    Would it be weird to ask “I love you”? I’m the QUEEN of all things DIY and have been putzing around with doing the moss poles out of only the really stiff pvc coated wire mesh. I kinda hate them with a passion at this point. So I started looking into buying those pre made plastic ones with the closed back but just cannot bring myself to pay THAT MUCH for the damn things. After your video I’ll only need to buy those plastic sheets as I have everything else already. Yay! You’re the absolute bestest! You’ve brought this plant hoarding lover of all things DIY much joy. Cheers!🤗
    PS-I love your glasses!! Great style, woman!❤️ 🌱
    Holy moly! I spoke too soon and didn’t notice the FABULOUS HAIR until you turned your back! Stunning💜

    I made my first pole after watching your videos and the plant put a little tendril in the moss before I even got around to attaching it! So sweet. Planning to switch to a more sustainable material also per your videos but figured I should use up the moss I already own. Thank you for your great content!

    if you run a water siphoning wick string in an upside down u through the moss and out the bottom you can either put the ends of the string in a bowl or down to the water resevoir under the leca to siphon water up to the moss so it wont dry out

      Thank you for your kind words and for watching and subscribing, much appreciated! Handling pests would be the same as for a plant not on a pole. The plastic sheet backing keeps the roots growing down and it also helps retain moisture.

    Hi Leca Queen, where do you get your double hole punch without the guard? The .8 mil plastic is hard to find, would .10 mil work? My D poles are going to be tall. I have watched you all day and can not find the hole punch or large enough plastic. I do have the green mesh and have made the round moss polls. The plastic is the problem, your link for Amazon, I'm a little confused. Could you plz give me the correct plastic description on Amazon that you use?

    Hi Nora - thank you so much for this. I have been reading about moss poles for a few weeks and thought I would attempt one this week. However I do have a couple of questions for you based on the Snow Queen you showed us in this video. 1) how to you make the holes that are running down the back of the pole, to put the cables around the external green pole you fixed to the back? and 2) what are the large holes in the back of the plastic backing on the Snow Queen? You didn't explain why they were there and how you made them. I was wondering if they were something important I had to do with mine? Any advice? And thanks again!

    • @suehickton1047
      @suehickton1047 ปีที่แล้ว

      oh sorry - and what were the 2 holes for at the top and the bottom you suggested we add for? You didn't mention this (I went through a few times but it is entirely possible my brain is broken from a long week at work). Also, if you put the green pole on the back like the Snow Queen and put THAT in the Leca instead of the soft wire wouldn't that help it be more stable than the wire? Sorry totally trying to such everything from your fabulous tutorial (and looking to emulate your plants of course! :))
