Love Blackberry Smoke. Started listening to them a couple of years ago. Best Southern Rock around. Your lessons by the way are great. Nice to see this one.
Love this song. Beginner here and getting the intro riff felt super satisfying (although strumming is something I struggle with, so will need more time on that one.)
Another nice lesson. Blackberry Smoke is a great band. Not many lessons are out there for their music. Nice job ! "My Old Friend the Blues" would be another great lesson from them.
Merci je ne comprend pas l'anglais mais jai bien bien-aimé ce son pour un débutant comme moi c'est le top ,en plus en une matinée j'ai tout appris.thank you very much professor😏😏😏👍🏿👍🏿
Good lesson. Trying the correct timing now. I downloaded the lesson but can’t quite figure out how you’re doing the count. Start on 3 count, but what count is the first strum? Thanks Ron
Hey Ron! Great question, thanks for asking. This was tricky to explain in the lesson, as I did not want to over complicate it but also did not want to skip over it entirely. I would say the strumming start on the one count following the lead in riff, but in fact the one count is where you play just the bass note of the chord and the first full strum happens on the two count Uppercase words below are a full strum, lower case are a bass note only. (one) TWO AND (three) AND FOUR AND (one) AND TWO AND (riff riff riff riff) Hope that helps!
Song Notes That was perfect! Now if you’ll help get the song’s strumming going the stars will all be aligned. That’s a perfect song to learn intro bass notes and chord strumming at the same time..
Great lesson, was hoping to get more , tried your patreon thing, sorry way to complicated to figure out so unfortunately i will have to try elsewhere, and i got tired of looking for a way to contact you to try to resolve this. Disappointed to say the least
