No hesitation seeing this last night and no regrets! Was surprised there was 9 people total in the theater. It's usually myself, a friend, and maybe two other people. Anyways, went in without expectations and enjoyed it. It was dark, it was gross, had a bit of a story, and it's the Poohniverse. 😂 Poor Tinkerbell. What a scene. Maybe a spin off with her and Lieutenant Dan? They have different and similar problems.
Watched it last night. Felt like it was a slasher where they just added some elements of Peter Pan. He didnt feel like a dark Peter Pan, or that there was anything magical about him really… It felt more like he was just a crazy guy.
There's ao much backstory, did we watch the same movie? He references his mom constantly and when hes naked in the mirror you can see the violemce he endured. He js killing kids to save them from pain. I LOVE this version of tinkerbell, this movie was wildly genuis. I expected to hate it but it was shockingly refreshing. Id rayher the grounded take instead of a full on cgi conjuring magical bullshit.
It was good, I have fundamentally disagreed with all of these "reviewers". He clearly ignored, wasn't paying attention, was talking to his friend un the theater OR was at home and half way paying attention because he got sent it for free to review. There was more backstory than I expected and the take on tinkerbell was amazing. I am glad they kept it grounded and realistic even if it was doe budget reasons. A true psychological horror flick as opposed to CGI magic that is never explained in a way that makes sense. Whereas the plot here 10000% does if you pay attention to the dialogue. I'm fine with people genuinely disliking it but most reviews are outright ignoring aspects and saying they aren't there or just seem to hate on it because everyone else is. Or the most common critique = it isn't "Peter Pan" enough. Which I find to be the most asinine critique of all. Go watch the Disney Version lol
That IT rip off scene is eye rolling. I haven't seen it. Not interested based off what I've seen/heard. Would have never guessed this was Peter Pan. Wheres his hat? Maybe he has it (havent seen it). These guys are trying to hard these movies should be easy to make more enjoyable imo.
@AustinBurke 🤣🤣🤣🤣😉 Trying to explain this whole ordeal to my girl, who's relatively new to outside mainstream horror, was a task. Couldn't sell it, so I had to go alone last night.
That’s the problem with this franchise. To make such a wacky premise work, you have to go all tbe way. But it’s not as fun, gory or well done as Terrifier, it’s not Serbian Film disturbing, storytelling is not good, it takes a lot of ideas from other movies, not really anything is that well executed… So it makes a very timid and forgettable watching experience because it doesn’t go balls to the walls. I mean we all know where Peter Pan and Pinocchio needs to go if you want to move the needle and get people talking in the low budget horror genre. You don’t have to do everything right but something needs to stand out from the rest. Wether it’s Leone, Rodriguez, or any good director doing low budget, you could tell talent was there and it was limited by the budget. Here, after 3 movies, still can’t see what are the strong points standing out.
Take a shot every time Austin says 'Poohniverse' 🥃
I saw the poster for this and I couldn’t wait for the YT reviews!
LOL

Another fantastic video; thanks!
Well, it’s not the first time that I’ve seen an evil Peter Pan. Once Upon A Time had Pan being a big bad and I liked the idea.
Check out the book if you never have; Peter is pretty much a psychopath.
I legit enjoyed Blood and Honey 2, so I'll keep on checking the rest of the Poohniverse movies lol
When I was too young to watch the movie and had just heard the name in passing, this is what I thought Pan’s Labyrinth was about.
Now can he really fly or levitate or is it just the drugs?
There’s only one Poona-verse for me but I can’t access it at work and that’s a damn shame.
😂😂
It kinda reminded me of it mixed with the black phone

I'm honestly hyped 😂
Is the movie “The Mean One” which is basically evil grinch any good?
No; terrible
Any plans for Sardar udham 2021 ???
Will I ever see this movie? Probably not, but I'm glad these movies exist for the sole reason that the label "Poohniverse" is now a thing, lol.
POOHNIVERSE!
Your a braver man than most Austin
Cant wait to see it...
I'm still waiting for the Bambi movie.
Honestly this looks like a fantastically terrible afternoon horror movie. I’m totally here for it 🤣

What scene?
"Pooh-niverse" makes me laugh everytime. Couldn't keep a straight face during my review 🤣
Why it's a thing, I'll never know.
😂😂 my favorite universe

POON
I watched Wolf Man.
3:07 for me if a movie kills a kid it just means they aren't playing around and anyone is at risk.

The Poohnaniverse
KY Fan?
Hardcore! And I live in Lex!
I know people are gonna disagree with me... but as far as I'm concerned, this movie trend bothers me much more than Disney live action remakes. 😅
I might disagree with that, but I don't disagree enough to argue over it, lol. They're both equally bad for their own unique reasons.
Meeeeh. At least these folks are intentionally destroying prior Disney iterations. Disney does it unintentionally 🤣
Wrong.
@@TolerTalks😮👏👍
Great review bro. Disney horror films should be cancelled.
Wait I haven’t watched yet, but judging by Austin’s face on the thumbnail, this is gonna be an F 😂
the movie was absolutely garbage! This was not peter pan or tinkerbell more like crackheads on drugs.💀
I'll skip this sick sh*t!
Lol
I was gonna say what is JD Vance reviewing the Poohnverse lol
