  • Myles Rasmussen's 1970 Monte Carlo reminds him of his family. Memories of his dad and grandfather come to life in the sound of the 454 big block powering Myles, his wife, and his son, down the road. Driving is Myles' favorite part about his car, so he swapped out the Turbo 400 for a 4l60-E transmission for better cruising. Myles is looking forward to the day a few years from now when his son becomes the 4th generation to work on this car.
Myles started at Speedway Motors in the warehouse, and today is an E-Commerce Content Specialist.

Love this car. I love the 70 Monte Carlo also for the same reasons you mentioned. You seem like a great, humble dude. Congrats on your sweet ride and beautiful family. May you enjoy many years of cruising together.

A dream car for sure! And perfect too, not a show car but a driver! Make those memories!

The First Gen Monte Carlo's are the closest thing we have to a Cadillac Muscle car. Just the right mix of personal luxury and muscle 👍

Nice car and video ! My first car was a 70, back in 1984. Have a 71 I’m currently working on. Can’t wait to take it out when it’s done.!

Those are the nicest gauges I've ever seen! What are they/where can I buy them?

They are Dakota Digital RTX gauges. You can get them at Speedway Motors part number 365RTX70CCVLX.
