inundated all river systems by now? Most the reports I've seen are showing people catching them in nets out of the air but I've not seen any comprehensive reports about just how far they've got by now? Probably in everything & w/ them it might affect the size of native fish? IDKnow, I'm asking as much as anything here? Thanks for the video
I just subscribed to your channel. I was the101000 subscriber I’m from Oregon traveling through your area. Going to dip a line this Weekend trying fat a Catty. Don’t really have them in Oregon.
At KY dam right bye Bank were you put boat in to big stone round thing tall right by Bank floating in-between both stone pillars about 4 ft from Bank and you can see your car also lol
Awesome flat head Dave good video. Do you drift or use a trolling motor. Would like to learn more about your style on big cats. I'm in southern Indiana the Ohio River. Santee Cooper is awesome I've fished it.

Can you please do a bank fishing video for us losers…put the rods on the cooler one last time
100%!!!!!!!!
Not having a boat doesn’t make you a loser. People who have boats and don’t use them are losers.
Nothing wrong with a battery powered radio, some drinks, and good laughs/smiles with or without friends. It makes your bigger catches more memorable as well!
I believe he educated the local homesteading community to his bank spots. Probably wouldn't be able to find a spot.
@@bidenhasdementia8657 yeah I guess that’s true

Enjoyed the video and enjoyed speaking with you at the Bass Pro while you were shopping.
Nice video, I loved the tunes and the ending seemed like a different flavor big cats.

Oh yeah!

Dang Dave, you got as much poles on your boat as a bass fisherman 🤪 Nice fish.
Great video Dave.

I used to live in paducah, and the thing I miss the most is the fishing. 😢

As usual, great stuff!! What is your practice when you want to keep catfish to eat??
Great to watch , trout fisher man here 73’s 9231 southern Ct , Caio
Dave when you were washing your boat with that young girl candy I believe. There were no dag blasted dog leaf blowers dag blasted bass boats. Lets see more candy on the boat an less dag blastet noise.
When you were pulling in that flathead i was hoping you had a sturgeon on!

Awesome flat head Dave good video. Do you drift or use a trolling motor. Would like to learn more about your style on big cats. I'm in southern Indiana the Ohio River. Santee Cooper is awesome I've fished it.
Brad is a pretty good guy.
Can you try using the Berkeley big game rod and a spinning reel to see how it does? That would be interesting content
Nice Flathead. 👍
I was hoping to see how you did with the carp bait.
Dave let me ask you when you were fishing the flatt were you anchored ?
