8:28 I was briefly part of a writer’s group that met in a bookstore (I had to leave when I went to college and moved). But it solved several of these problems and a few you didn’t list. It provided motivation to write, because if you didn’t get something done before group, all the other writers would ask what you had written and nobody wanted that awkward pause before moving on to the next person. Having so many different kinds of writers with different styles and processes also provided support for when someone wasn’t happy with their work or hit a block, because various writers would offer suggestions, edits, or other improvements. Everyone would also draw inspiration from each other and leave highly motivated to continue writing. I want to find another group like this
this is a very good video. i've been writing "off and on " for years. i want to be in love with the process but i am not yet. i have been living through all of these obstacles. i know them well.
These five reasons could perhaps be applied to procrastination as well. Could you, please, make some video or something like that explaining how to record content on TH-cam? How to be a TH-camr essentially? Thank you, Fabio, for recording and being consistant with your TH-cam channel! Best regards from Ukraine! Keep it up! 👍
Hi Artem. Thanks for your kind comment. It's quite easy to become a TH-camr. I record my videos using Riverside (not free). I do minor edits using Capcut (free), and then upload them to my channel. This video explains everything but let me know if you have other questions. th-cam.com/video/DAneLjJzg6w/w-d-xo.html

Such a deep thought, Fabio! ❤
Writing (or whatever) should be fun, playful, or satisfying. Long term goals are good but they won't help us maintain daily practice.
Hi Stephen. I agree!
No consequences - this is so true! 😎

"The Practice: Shipping Creative Work" by Seth Godin is a book about trusting the process. I loved it. Check it out as it might help you too.
@@fabiocerpelloni Thank you . I will. I have a long list of books of course. Your channel is a big inspiration.
