Having me on a team is a huge gamble, but it's worth it if luck is on my side, half of the time I'm god tier, then the other half of the times I'm absolutely horrible, and it's not just for specific amounts of time, it's constantly until the game ends, so people literally debate having me on their team or not before games start and it takes about 5 minutes for people to even decide.

man, i wish i had this. i'm 14 and in my country (Italy) badminton is definetly not a popular sport, to the point that people make fun of it ("oh yeah, you play that weird tennis copy" and in general not taking it as a serious sport). I can only train on "court" once a week for 2 h, because we play in a school's gym and it isn't available other days, and I say "court" because we marked only one actual court with tape. Even the next year, when i'm gonna be in the group for 15-18 y/o players, I'm gonna do just two trainings a week of 1,5 h each. i feel like even if i train on my own (running, doing workouts) that's not gonna help enough, just yesterdy i did a tournament (and lost miserably) and everyone there was so good, they all had at least 2/3 years of experience (i barely play from 8 months). it was a good experience, for sure, seeing all those matches and all those players made me realize how much i love badminton and how much i'm grateful it heeled my relationship with sport, but i also felt SO helpless.

You have the South tirol badminton school (sbs) which is pretty decent! And I think some nice coaches in Milan :D not everything is bad in Italy regarding badminton
I face the same issue. I go to an American school in England, but they don't provide a team or a club sadly. Me and 4 other people during PE class play, but we all want to take it to the next level, but we can't.
Badminton is one of the most underrated sports right now, and I wish it was more popular.
