My aim is to create honest reviews based on my experiences of the air rifles and accessories that I've used. They may not be to everyone's liking as I'm not here to simply promote everything I get my hands on. I'm here to tell the truth, plain and simple.
This time it's the turn of Kral Arms' Mortal PCP in .22 sub 12 ft lbs. Is it as good as Kral's Hi-Cap? Watch to find out.

thanks for the honest review👍
You're welcome! All the best and thanks for watching
Really enjoying mine. About to take it out tomorrow for a bit of plinking. The high capacity magazines are terrific.
I have a Mortal after seeing a South African guy on TH-cam getting nearly pellet on pellet at 50m....I have found mine to be just as accurate and shooting at my maximum indoor range of 35 yards I am getting excellent groups. It doesn't see pellet picky either. I've fitted some extras like a Magpul stock, Donny fat Boy silencer as it is loud...and some other small details that just make it mine. Mine is the FAC version shooting at just under 40 joules, so certainly that could make a big difference to this cool little carbine.
I bought my kral mortal a few months ago for £340 second hand, and I love it, I did fit m-loc picatinny rails to mine for a torch and a bipod with no problems,it also came pre-fitted with a Foster fitting by the previous owner which is fine except the cover cap doesn't quite sit flush although it does stay on,I also changed the mags for armstar after market mags which are miles better and only cost £22.95 each. The only negative with it for me has been the low shot count, but that I can live with😁
It's no secret that I like Krals. But some are better than others. Glad you like yours but I find it more hold sensitive than the Hi-Cap or other puncher series. All the best and thanks for taking the time to comment.
The issue with the grouping at 31m isn’t the rifle but is your face position on the stock. Stop moving ur cheek off the stock between shots and cock it while ur still in position. Ur alignment is not consistent so the errors are due to ur parallax inconsistency.
If that's the case, no one would ever be able to group shooting a springer??? Thanks for taking the time to comment, but I have to disagree with what you're saying... casing point, watch my review on the HW100 and tell me my technique is wrong. All the best
My local dealer wanted £35 for spare mags, which I thought wasn't too bad, but Ramsbottom's are selling original Kral mags for £17.50 ea. Give the Air Arms Diablo Hunter a go my Kral really likes them. I'd add a pic rail with mloc to that fore-stock, it would stiffen it up and allow a bipod.
My pellets fly at around 800ft with 18gr. But I am not in the UK. It is set on the lowest setting. I can probably get around 1000ft, but that is not necessary as I don’t think it will improve accuracy.
This gun looks amazing, but I could see the gun moving with your breathing in the earlier test, the low shot count as well does not help so I think the X version maybe better? Also the fact I could not 3D print an adapter to have the bipod further down the barrel totally lost me on this. It was a consideration and if the shroud was not soft I would have made an adapter but the Dazzle won.
The amount of flex in the butt section is totally unacceptable at any price point
I'm not a fan of these stocks. The machining could be much better but then I guess the price would be pushed up considerably. All the best and thanks for taking the time to comment
Agree that’s a real shame because otherwise it’s a good looking bit of kit.

The stock is wobbly but I have changed mine...problem is that the 'buffer tube'...or stock post in this case is plastic, as is the whole stock hinge assembly. I shimmed it with a sliver of aluminium and it doesn't move now....just where it locks in to the slot. But yes, that is one 'weak point' of the Mortal. Great little gun though.
What's the difference between this and the X model? besides diameters and cylinder..does x have better accuracy?which one do you guys suggest?
Hi and sorry for the late reply. Simply put, the X has a longer barrel and a longer cylinder. It is said that longer barrels can provide more accuracy but there is a limit to this. There is a fine balance between length of barrel, twist rate and power. I haven't shot the X, so I cannot say if it is more accurate. All the best, thanks for watching and asking your question
The 22 caliber likes JSB 18gr. The barrel is very pellet sensitive. Also try a silencer as it improves accuracy. I also think that due to the power limits in the UK, the natural environment will impact results. It likes to be fired at higher power and speed. For the price, the results are very good. Another thing, spend time behind the scope. The shooter makes a difference. Also, weigh your pellets. If you are not using the exact same weight, then it isn’t a fair test. With accuracy tests I see reviewers pulling pellets out of the tin and hoping they all weigh the same. Not fair. Also, you are to clean he barrel after each test.
I know it is crazy, but I shoot competition and I weigh all my pellets. You will be surprised that even the top manufacturers have a few in the tin that are way out. When shooting groups or single shot targets, then the pellets must be exactly the same weight and size as the pellet shot before and after. I only shoot pellets at are within 5000 o a gram as a group for competition. Painful to weigh them, but you will get 5 pellets through the same hole (almost) at 30m if the pellets weigh exactly the same.
the one i have the part that connects the barrel to the air cylinder pulled the barrel off --- until I discovered this it was awful -- once found and worked on it was nice, but should never allowed out the factory as the part was obviously warped
Excelente video y muy buena explicación,, 👏👍🇪🇦
Has the barrel been cleaned...?..just asking..😮..
Hello and yes the barrel was cleaned before I started shooting it. All the best and thanks for watching

Not a good advert for the pellets
Your definition of the word ergonomics isn't correct. It means the efficiency and comfort of use.
Which best defines ergonomics?
"Ergonomics is a holistic term that primarily refers to the overall process of arranging a workplace, systems, and equipment in a way that makes it easy for people to use them."
Safeties create as many issues as they solve , 10m match rifles/pistols cannot have a safety under Olympic rules - food for thought ?
But they're also restricted to sub 6 ft lbs
Cheap gun & cheap pellets, what do you expect 🤷🏼♂️
