Well the hooves look alot better then how they started but not gonna lie the structural integrity of the hooves themselves is a little concerning. Good work overall of course but due to the rot especially within that first foot i would be nervous to trim so much off the foot and then shoe it right after without letting the hoof grow out a little first so you could trim more later and seal the hoof to better prevent the hoof from rotting again. Again though glad to just see people out helping a poor donkey get back on his feet hopefully his feet continue to get better as time goes on

That is a horribly severe case of neglect! The feet have abscessed because of it. That poor donkey was in so much pain. When the internal structures of the hoof have abscessed and died very often flies will lay eggs in it and the larve (maggots) start eating the connective tissue, lamina. I have seen several cases of neglect this bad and typically the animals is also neglected in every other way and do not survive.

This farrier is extremely rough, he's supposed to hold on/grip the foot, not let it dangle while working on it, the poor donkey is already in great pain. I've watched other videos where they are more careful and compassionate while performing this job. This is painful to watch indeed!

Мы Кавказцы, срезаем мягкую часть стрелки, чуть ли не до появления крови. Между копытом и подковой, ставим прослойку как войлок так и из бычьей кожи , " временно". Для защиты стрелку от камней и неровностей дороги. Через несколько дней, когда уйдёт боль, перековываем. И ослику комфортно!.

And let's not forget to mention that he is pounding the s*** out of that animal's hoof and it is slamming his ankle into that metal post. Just imagine you having an infected fingernail or infected toenail and someone is putting a cast on it while they are slamming your ankle into a metal post with violent Hammer strokes. Poor animal couldn't walk because his ankles are badly bruised and bleeding. I just don't understand why they cannot inject these hooves with an antibiotic. At least once a month I would watch my friend showing his horses and of course manicuring them to the hilt and massaging their hooves with all kinds of potions to keep them healthy and strong. I don't think he would appreciate seeing this animal being tortured like this with the blows to the infected foot and smashing the poor animals ankle against the post is just absolutely insane pain to that animal.

The farrier has done as much damage to the animal by not securing the hoof correctly when trimming it with an electric plane and hammering nails in. No idea and brutal.
This farrier needs proper training and the correct tools,like a hoof knife. And it sounds as though somebody is having an argument in the background, to much noise I imagine the donkeys are terrified
Some of it is translation like saying the hoof is "sick" when that basically means any imperfection from thrush to abcesses to white line disease. I will also say other farriers in this country do a better job with the most basic of tools they do have and use their own table seats covered in tire tread as a place to rest the hoof for the trim job. This particular channel is one of the worst online for calling himself an old school master when he uses power tools. I've never seen any use a hoof knife or rasp, ever. I have seen better jobs on other channels however and normally avoid this one.
At least the donkey can walk normally after Mr. Ginsu shaved the hoof to normal stance. Sometimes you have to work with the tools and resources that you have on hand. This guy is not building a precision watch, he's just making the donkeys life much better than doing nothing about the lame walking situation. Wow. Poor workmanship on trimmers part. Lots of owners treat their work animals poorly. But the hoof guy needs to hold himself to a higher standard of care. If you asks the donkey i'm sure he'd say that its better than nothing. So while I'm glad he made the donkeys hooves shorter- he sure didn't do it any other favors. From the poorly shaped & fit shoe to the incomplete hoof prep. There are a few different power tools out there that take off lots of hoof quickly, but any fool can see how using a powerplaner in that fashion would snag and jerk an already irritated joint.

That is a horribly severe case of neglect! The feet have abscessed because of it. That poor donkey was in so much pain. When the internal structures of the hoof have abscessed and died very often flies will lay eggs in it and the larve (maggots) start eating the connective tissue, lamina. I have seen several cases of neglect this bad and typically the animals is also neglected in every other way and do not survive.

This farrier is extremely rough, he's supposed to hold on/grip the foot, not let it dangle while working on it, the poor donkey is already in great pain. I've watched other videos where they are more careful and compassionate while performing this job. This is painful to watch indeed!

I also though so, but since I'm not a farrier I did not want to comment. Surely if the donkey has bugs eating his hoof or fungus or whatever then medication should be applied? To think someone filmed and posted this because they are proud of their work is disgusting. They let that donkey return to the same terrible conditions that caused his agony.

Второе: почему не срезаешь мягкую ткань стрелки, ведь ослику доставляет ужасную боль, восполённое и " наростом" увеличенная стрелка.
Мы Кавказцы, срезаем мягкую часть стрелки, чуть ли не до появления крови.
Между копытом и подковой, ставим прослойку как войлок так и из бычьей кожи , " временно".
Для защиты стрелку от камней и неровностей дороги.
Через несколько дней, когда уйдёт боль, перековываем. И ослику комфортно!.

And let's not forget to mention that he is pounding the s*** out of that animal's hoof and it is slamming his ankle into that metal post. Just imagine you having an infected fingernail or infected toenail and someone is putting a cast on it while they are slamming your ankle into a metal post with violent Hammer strokes. The farrier has done as much damage to the animal by not securing the hoof correctly when trimming it with an electric plane and hammering nails in. No idea and brutal.
This farrier needs proper training and the correct tools,like a hoof knife.
And it sounds as though somebody is having an argument in the background, to much noise I imagine the donkeys are terrified
Some of it is translation like saying the hoof is "sick" when that basically means any imperfection from thrush to abcesses to white line disease. I will also say other farriers in this country do a better job with the most basic of tools they do have and use their own table seats covered in tire tread as a place to rest the hoof for the trim job. This particular channel is one of the worst online for calling himself an old school master when he uses power tools. I've never seen any use a hoof knife or rasp, ever. I have seen better jobs on other channels however and normally avoid this one.
This is very poor place in china, no proper training maybe even not graduate from high school(most of the people there).
The way this guy works is like a butcher doing a carpenter's job!
At least the donkey can walk normally after Mr. Ginsu shaved the hoof to normal stance. Sometimes you have to work with the tools and resources that you have on hand. This guy is not building a precision watch, he's just making the donkeys life much better than doing nothing about the lame walking situation. Wow. Poor workmanship on trimmers part. Lots of owners treat their work animals poorly. But the hoof guy needs to hold himself to a higher standard of care.
If you asks the donkey i'm sure he'd say that its better than nothing. So while I'm glad he made the donkeys hooves shorter- he sure didn't do it any other favors.
