And he sews, too. Mind blown. I've just started a build based on a low-mileage 1997 Honda Valkyrie. I just want to tell you your Sabre Cafe series has been nothing short of inspirational, and educational. Plus, you have cats! I know I'll be referring back to several of these episodes during my build. Thanks again for the great videos, and Shamus the cat, and I'll soon be watching your CB750 series next.
I picked up on the series at around episode 6 and I've been addicted ever since. Well done, you've done a fantastic job, you're an inspiration. Have a great December, Happy Christmas and see you in the New Year.
Whew !! ... I watched all these 29 episodes in one sitting, pausing only to eat and visit the bathroom. ... I think I'm gonna take a little beak, too! ... What I learned is that you CAN execute your explicit vision, if you are patient and relentless. ... Thanks.
Ooh, thanks for covering the upholstry process like this. Crazy useful resource for down the road, since most videos stop before they really even finish the fiberglass.
Watched the entire series, love how the bike turned out! You're a very good teacher, your "hacking" abilities allow you to do more with less, and to explain how things work, and the 'why's of what your are doing.
The bike turned out sweet! Glad to see it finished, and can't wait for the cb build. No one else really covers their whole builds in detail and teaches as much as you, thanks for doing such a great job.
So I got the idea that I wanted to do a Cafe Racer and stumbled on your build vids. In the past 2 days I've watched all 29 episodes. You did an awesome job on this build. Great work! Can't wait to go check out your other stuff now!
So Fricking Amazing! I enjoyed every episode, thanks very much for sharing everything. I didn't think it was all going to come together at times. I'm extremely impressed how it turned out and I love the color!
Your the best, its so great to see the final product. I absolutely cant wait to see the cb750 unfold but please enjoy your vacation, you deserved it. Iv been planing on buying an old vintage honda (if dreams come true a CB305) for sometime now and would really appreciate some videos on things to look for and watch out for when buying an old vintage bike.
It's been a while since I checked on this build and pleased to see it getting close to completion. Makes me wish I had my old shed back, or better still a lovely big workspace like yours. I'm sure I'd be recovering better from my surgery etc if I still had at least my old shed to potter around in and do stuff, but I'm getting closer to being back on my bikes again, and getting fixed what needs to be fixed on some when the weather gets a bit better.
I've watched this build I believe since the second or third video. I found this build while looking for fiberglass tips. Dean, it's a beautiful bike, and I'm glad you love it. Can't wait for the *slightly warmer weather. Great work, and thanks for posting your journey with this bike. It's been awesome watching every step come through to fruition. You rock man!
Well done. I thought the project would never end but you got there. Love the paintjob and colour scheme too. So much creativity went into this bike. You can start racing from cafe to cafe now......
It's May 2021 and I'm just seeing this now.The bike looks fantastic after so much work.I am going to watch your next build even though it will have been finished long ago.Congratulations from Northern Ireland and thank you again for putting this up.
MAESTRO!!! This was the BEST, the most COMPREHENSIVE, and INSPIRING Cafe Racer Video I have ever watched. I found your video today and watched all 29 episodes non stop (better than David Lynch Twin Peek I watched non-stop). I hope to see you this year at Bull City Rumble!!! This serie was sooooooo good that now I now what to do with all my projects: '57 Chevy Pick Up truck, '71 Moto Guzzi Ambassador, and '05 Moto Guzzi Breva. Thank you, thank you very much!!!
Fantastic, thanks for sharing. Always been a classic Brit bike guy all my life, owned BSA A10 Super Rocket and Norton Commando, always hankered for a CB750 Cafe Racer, so looking forward to following your next project. I really enjoyed watching. Chris
This series is such an inspiration. Though I've only been tuned in the last month or so, I still enjoyed my marathon catch-up viewing and waiting for the new episodes each week! I learned so much from your videos and will be putting much of that knowledge to use on a cb550k that I'm picking up in a few weeks. Definitely looking forward to the CB750 build and very glad I subscribed! Keep on hackin' and ride safe!
Great video and brilliant series !! I loved following this as I want to build a Cafe Racer as a 2nd bike, and nobody seems to cover a build like you do, everybody just has a 1or 2min piece on the final product. Learnt a lot during the series, so thank you, and have an awesome and well deserved December and festive break !! Looking forward to the next build !!
Just got a 1984 700cc Honda Sabre down here in Central America. I am looking to a more retro look, 70`s perhaps. After watching your videos, I think you are the most qualify person to ask for a word of advice. Nice work on your bike, Luis.
Great project, fantastic set of videos on it too. Very in depth. Patience and determination, two great qualities which shine through in your videos. Thanks for sharing, look forward to your next bike project. looks like I'll be scouring through your other videos in the meantime. Great finished bike.
Bike Looks AWESOME!!! and sound great! Thanks for letting us all in on the build. You have been a big inspiration to me. Am still building my 82 Silverwind but have learned a loot from you. Have fune and cant weight to see the CB 750 build.
Stumbled onto your channel while researching build ideas for my 1976 CB550. I'm taking it vintage racing, starting in May, and I am way behind. Beautiful work, well done! I must also commend you on how little you swear while working on the bike. My dog won't even hang out in my bike shop with me. Enjoy the ride!
I've loved all of this watched just about every vid. Seeing you on that bike is fantastic. Stay warm! I took a quick ride yesterday and here in Minnesota it was about 8 degrees! All the best!
merry x-mas and happy new year to you ,if we dont see you before....thanx for the show and looking forward to see the 750 build as its my favorite bike!!!
Awesome!!!! ive watched all 29 episodeds of this V45 sabre proyect!!!! incredible work!!!! im from Venezuela, im kind of a DIY guy too!!!! ive really enjoyed your work!
Impressive work on everything. Really liked the seat work and the sewing. I had a sewing machine way back and it kept breaking needles and getting all tangled up from heavy material like you were using. I eventually sold it since it didn't seem well suited to what I needed it for. Maybe I'll get another one sometime.
ok dean, ive watched this build series 3 times and will watch it even more times. that tail section is art. what a fantastic job. im doing my 80 cb750 and thanks for all the great ideas and the real tv. ive watched all your vids. thanks for all your great work!
Excellent build, looks amazing, but you need to hear that sweet V-four sound, a nice and loud race exhaust would finish this bike off sweet. Looking forward to the CB750 build. Ride Safe Roy
It's been amazing to watch the transformation of this bike - loved every minute of it and learned so much! ( even though it hurt to watch you staple your lovely painted seat! ). Have a great holiday and new year :)
Hello Dean. I just loved seeing every week how your work in progress. I've been learning lot of things and for sure I'll apply somme of your techniques. I wish you a merry christmas and I'm waiting for your next project. Thanxs a lot and enjoy your holidays..... Xav
Loved following your progress with this bike. Looking forward to the next one. Have a great December, happy holidays and look forward to seeing your next video!! Regards Col.
Amazing project start to finish, Can't wait to see some more projects like it in the future. Have a great Christmas and New Year, Thank You for all the great videos.
I've got to say, I've followed this project from the very beginning and love the whole thing. The colors look good on the bike. Me, I'd have gone with more a bright green/blue but excellent job on this and look forward to the CB750 in January!
wowwwwww great build!!! i'm going to redo my upholstery on mine now. i definitely have that folded look on mine since i redid it. i'm excited for the cb750!!!! I fixed my brother up an xj750 '82 and am STILL trying to convince him to let me..... you know.... chop it in half n'shit. this series was quite the inspiration
Looks awesome. Watched all the videos from the start. Great editing/dedication to show every step along the way. Things I think you could still do to it for future videos: black accents on the wheels, aftermarket exhaust! All of the hard work you put into it really shows. Amazing bike. Nice job
Low octane!! Hahha I just binged watch this whole serise Over the past two days after acadently finding your channel after searching Honda trail 70. I watch your video because it had the old Honda trail 70 as a picture for the video link at the bull city rumble last year and I remeber seeing your bike there. I found a trail 70 and might be doing a rebuild with some cafe bike hints in it and would love to enter it in that show! Any ways glad I found your channel learned some really neat new tricks that I can not wait to try!
Watched all 29 episodes and I have to give you kudos on your production quality! I have been spoiled. Sub'ed and I can not wait for till the CB750 build! Enjoy your time off!
Awesome series, Dino! Looking forward to the next build in 2014. Thanks for sharing all this great knowledge with us. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The shot they got of you riding looks great. Put a big shit eating grin on my face seeing it finished. Crazy how good that seat turned out, love the coolant can. Great project. Take a break, hack some gizmos, you deserve it. Thanks for the video adventure.
Very cool looking bike. Looking forward to the cb build. I have a 1982 cb650 nighthawk that I'm going to bobber. Thing is, I don't have a clue what I'm doing (first timer) so thanks for sharing you knowledge. Take care
I love this bike! I prefer it without the fairing. I bought an '82 CB 650 and would love to turn it into a cafe racer. I thought of adapting the RYCA kit to work on a Honda, but watching your series on the V45 I think I can do it! I'd love it to be silver with maybe black and red accents. Thank God I found your channel!
Looks beautiful! Thanks for showing the full build. I learned a lot from your fiberglass work. And thanks for taking along us on the ride!
Love the build and your cat!
Engines, electronics, upholstery, fabrication....is there anything you can't do Dean? You are a true craftsman and an inspiration to all.
Enjoy the break, you deserve it. Looking forward to the CB750 build.

Ooh, thanks for covering the upholstry process like this. Crazy useful resource for down the road, since most videos stop before they really even finish the fiberglass.
