This is the most movie accurate Deluxe we have ever gotten for Bumblebee. Other than the Movie Masterpiece and Battle Blades, this is the ultimate modern deluxe bumblebee. Im also certain that you can replace the right canon but cutting away at the pivot point for the canon arm to have it rotate 180 degrees
I still can't believe you people even use instructions. I was *8* years old when I was transforming my Revenge of the Fallen toys and I threw the instructions out with the packaging. And that's the truth. So I really don't see why the entire world is using instructions for such simple toys.

You can actually put the cannon with the yellow side down right, right before you close the back fender. It's a little snug but it holds it and one less part to lose.
There are rectangular peg holes on the sides, next to the rear wheels. and the blaster has a rectangular peg that fits right into it. its not in the instructions as I recall.
The side rear windows dangling off the doors are because the movie model has small wings made from those windows. Problem is in the movies they attach near 'Bee's spine, just below the base of the door wings. Additionally they're flipped around so the point attaches to his back and the wide end hangs down. They look wrong on the toy because they're upside down and hanging off the middle of the doors.
This figure really gives the vibe of those K.O toy companies that used up larger Transformer figure models (in this case, the MPM 03 Bumblebee) and then downsized and simplified the engineering.
Good god I remember playing with these in 2012. I had to "make room for christmas" by trashing them. I cried doing it. Now they have a bunch of simple ones for 7yos.
The wave one bumble bee has My up vote in my opinion.It has tighter joints,hell even a ratchet joint the thighs.It has a battle mask,a cannon in which you just flip out and not rip his arm out.The transformation is enjoyable in a way.The only thing that this figure has the superior,is that it's an new amazing mold.But not the most fun to play with.The alt mode for this one is also awesome.We just had high expectations.
Hey @chefatron I noticed on my figure the ankles secure well if you pinch the pieces on the slider hinge together after tabbing. Also there's a slot by the rear wheels where his blaster can attach in alt mode :)
bro i got my wave 3 bumblebee at rtoys and used nail polish to tighten the hips and foot shoulders its tight .this might help you for your bumblebee joints
I think I'm either gonna wait for it to go on sale, or better yet, buy a KO version. It's a sad world we live in where KOs are better than the original product.
I just got mine from Amazon yesterday and the feet tab in well and don't fall out that easy. And the doors aren't that loose either. Maybe Hasbro fixed it from the first copies in reviews?
Once you review Crosshairs, try attaching the guns to the roof of the car. There are two square holes that don't seem to have any function on either mode.

Honestly, I like a lot of these figures. Voyager Megatron is fantastic, Voyager Optimus is really cool, the new bumblebee, Crosshairs, barricade and berserker are great. But the quality control is horrendous. I've seen like 3 separate reviews for every figure and each one seems to have a different QC issue. Jesus.

Bumble bees feet are floppy but when I play with it I just reanact the first movie where he loses his feet. So I just flip his feet up to the back. It's the first bumblee bee figure that can do it..

You can store the weapon in vehicle mode, there's a tab next to the rear wheels that the weapon will plug into.

FYI there is a small hole on the running board where the gun can plug in to recreate the altmode shooting scene from the paris car chase.

You can put the cannon on the left or right side (better left) in the car mode.
You need to slide the feed all the way in for them to lock into place and not be floppy.
You can store it in vehicle mode on the yellow pics on the legs
The cannon can tab onto the small tab on the bottom left of the left side of the alt mode and vice versa

mine has a problem with the feet, they are not that strong, but they can be put together properly
Despite the flopiness, Id rather get this Bumblebee than a dumb remold and why not put floor polish maybe fix the flopiness
