    Lyrics:
Above the mists of Highland hills
E’en far above the clear blue skies
The end of pain and earthly ills
When we shall see His eyes
    Refrain
    Lutes will sing
    Pipers play
When we see Him face to face
    On that day
His face now hidden from our sight
    Concealed from ev’ry hidden gaze
In hearts made pure from sinful f light
Is the bliss that will amaze
    Refrain
We know not yet what we will be
    In heaven’s final blessed state
But know we now that we shall see
    Our Lord at heaven’s gate
    The beatific glory view
That now our souls still long to see
Will make us all at once anew
    And like Him forever be
    Refrain

He is now LIVING, full stop. He is with the Lord, the same Lord of Abraham, Isaac a d Jacob, the lord of the living, and not of the dead.

Can't believe he's gone, but the expressions on his face which range from a deep peaceful joy at the beginning to one that almost appears to be a childlike elation towards the end of the hymn shows a hint of the felicity he is experiencing now. His teachings have greatly blessed my life and i am truly thankful for his labor.

God's man goes home. Oh how I will miss him. It feels like I have lost a parent. Elated that he now walks in heaven with Jesus.

RC Sproul wrote the words to this hymn and others is the book he wrote. Love this one most so far. Took me a long time to find anything about it. An hour was too long having to listen to a lot of “other “ titles ugh. But it surely was worth it! I didn’t know he did this!

I will always hold RC closely in my heart for illuminating for me the precious, humbling, and marvelously exquisite doctrine of election to a formerly blinded Arminian.

Arminians are Christians as well, if they have faith in Jesus and as a result, love (in some way) the brothers and sisters. Both Arminians and Calvinists will be in glory.

He will be missed. May God raise up---not another Sproul---but a preacher who will electrify hearts of the next generation as Sproul did our hearts. Send to the next generation one who holds God's word as wisdom, and the Gospel as the central truth.

Poor?! How could you say that! This man lives eternally in the presence of God free from his pain and sin. Walking beside Jesus (who is currently teaching him that infant baptism is the wrong view (that was a joke please don't bite my head off)).More correct would be, "poor us to not be where this great man now stands." Yet one day we shall see him again. And more importantly we shall see Christ!

Why are there some scenes where R. C. Sproul is with glasses and right after a change of view he is not wearing glasses?! Hahah
What an energizing and beautiful hymn! I close my eyes and imagine that moment and literally I start to tremble just to imaging! He is coming soon! hallelujah!!!
