Love this tutorial Thankyou so much for making it 💕, but I’m really struggling to find the app you used, I’ve downloaded loads called pixel art maker/ pixel editor and I can’t find the exact one your using. Is there any chance you could post a link for it on the App Store please
@@spookypie7738 💙😔 oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that it may be unavailable in some countries. Hopefully you can find a similar app and if not you can create a grid in excel or even use graph paper 💕
💙 I do but I’ve noticed it’s not available for some. If it’s not available to you I believe there are a couple other apps similar. Here’s the link to the one I use: apps.apple.com/ca/app/pixel-art-maker/id897806469
💙😔 gosh I’m sorry, there might be similar apps. The colouring apps have a feature where you can import an image and it will pixel it for you and if you are tech savvy you can create a grid on excel
💙 Hello 👋🏻 When pixelating a photo I recommend using the free website www.pixel-stitch.net All you need to do is upload your image, select the width & how many colours and checkmark the “show grid” option
I love your tutorials the problem with this app it's only for iPhone users, it's not available for Android like me. I'm looking for something similar if I finding it I let you know!!! 💓💓💓😍😍😍🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
💙 Usually an estimate based on the pattern….for example, I know 22 larks head knots fit comfortably on a 12 inch (30cm) wooden dowel. So with that knowledge I can determine that I can either make a pattern with 22 squares across in width (using both cords together as the filler cords for my knots) OR I can create a pattern with 44 squares across the width and tie my vertical double half hitch knots on each cord in the larks head knot So to determine the length of the project I either judge it by how many knots are across my pattern and I make my cut based on the grid OR I cut it to how long I want the wall hanging to be altogether and the fringe will just correspond to that length I hope that makes sense…? Sometimes it’s easier to use some scrap cords and attach onto your support dowel/branch to see what fits and then develop your pattern from there Hope that was helpful 💙

Hi! Thanks so much for this tutorial! I was trying to figure out how to make a star with a grid pattern.
I would be very interested in a pattern for a Penn State Nitney Lion. Would like to make one for my son in law for Christmas. Thank you so much.
Very interesting and useful ! Congrats and best wishes
💙 Thanks! It’s how I create most of my VDHH patterns

Thank you so much for sharing this app and patterns. ♡
Mam... please make video on... picture to pixel pattern...exert ratio.... because i try it's not look like pattern... only boxes show that
Just found your channel and I love! Can I used the app for making projects that use different knots such as square etc?
💙 Thank you! Welcome to my corner of TH-cam 🤗 Unfortunately no, this app is specific for grid patterns
@@SimplyInspiredbySheena ok! I’ll have to try it out! I’m new to macrame so this is all very exciting

Thank you for sharing! Does each square on the paper represent the exact amount of squares that have to be made?
💙 Yes that’s right, each square is one vertical double half hitch in the colour thats represented 😊

how do you determine from this how long each string needs to be? or how much string you need in general
