Hi there from Houston, I’m considering upgrading to a 1200 custom from an R3. Always wanted a Harley and being 5’11” I’m thinking this wood be a decent fit with the forward mount controls. I daily commute on fairy open highway to work about 25 miles each way. Awesome bike and set up. Any common issues or leaks you can tell me about this model would be greatly appreciated. When I get my Harley I’m definitely throwing these bags on the bike. Love the sissy bar. Peace, live to ride and ride to live.
Just installed a set on a 16 iron . While I agree the leather and bag quality was fantastic . They lacked quality control on the mounting brackets. Different bend points between the two brackets. For the price of them . They should be bolt on . Shouldn’t have to do any drilling whatsoever.

Curious but any reason you didn’t go w hard bags? I went w the traditional Harley hard bags. Seem a lot bigger than the Viking bags and not much more money. I’m in about 315 bucks went w black w black latches. I’ve got an 09 custom 1200.
I have a Warrior Model XL on mine for about 3 yr and are awesome. Good Quality on it.
