This is the best video on making envelopes. You demonstrate so beautifully, going at a understandable pace, unhurried, clear diction and leaves me in no doubt now to go a purchase this punch board. I am so grateful that I now don't have to struggle making envelopes. Very best wishes and a happy New Year Jo xx
Thank you so much for showing how to do a rectangular envelope! I've had this for quite a while and make the square ones no problem, but never could quite figure out how to make the rectangular ones.
Very good tutorial. Your simplicity was music to my ears. I hate when people ramble on and on and on and on and on and on and on, like I’m doing now… TLC love you
I have had my Envelope Punch Board for 6 months at least and have been afraid of the measuring, etc. I've watched your easy-to-follow video and now have two perfect envelopes. Thank you!
Wow you just solved a problem for me. I have been making card boxes on my punch board for A2 cards but the envelope did not fit. Thank you so much. Making the 8x8 and scoring at 31/2 has solved my problem. It’s just great. It fits so well in the box. Wonderful Thanks again
Thank you SO much! I wasted so many papers trying to figure out how this worked! I was getting so frustrated, but the way you showed it was so straight forward and what I needed. Thank you!
I am so happy to have found your video on this particular envelope punch board. I purchased this on sale at Michaels in the fall of 2015 and couldn't figure out how to properly use it. I do best with visual demonstrations and you helped me so much! I can now make the sizes I need and had to thank you!
Thanks for this great video! I got this tool when it first came out, and never opened it. After not making cards in, well, forever, I dug out all my stuff and found THIS! But couldn't for the life of me make the envelopes come out right. Your video was perfect. My stupid mistake was made clear to me and now I can envelope with the best of them. BETTER because you gave such great tips! Thanks a ton!!
Thank you so much for the tips! I was aggravated because I kept measuring the 3 1/4" after each rotation and my cards never fit correctly. Duh! Just line up the last score and quit worrying about measuring! Your tips made using the board so much more fun!
Thank you so much for providing the fix for the A2. It was getting frustrating wasting time & paper getting it right. I made a template to use on my Silhouette Cameo, but now I don't have have to go through all that. Very happy I found your video!!!!
Thanks so very much for this tutorial. I have become a visual and auditory learner after two strokes and this was greatly beneficial to me. Thanks again!
Just ran across this. I'm so glad you did the 5x7 envelope. I have been fighting with the score line for the longer side since the board came out. I NEVER even thought about sliding the paper off and just folding it. Thanks too for the fix for the A-2 envelope. Sometimes I'm just not paying much attention. Thank you!!!
Excellent Video Tutorial , very well explained and appreciate tip(s) for A-2 card revisions and for when running out of space on Punch Board for what to do with creating larger size envelopes!! Thanks so much for sharing this.
Thank you!!! I just finally broke down and bought the punch board and was immediately disappointed with the A2 sized envelope. I did a google search for the problem and your video popped up at Pinterest. It's just the solution I was looking for. Thank you so much for sharing! :)
I had bought the We R Memory Keepers Alphabet Punch Board (so fun). I wandered into Tuesday Morning, went straight to the craft area and noticed this was the same company. It is white and blue, like the Alphabet Punch Board and was only $9.99! I wanted a video on how to use it and found yours. Love yours! I like how you carefully explain something, then speed up the video through the subsequent steps. I also thought your nails looked spectacular. Thank you!SueKuKu
Thank You! I can not believe you figured this out. I always make cards out of the standard card stock of 11 x 8 1/2 and get 2 cards out of one sheet.. I was very disappointed with this system and am very grateful for your video. This is great.
Thank you for all the hints. I just got mine and my first two looked crazy. This is perfect instructions for an excited new board owner. Again, WaHoo going to have fun!!!! Hugs!
Thank you so so much for your video! It was not too lengthy....you were on point without dragging out irrelevancies (and without "ahems" and "you know's"). Best of all I love the tip about scoreboard shortage which has us having to extend scorelines manually. ha ha I was using a ruler -- this brilliant idea of folding along the scoreline saves us that step! THanks so so much!
thank you so much!! i know this video is about 3 years old but i love to make a2 sized cards and custom envelopes and the a2 size measurements were so frustrating on the punch jo5ard....thanks for helping me get a better fit!! god bless
thanks for this video I'm going to get the envelope punch board soon and I've made a few A2 cards so will need envelope for them this is incredibly helpful to make sure I get them the right size.
the coolest thing about the envelope puncher is that you can use it to much more then just envelopes, you can make paper bows, you can make index cards ,boxes, bags etc
Just received mine today I can’t wait to get started I agree the board could have been a little larger but anyway totally excited thank you for this video and the info on the 8x8 xx
Thanks so much for a great video! I didn't find the instructions clear re the Score Guide, but after seeing your video, it's easy to understand! Thanks for the correction to the A2 envelope also!
I like the A2 envelope size you gave us. I was excited when I did one and my card fit beautifully inside it. But, it's too wide to fit into a 6x5x2 stationery box I've been working on for days now. Guess I'll have to keep with the 8x8 paper scored at 3 5/8. Those envelopes just seem too tall but the width works in the box.
I liked the fact that you cut the paper down to fit the card better with the A-2. I wonder if you found that problem on any other sizes? thanks for the video!
Thanks for the video. I’m looking for help. I bought one of these and love it, except some of the sizes do not come out right according to the chart. I have seen other videos that say there is a revised chart to fix the errors. However, the link they give to get the corrected sizes is no longer available. Do you know where I can get that revised chart.
What kind of adhesive do you recommend? Wouldn't you need a different kind to hold the envelope together on the bottom than on the top part that the receiver will open?
Thank you so much for sharing. I appreciate your tip for the change of measurement. Are all the other envelope measurements adaquate on the board for the other size cards? Thank you !!
I'd like to know how you determined the proper cardstock size and score point for the cards you demonstrated. The only way I could think to find these is to fold a piece of paper around the card size you're making and measure the space from the edge of card to the fold line of envelope, but trying to get that the proper, equal rectangular size is very tricky. Can you please offer us some tricks of the trade?! Thanks so much!!!
This is an excellent video - thank you for making it so clear and to the point. I have marked it as a favorite in case I need to refer back to it. I just bought this board tonight - what do you think the advantage is to being able to punch that corner out over making an envelope on the Martha Stewart score board? I guess I'll have to make one on both and see why the punch matters. :) Thanks again!
TY for yo you demo of the envelope maker:) , but may I ask where you got your glue gun from ? Green one in the demo) I'm in the uk so have you got a website link for this please Kind Regards Reggie.
Just watched the video .. we r memory board... 123.... I would like to make envelopes size larger then the chart indicates. I.e. 61/2 x 61/2 card size. Does .. we r memory board.... make charts for larger envelopes . I did go on envelope calculator which did help but it would be easier with my memory board......if I had the measurements for the cards..... can you help me???? Thanks Donna Hall
Yes I have bought this punch board, and I like it, but am finding that measurements are not always accurate and envelopes do not always turn out 100% as you show in yours tutorial. Yes I do line up the score line and don't worry about measurements. Am I doing something wrong? Jo xx
Why is only one score measurement for the 5 X 7? It looks like 3 1/2 on one side and 4 1/2 on the other at 11:10 on the video. Don't non-square envelopes need two different measurements or is the second one always 4 1/2?
I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A EASY VIDEO TO MAKE ENVELOPES AND YEAH! I FOUND YOU. IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU LISTED THE NAMES OF THE ITEMS USED ON THE VIDEO AS A SNAP SHOT. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Pat Cheatham Hi Pat use the sizing on the board hun you cut the paper the size it says on the board and follow the directions :) let me know if you need anything else hun

Thank you for the correct A2 size envelope.
Cut Paper: 8 × 8
Score/Punch: 3 1/2

I'm also thankful for the correct A2 sizing instructions. I know I've played around, but now I don't have to get frustrated with the guess work.
I have had my Envelope Punch Board for 6 months at least and have been afraid of the measuring, etc. I've watched your easy-to-follow video and now have two perfect envelopes.
