    So cute! And we can almost feel the softness of its fur. I admire your patience in using the vertical hitch along a whole piece, ugh!:)

      💙 I totally understand…this butterfly banner tutorial of mine might be more helpful to watch. I realize it’s a different pattern but it’s the same exact method on a smaller grid size which made it easier for me to demonstrate…it’s also a newer video of mine which means my teaching skills have improved. Here is the link to that video th-cam.com/video/qKyerrTkr3c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yXW_5qrgw39VvRNh
      Also…you totally got this! 💪🏻 I know pixel macrame looks complicated but it’s actually quite beginner friendly. The only two knots you need to know is the larks head knot and your vertical double half hitch
      Good luck and happy macrame-ing

    My dowel is a branch about an inch in diameter. Will that need more cord to go around it?

    • @SimplyInspiredbySheena
      @SimplyInspiredbySheena  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      💙 No you should be fine. I always leave a little wiggle room in my measurements. It just means you might have a little less to trim off at the end 🤗

    So I have a friendship bracelet account and they have patterns to follow similar to this called alpha patterns so Is there anything like this for macremr patterns?! Because I have been searching for a macreme version to find patterns to create larger alpha macraweaves...!?

    • @SimplyInspiredbySheena
      @SimplyInspiredbySheena  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      💙 Hello, I just answered your question in my Facebook group but I’ll answer it again here in case someone else might like to know.
      There really isn’t very many patterns like that that’s specifically designed for large macrame wall hangings.
      However, you can use alpha patterns as it’s the same concept.

    Do you think this would work ok with 4mm cord?

    • @SimplyInspiredbySheena
      @SimplyInspiredbySheena  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      💙 Yes that will probably be fine as long as your faux fur yarn is roughly the same thickness. You want your knots to be as close to a perfect square as possible (just like your grid pattern), otherwise it distorts your final image

    Podrías poner las medidas en centímetros de cada cordon y cuando cordones?? Gracias

      💙 hello 👋🏻 this pattern uses 21 - 40inch (102cm) 3.35mm single strand cotton cord
      I don’t have the measurements for the working cords because I recommend using a length that you are comfortable with (I personally like to use my arm span which is roughly 60 inches or 152cm). The reason why it’s not important to have a specific length for working cords is because once you run out of length all you need to do is attach a new piece just like you did at the start of the project. Just ensure you have a small roll of rope and a ball of yarn for the faux fur. You will definitely have extra leftover once you are finished
      Hope that helps. Happy macrame-ing 🤗
