- Restoration of an old rusty flask from the First World War. I found this old rusty military flask on a WW1 battlefield. The flask was in terrible condition. The bottle was very rusty and damaged. I decided to restore the flask. I removed the rust and painted the flask. I hope you liked my restoration.

I already thought you should make a night lamp with stars out of it😅🌟

I was going to write the same 😂.
It look so pretty that way.
The result was totally unexpected - Jaw Dropping!! It could not have been done any better. Amazing.

Had to laugh when I saw all the holes😆 Well done !!!
Very nice final finish. I agree with not drinking water from it. But you did make it look like new issue... Thumbs Up!
I enjoyed this video very much. I was really surprised of how well the fiberglass repair worked with this one. Great job!
thanks)
Wow I thought that was beyond rescue. Great job dude!! Looks amazing.
Now THAT was surprisingly good!!

Ficou sensacional!
Good Yop perfect exelent 👍🏽🙂👏🏽
German 1893 canteen, late war manufacturing. Many were covered with feldgrau enamel, much more resistant. I found one complete in a nearly new condition, with its velvet cover, for only 5 euros as the seller thought it was a boy scout canteen... splendid job you did here !
I would have never thought that you could fix this old Military drinking canteen.
WOW!!! Outstanding! I thought it'd be impossible to restore it. Great job! 😎❤
Amazing Restoration 👍🏻👍🏽👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
I just love your gadgets & patient also ❤

Wow, that’s an incredible restoration! Great craftsmanship 👍🙏👏
*_You do deserve a Nobel prize for skill and patience._*
I agreeeeee!!!!!!
Same

Despite the negative comment above , I respect the fact that you showed such tenacity to bring the flask back to life 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻..
PS , thought you were going to make a quirky light fitting out of it at one point 😂😂👍🏻
I literally ❤ fall asleep watching your videos they are calming
Thanks for watching my videos)
That is a lot of work, but you did a good job.
Alter Schwede!!!! Die Flasche hätte ich ad acta gelegt! Respekt 👏
GREAT JOB ON EXTRMELY RUSTY WWI MILITARY FLASK RESTORATION REXTORER ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What effort to restore! All it needs is a piece of cork to plug it.
Dude! One of the most satisfying restorations I watched. Great job. Anyone knows the country of origin? My guess is Austro-Hungarian.
Maybe it could also be German
Okay...
It looks great on the outside. But what about the inside?
Indeed. What about the inside? It's a drinking bottle, suppose you were to drink from that. Then the drink would come in contact with that polyester. Also the outside is not correct. In WW1 there was no polyester. This restoration is not authentic. It is an authentic bottle, with a layer of polyester on the outside. That's not right.
the inside doesn’t matter ig, it’s not like you can drink from it anyways. lol.
@@xXScyllaXx No indeed not... It would have been nice though if you could (safely) drink from it.
Perfect :)
I never would have thought of repairing metal with fibreglass! Amazing job!
Why did you paint the flask, sand it off and paint it again?
Was thinking OMG when it was blasted more holes than Swiss Cheese. I guess that far gone you have no choice but to go the whole way and rebuild it. Looked great when rebuilt.
Excellent and interesting restoration, but with those hundreds of holes, I think the opportunity was lost to turn it into a very much unique projecting nightlight. Artistic, and would give an irredeemable item a further purpose. Worth a thought next time.
If I find another such flask, I will make a nightlight)
@@ReXtorerA multicoloured strobe light in there would knock a disco ball into a cocked hat. Slow colour change lights for inside a living room.
Dope AF results, @ReXtorer!
Nice work but i am surprised that there is any metal left. I don't see a particular point of restoring it. But it looks nice
Espectacular ¡¡¡¡¡¡ caramañola militar
Is the welding safe from lead?
Admir întotdeauna cunoștințele tale tehnice ,iar in final ,,Glorie eroilor si luptătorilor din Ucraina "🇺🇦🇹🇩👍
Thank you!
What sort of top would it have had? A cork stopper?
Restaurado frasco militar 🍶😉
16:22 should have just mounted a lamp in it, made a stand, and called it a night light.
Good idea)
There wasn’t anything printed on it back jn the day?
Do you use a mask when you use sanding paper or the wheel?
❤❤
)))
👍👍👍
Fiberglass! I never would have guessed this! Very creative!
Thanks)
👌😊
Perfecto, ha resucitado!!!!!!!
Famosa cor: Verde Oliva
After restoration, are u selling them, if YES, are u making any profit?
Hi! I don't sell
👍
Halo halo ZESTAW NAPRAWCZY? Czyżby obywatel Polski 😮🙂
Okay, so you can't drink from it, but at least now it can hold water, which it couldn't have when you started
is it like safe to drink from though?
No. For collection only
Where do u find all this stuff???
I find it with a metal detector. On this channel I show how I search www.youtube.com/@ArtifactDigger
To the folks who are coming down on the utility of your venture, i say dont listen. This was inspired and sometimes the challenge and the joy of bringng somthing so far gone is cause enough. Brilliant work
while u guys want value of the item, im enjoying the process
How manny hours did it take to sandpaper that?
It seems 5-6 hours
cut it in half so you can clean the inside. then weld it back 😂😂😂
😊😅😂
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
its injurious to health
Yes just make a beautiful night light out of it. I still think it should be a light SORRY!
