Nice video man. Same color bike and i used spray bottle with water. The same one as yours wouldn’t immediately evaporate the water but the other 3 would evaporate the water instantly. I ordered my coil packs going to go ahead and replace all 4.
Great video same problem another test you can do with the coils is just put the spark plug and coil to the frame and just look for the spark your self don’t touch it or the frame I shocked tf out of myself lol
@@AndreychukAndrey My bike ran fine for over an hour while i was out on a countryside ride. When accelerating from a stop light, the bike 2006 zx6r 636 immediately lost power and accelerated 1/3 of the normal pace. Exhaust started sounding like a v twin/sv650 etc. I tested the resistance on the coils. The primarys read out 2.1, 1.8, 2.8, 1.8. I ordered two new coil pack sticks and plan to replace 1 and 3 because they were the furthest away from "normal" impedance range of 1.3-1.6 . Wish me luck, they are in the mail now. Thanks for the video sir!
i had the shop do a valve adjustment, now they are saying there is a rattling noise coming from the motor. They think the engine might need to be rebuilt.
@@AndreychukAndrey Here is the full story. I had them replace the spark plugs last winter storage. Soon as i picked it up i noticed a rattle coming from the left side towards under the tank. (like a lose bolt) i could hear it going over bumps and when i tap the tank on low fuel. So i took it back like 5 times they couldn't figure it out. i gave up and just kept riding it. Then towards end of the season the bike started jolting and stuttering 8k rpm, i would have the let go of the throttle and ease back in to it. So since i was gonna store the bike there in the winter again, i figure id wait another couple weeks and then tell them to do a valve adjustment. Which they did. They did all the tests and so on. They said the valves were tight so they fixed it and now there is a rattling noise coming from the motor. They want 2500$ to rebuild the engine but cant do it until the winter time. So now my only option is to either try to sell it or keep it in the garage until i come up with a better solution.
Nice vid. I got this similar problem right now with mine couldnt tell what it is but it happened right after I got caught in the rain. I assumed it was water in the gas tank somehow since water in the tank can produce similar problems, and last year I did manage to have water in the tank due to a corroded gas tank cap I replaced, so I put some HEET fluid in their and I'll test it out tomorrow but if its not that then its probably this problem here (coils or plugs). Got that same Twobrothers exhaust
Did you ever figure it out ? I had an issue where a line came undone going to my carb ( bit older style bike mines a 99* that fixed my issue thought it was water or plugs / coils aswell but now I have another issue where it sounds like running on only 1 or 2 cylinders if wasn't this iseu3 what fixed ur issue ?
hay bro I noticed that working on your motorcycle isn't your specialty and I could give you suggestions that would make your life easier. I remember you mentioned that your hose was cracked and you didn't want to cut it because it would be too short. Well FYI that could cause your starter to work harder in order to start it. What would you like to replace a starter or a hose? lol. Most gas motors no matter weather it's a car or motorcycle needs to have a completely closed and sealed system in order to operate other important accessories that is needed to run like your bike or car like your idle, the temp sensor or maybe the butterfly in the exhaust pipe. (That may or may not be true I'm just making a example.) Somethings need vacuum in order to work and some things need higher psi. So be careful what you recommend to beginning riders that are looking for advice to work on there bikes they could get stuck because of the advice isn't completely accurate and cause a problem that makes them pay a mechanic a lot of money for something simple I'm saying this because I'm broke I don't know a lot about motorcycles and I look here for info to upgrade or fix problems that I can't ask anyone else or so try not to lead people with bad habits. On the other side I noticed you saying a few things that I don't see other's don't say and can be very good habits to follow like make sure you put all the bolts back where they come from I cant remember what they are and I'm not going to look for them lol but keep up the good work. good luck and if you need advice on your bike let me know ill help or point you to someone that knows more than I do. This BIKE LIFE is more that bikes its helping others and having fun so if I can help let me know brah!!!!!! brah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keep two wheels down and your head on a swivel peace biker fam 🏍🏍🏍🏍🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🔥🔥🔥🔥
I just experience in my zx-6r 2005 model that sometimes suddenly loose power specially when hot.. throttle was suddenly nothing then after a second it will be back. What would be the problem...and also I noticed that it was hard starting during cold start, you need to apply throttle while starting..thanks in advance
Did you check carb lines or and lines heading to fuel system mine that's a 99 was a vent line came off Did the exact same thing as you said was a $.50 cent clamp fix

Update: replaced the ignition coils and my bike is working like it should…thanks for the video

Nice! Didn’t even think of a temp gun! I’ll try that next, already did plugs. Hoping it’s not my valves.

Great help, thank you sir
I just got a 2024 zx6r and it redlines at 130mph while in full tuck 6th gear. I wonder if this is also the issue?
What did the bike do before? Doesn't pass certain rpms? Started only with throttle? Mine doesn't pass certain rpms when hot
No it still goes but lacks in power. Noise is different from exhaust.
When I give throttle the bikes builds up speed slow.

At what mileage did you get the valve adjustment?

It's a same bike what I have? What's the mileage?
@@AndreychukAndrey i think around 32k. so did you fix it? is the rattling from the valves?
@@mcturk17 Do you think maybe it's your cct rattling? I did a video on that.
Nice work!
At this point I'ma just have to buy a new fuel pump, coils and ecu lol my problem is one of the 3 but I can't narrow it down to one
Same honestly
before you did anything when you revved the bike in neutral or in gear was it bogging down?
No just sounded like a 650
Did it backfire any with the slow acceleration?
I don't remember.
WOW thank you so much vare good video bud i will be doing this
Thx man ❤
Hey man do you have any vids of how it was before you fixed it?
No sorry I should have recorded before the fix.

It sounded like a Ninja 250 or a Ninja 650.
No need to replace any parts

@@bradcordick5358 so your bike is runing on two cilinders. Runs on 1 an4 or 2and3 ?
@ivan vukovic it was actually just a vent line that was off so was getting too much air 35cent clamp and it was fixed
