You would have loved Tassie. Just the boat ride is a pain . You didn't mention all the vibrations from the engines and props that also keep you awake. I've tried every position in the Spirit for accommodation and they all vibrate so the last time I traveled to Tassie I just booked a recliner for free.( still can't sleep but at least it's free)
@@OverlandExposure kind of 🤔🤣. We are still at our job until August 7th. Then we are heading towards Lightning Ridge, Birdsville, Coober Pedy, Uluru, The Centre, Alice Springs and up to Darwin over the next few months. Our job has given us time to do lots to it. A whole new electrical setup, more solar, I have wrapped the front door in carbon fibre, and about to sand the front and do the same to it, I painted the chassis, gas bottles, front checker plate and battery box, we restrung and washed all window blinds (that was fun) but did it, curtains across main bed, I fitted the aussie traveller anti flap kit and quite a few other things. It will be used very very soon.

Ah yes the vibrations, they were present but not too bad. I don't think I could do a recliner with a child for that long of a trip 🤣
