Ive been doing this for years...as soon as the trailer hits the ramp, shift your automatic tranny into Neutral, when youre where you need to be, set the park brake, release the service brake, then shift to Park. Leave the window open! Sometimes lock actuators can lick you out!
According to the internet (which never has any inaccurate info on it) a GMC Sierra bed is 79.4” long x 71.4” wide x 22.4” deep, and when I check my goesinta tables that comes out to about 73.5 cubic feet, or just under 550 US gallons, minus say 5 gallons per side for wheel wells, and call it about 540 gallons. And at about 10 pounds per gallon for water, the bed starts with about 5400 lb of water in it as they try pulling it up the ramp. No chit man, that’s pretty heavy!
5:08 it's easy to calculate the amount of gallons of water in a square or rectangle container. in inches, L x W x H and divide that figure by 231. I was in the aquarium business for 20+ years of my 50 years alive so I often had to calculate the gallons of water in an aquarium.
I have always been told when you were launching or retrieving a boat to always have your vehicle in four-wheel-drive. That way when you put the vehicle in park, it puts the front and rear axles both in park.
... well, after anchoring nearby, I like to go to the harbor in the evening to watch how mostly elderly men and their wives try to moor their 10m boat, ... here in northern Germany we call this "Hafenkino" ("harbor cinema"). This usually takes place with wild shouting and even wilder waving between the spouses, ... and rumor has it that the separation rate usually rises sharply at the end of a sailing season ...
In case of doubt about whether or not alligators are present in the water in Florida….go to the waters edge….touch it and if it feels wet……there are alligators in it….have fun ….swim briskly
They dish out licenses for these things way too easily, some of these people belong no where near a boat… Truck beds can hold anywhere between 250 and 400 gallons of water depending on the size of the bed.
This was the best one ever Alfred!!!! We got shit flying everywhere!!! Trucks sinking, boats ramming docks, chicks being chicks, and best of all..... Fred!!!!!! He was drunk bragging hes getting a new truck soon!!! He said the next time some idiot sinks one hes taking over!!!😮😮😮
For that submerged black GMC pickup, you asked how much water would the bed hold - here ya go! 1 cubic foot of water is 7.4 gals. So a truck bed for example GMC Sierra 1500 would be ~6.6x5x2 feet = 66 cubic feet = about 480 gallons of water!
Half ton pick up 6 x 6' bed 36 inches deep holds a little over 800 gallons of water which the weight is over 5600 pounds In the cab probably holds 600 gallons of water
Water weighs 8lbs per gallon. You think only 60 gallons will fill a truck bed? Lol. Look at a 150 gallon fish tank. You think only 1/2 of one of those will fill a truck bed?
At 15:15, the guy falls in the water, nobody at the helm, props running, they all scatter to the edge to see if he's okay, and one idiot playing on his cell phone. Unbelievable.
How much water in pickup truck bed? Just measure length x width x height in inches, divide the result by 231 cu. in. per gallon and you have your answer.
Why don't boat owners understand how a boat trailer works instead of driving way too far into the water. In the tropics it helps a lot having a longer section before the bow stop so your wheels are not in slime nor under water, that is ridiculous.
How anyone can sink an entire tow vehicle at a ramp mystifies me. Absolute incompetence with a vehicle. One can only imagine what they're like with a boat.
I live on the golf coast, And? I am an avid boater, And I swear I hope I never end up on your show At least not the Laughing stock that I love😅😅😅 Because. I love the content its funny AF
Wow, but well said "it can happen to any of us". My ebrake won't hold in my 2019 3/4 ton chevy so eventually the "park" paw in my tranny will wear out and down my truck goes. But jeez some of the boat operators are just plain dangerous and destructive.
That actually looks like a crocodile and not a alligator. If it is a crocodile it should be relocated because they are way more aggressive towards humans than alligators.
“Members only doo doo doo dooooo”” 😂.
“Just giggle like you always do and pretend it’s a giggle moment guys” 😂😂
That was hilarious!! the guy yelling that's the CHIT SHOW😂😂😂😂
When in doubt give it full throttle
A standard GMC truck bed is approximately 6.5’ long, 6’ wide, 1.5’ deep and will hold approximately 525 gallons or 4380 lbs of water.
One of your best so far.
Please film many unexpected scenes at the marina. I love it
It never ceases to amaze me with how many incompetent people are out there
U mean in Florida 😂😂
Those type of people love Florida
@@03roadking
It does seem to be. LoL
Including the cameraman
My favorite channel right now. Along with wavy boats and Miami boat ramps + few others

I haven't seen your videos come up in a while! Great video Alfred!
I just love this Chit !!!

Can't beat the Chit Show

16:45 as I was typing my question about “whisky throttle” you answered my question lol

15:12 EVERYONE ON THEIR PHONES while captain does everything & falls in water. GOOGANS
I would have a rule and everyone would know it before stepping one foot on my boat. You get a ride on my boat, YOU LEND A HAND!
Holy Chit Show! You are makin fans in Alaska!

You asked about truck bed size For a 2024 they are:
78.9" L
50.6" W
21.4" H
Total volume = 62.3 cubic feet.
(For a 6.5 foot bed)
Water in the bed of the trucks -
Short Bed (5.8 feet): 342.76 gallons = 2,859.64 pounds
Standard Bed (6.6 feet): 391.33 gallons = 3,263.72 pounds
Yeah, let 'em drain as you go...
Standard bed is 8 feet.
In case of doubt about whether or not alligators are present in the water in Florida….go to the waters edge….touch it and if it feels wet……there are alligators in it….have fun ….swim briskly
Ol boy in blue at 1:28 has got a beer gut damn
Agreed. When is he due? Looks like triplets.
Ballast😂😂
That looks like a Miami car wash at the bout ranp
"bout ranp" That is actually impressive.
Every time you see someone fall in the water, you should yell “THE CROCODILE IS ROGHT NEXT TO YOU” then see how fast he swims.
This is the most beautiful footage EVER!!
8:12 polarized, lens cap Alfred, my friend you can do it! Love the chit show! The polarized lens cap will take it to the next level

Half ton pick up 6 x 6' bed 36 inches deep holds a little over 800 gallons of water which the weight is over 5600 pounds
In the cab probably holds 600 gallons of water
Depending on bed length it will fill with approximately 540 gallon or 4500lb of water alone. Let alone inside the cab
🌵🌵💀💀👍👍🌵🌵 LOVE THE CHIT SHOW !!! Thx Bro !!!
Alfred, it looks to be a short box GMC, so that is 62.9 cu. ft. which works out to be 470 gallons of water.
I love to see that people bring lawn chairs to the dock😂
Thus is some funny chit 😂
So apparently the number one cause of flooded trucks in Miami isn’t hurricanes, it’s boat ramps?
TRULY ENTERTAINING! IT JUST IS !
Is there something about black point that makes it more difficult than a typical launch?
5:01 never buy used cars out of Florida
around 480 gallons in the pickup bed!!
Sounds about right

@@carstoniu What would fit in a 8-ft. bed ? Captain Keith Tight lines
The white Ford was in 4WD so it's very unlikely that the cause of the swim was a traction problem.
A pickup can hold about 404 gallons of water, or two cubic yards.
3,369 lbs
Average 1500 truck bed - 95 cubic feet, 695 gallons. Roughly 5800 lbs of water
Hey Alfred, did you name Fred after you. Love the way you do your videos.

they need to install a winch up away from each ramp, would save on wreckers lol
How anyone can sink an entire tow vehicle at a ramp mystifies me. Absolute incompetence with a vehicle. One can only imagine what they're like with a boat.
Not if, but when Fred munches down on soylent green. 😂
Start rolling a camera and I might fold under the pressure at the dock! 🤣
Thank God that last guy doesn't own a plane!
a fullsize 8' pickup bed is 77.4 ft3 which would hold 579 gallons. Now you know!
The only boat I would buy is a recreational docked pontoon boat with AC.
Fred is a STAR!!!!!!
I could sit there all day with a cooler🎉
Just a reminder of how much fun boating is....
Atleast 5 tonnes of water in that GMC.
You're watching the water flow oit of the bed, I'm watching it stream out the bottom of both the front and back doors, lol.
These people have nice boats. How can they be so bad at this?
I live on the golf coast, And?
I am an avid boater, And I swear I hope I never end up on your show At least not the Laughing stock that I love😅😅😅 Because.

I cannot understand why people put their pickup trucks that deep down the boat ramp! These people are a hazard!!!
Seems the more expensive the toy, the more ignorant the owner. ☆
There are people that have no business owning or getting anywhere near a boat.
Ole green belly is about two seconds from a massive coronary.
I don't think it's the tires. It's the idiots behind the wheel 🤣🤣
i know my limitations if i had a boat i would pay a qualified boat person to put mine in.
Wow, but well said "it can happen to any of us". My ebrake won't hold in my 2019 3/4 ton chevy so eventually the "park" paw in my tranny will wear out and down my truck goes. But jeez some of the boat operators are just plain dangerous and destructive.
Money for boat: $750,000
Money for learning how to operate it: $18 CD
Alfred, we need to give you a new nickname, Captain Crunch!
2:42 😂😂😂😂🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Its like Fred knows he is being recorded!!! 😆
Don't worry Alfred fred got the hole shot while you were in the bathroom 😂
@2:17 you’re welcome
You didn't get the shot? You're fired
Damn you should've Waaaaaaittt Forrrr it! LoL
Roughly 4615 pounds of water weight in the 71-ish cubic feet of space in the average 5/6 foot truck bed.
Depending on the salinity, ocean water weighs between 62 and 75 pounds per cubic foot.
I’m sure absolutely no alcohol was involved involved in any of these 😎
Manatee was the highlight. So gorgeous!!!!
Guy in the green shirt, that must hurt!
That actually looks like a crocodile and not a alligator. If it is a crocodile it should be relocated because they are way more aggressive towards humans than alligators.
9:23 my dude just wanted to get drunk af ! hahah
I'd like to see 'Karens on the water!!!!!'
If I get boat #3 it will be called the MV Bloop Bloop.
This isn't even about how much people don't know about boating. Most these incidents are just a complete lack of common sense.
Brilliant..😂😂😂..Thank You.😂😂
Cuda looks close to over slot size
...am I right in assuming that you don't need a boat license or have to take an aptitude test in Florida?
Fred is looking for a new truck to drive to the beach 🏖️.
It looks like a lot of people don't like their boats to me .
Fred's lunch in the water
Alfred. Canadian boy loves your shit show down there. That never happens here lol. Btw. Sheet of plywood 6” thick of water is a ton
Why do boaters no longer seem to be able to operate their boats?
