When you really think about it Kevin's actually a pretty good child and it's being shown when he interacted with the old man from home alone 1 and old woman from home alone 2. Basically, Kevin's the type to act how he's treated. His family treats him horribly so he acts rude and even that is not his fault since Buzz or another would start it and he's only defending himself. Meanwhile, treat him right or with respect, he will also do that back, like with the old man and woman. And reminder to his family, he's a CHILD. And yet, they defend Buzz's actions when it's extremely clear Buzz is the one that's bad and a bully. Instead, they scold and outcast Kevin as the one at fault when he's really not. I hope if there is a part 2, they finally realize how they treat Kevin and give Buzz what he deserve.
This is such a beautiful reaction -- the designs are so good, their reactions are so satisfying, and you focused a lot on how he defended the house, and then some angst too -- plus you calling them roaches at the end 😂 I loved that -- and I love this.

I love how you actually make the characters feel more accurate ⬇Bigger detail example below ⬇ I see people make the parents react to the scene with Kevin and Buzz (like the full scene about the pizza) and they just "yell at Kevin" but like I don't think they'd do that because now they actually saw the full situation, before I feel like they just didn't know what happened and assumed Kevin was upset there was no cheese Pizza and blamed Buzz and pushed him instead of what actually happened between the 2 (Sure you didn't include the scene even in this but my point is that leads to how you make the characters accurate and the mom does scare about Kevin, she just doesn't fully know how to parent properly and wants to do better)
I would state that Buzz, Jeff, Megan and Linnie are impressed by Kevin's creativity, resourcefulness, intellect and quick wits whereas Peter and Kate are both wondering what kind of demented crazily intelligent spawn they brought into their lives. Meanwhile Kevin is laughing so hard at some of the videos he is likely on the verge of peeing his pants from laughing too hard.
I love this fandom so much, I watched both movies along with my roommates on Christmas Day and after that i had been searching for these all night and for the following days and finally a heap turned up today!!! This is my one of my favourites ones so far!!
When I grew up, I started noticing these things about the movie Home Alone: Kevin’s parents treated him like he was a problem. He spilled milk at dinner, and they immediately started yelling at him. They punished him but completely ignored the fact that Buzz started it. Instead of sitting down and having a conversation with him, they chose to ignore him and sent him away. His siblings treated him like some sort of intruder. Buzz constantly bullied him, and his parents ignored it. The other siblings either joined in or turned a blind eye, leaving Kevin to deal with it alone. The same goes for his relatives. Uncle Frank treated Kevin like trash and had no problem saying it straight to his face. And what did his parents do? They IGNORED it. Conclusion: In reality, if Kevin had parents and relatives like this, I think it would have seriously impacted his mental health. If I had to experience that kind of treatment growing up, I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up self-harming later in life. The environment portrayed in the movie is an example of a family nobody would want to belong to. Honestly, if a social worker walked into that house, Kevin would have been taken away in three days. Problems from the parents’ side: Emotional neglect: Lack of empathy, irresponsibility, and insufficient supervision. Prioritization and passivity: Failure to protect Kevin from both physical and emotional bullying, which was happening not only from his siblings but even from the rest of the family.
I feel like Marv had it worse in both movies. (Home Alone 1) Like he hurt his feet badly, his face got smashed by an iron, he got hit by a paint bucket, he fell the most, and he got a real venomous spider on him. (Home Alone 2) He fell, got tons of bricks thrown on him, got a whole shelf of paint splashed on him, got electrocuted badly and has attacked by birds. All that made him go insane, while Harry was simply mad that he got arrested again.
This is so good, I'm so happy people are doing more of this fandom this year. Since it says part 1 I'm guessing part to is going to be lost in New York. Though if you could, only if you want to ofcourse could you put where Kevin actually got caught by Marv and Harry from the first movie? I feel like a lot of people overlook that part and when the old man saves him. Though its just a suggestion. This is a very great video though and I cant wait for part two!
