I attend the games on a regular even though i am from liverpool bolton have always been in my heart because my grandad used to take me as a kid the glory days ivan campo nolan JJ jaskelainan etc. Been going the game consistently the last 3 4 years. I don't want to slate evatt because he's done a tremendous job realistically. Took us from league 2, first top 10 first season, 5th the next, and then 3rd the following season. Won us the papa John's which isn’t exactly a champions league but its still a cup. I cant help but think that loss to oxford in the final has destroyed us. Mentally, physically. Just don't like the same team but also the tactics have got to be blamed also. This passing from the back it is not working....don't cut it out completely but change it up a bit. That 4th goal today was nothing short of a disgrace. If evatt went hes done a great job but it might be time for some new ideas.
This was us Hudds fans last season. I feel your pain mate. Great footage. Try supporting a good quality non league team as well as Bolton. That way you get two bites of the cherry. Me and my lad do Town and Emley AFC and have a great time supporting both. Good luck for the rest of the season. 👍🏼
Town fan here. Great vlog with you got going. Not as humiliating as you might think. A goal either side of half time is always a tough blow. That last goal though !! How do you pick the bones out of that ? Town were coming into this on the back of three stupid defeats - although two were in Mickey Mouse Cups (but no less dismal for that). Inevitable it would be a big comeback or a disappointing continuation. Fortunately it was the big comeback. I live down south and rarely get to games, as luck would have it I was driving past the ground at 10 to 3 on Saturday & still never got to see the match. Don’t think anyone at Huddersfield wants to see Bolton at that end of the table. I’ve got quite vivid memories of a cup match at Leeds Road in the 70s. Town in Div 4, Wanderers under Ian Greaves, with Sam Allardyce & Peter Reid playing & pushing for promotion to top flight. 27,000 there which seemed massive at the time. Remember buying a Green Sports paper outside the ground afterwards - it was the Bolton Evening News - Cheeky sods ! Happy Days.
That 4th goal though 🙈 I walked out early against Exeter, stayed til the end yesterday. Not sure why, maybe disbelief 🤷🏻♀️ Awful at the moment. On paper we have a good team but its just not working

Huston we have a problem! Sorry to say but last years squad was not as good as the season before when we had a brilliant young keeper and a right wing back that would grace any premier team, but sadly this season we have nowt...Even the CEO has seen the light and jumped ship!

When us pompey were down there last season they allocated us hardly any tickets with half the stands empty themselves, and then accused us of a lack of support 😂😂 Very happy to see Bolton getting a taste of karma. They walked with swagger last season and slagged off every other promotion club in the process.
