Hi, Melissa...love your knowledge and sense of humor! You inspired me to order "Molecule 01" from N-M today (along with a Loewe release and Armani's "Rouge Malachite"). I just cannot bring myself to pull the trigger on MFK's Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait when I've never been a lover of gourmand fragrances...give me oriental spicy, fresh citrus, light floral, or tropical island allure any day...even some whiskey/incense/smoke/tobacco notes are preferable to chocolate/caramel corn/marshmallow/praline or any of those "Mom's-been-baking-again!" saccharine notes that make my teeth ache. I also want to test the "Molecule 01-Patchouli" if I can find it. I'm looking for a good layering base for some juices in my collection that need improved sillage, longevity on my skin, or just to be more interesting. If all else fails, I'll rely upon your recommendation to buy LV's "Afternoon Swim" and also replace my empty of Creed's "Virgin Island Water" before summer hits. Thanks for all the info and laughter you've shared!

I'm still only a few months into fragrances, would you say Filosofia is for an older, mature crowd in the same way people say Sauvage elixir is? I'm 18m and would buy it but don't want to end up getting something mismatched with my age range
I would say a more mature fragrance.
