- A step by step guide on how to remove and replace the headlight units on a 2002 to 2009 Peugeot 206. The part number for the left headlight is 9630869780 and for the right side its 9630869680. Thanks boss , just took out two from an old car that were done replaced two good ones from a scaper all tacken out and replaced , both cars now working and all done in 2 hours .

Phew! Got there in the end what a faff just to do this ? Why do the French make what should be a simple job so long winded ?With this job I would keep a supply of Trim Clips, and an old soldering iron handy in case I have to do a bit of Plastic Welding to any plastic I break ! Any way a great detailed description .Thanks

Hello, very good video... luxury!... I have a Peugeot 206 1.9 diesel 2008, is it compatible with everything indicated?

I would assume they're made of plastic (Polycarbonate)
Got a really weird issue having replaced both headlight clusters. Neither dipped beam socket is working. Bulbs are fine, tried the old clusters and they no longer work on the dipped beam either. Also not the fuses which have separates for dipped and high beams. Any ideas?
It sounds like a blown fuse. Have you checked the fuses using this link ?. They seem to be in slightly different locations, depending on the year: fuse-box.info/peugeot/peugeot-206-1999-2008-fuses
@@screwsnutsandbolts Yeah unfortunately they’re both okay. It’s fuse 9 and 10 for left dipped beam and right dipped beam in the engine compartment fuse box. It’s a minor repair following a front collision so maybe something else is broken.
@@screwsnutsandbolts Turns out you need the engine running to have the dipped beams on this model. Problem solved! Thanks for the video

What a terrible design. The 208 is even worse. You have to remove the entire bumper. Meanwhile you can remove the headlights of VWs by unscrewing the top bolts and pulling them out. German engineering can be very simplistic, or very complicated in the case of some BMWs....but French and Italian engineering....so annoying.
A lot of manufacturers seem to think it's a good idea to hide the 3rd mounting nut/bolt out of reach behind the bumper. It doesn't make sense.
@@screwsnutsandboltsyesterday I had to take the whole bumper off of a seat just to access the final 2 bolts 💀
