Personally I don’t fault Yuki for anything she did in this episode, from the moment they were on different teams the election felt like a mind game competition between her and her brother and in an election that’s kinda just the way things go. It wouldn’t be as entertaining if it was just a bunch of “goody two shoes” types of debates or no mind games being played
Masachika's Dad is a diplomat in London so he lives by himself. Ayano never left that evening and slept in Yuki's room at his apartment. She also states in a later book that she would love to marry him and have his children.
Kuze's such a legitimate chad in this series. He's sort of a anti-harem MC. Most harem MC's are passive, mostly talentless, and thick as cement. Kuze actively flirts with Alya (and for the most part just Alya). He recognizes other character's motivations, and responds appropiately. And while he is lazy, he is actually smart, and turns on the effort when needed. And while this show isn't a harem, although there are certainly plenty of girls after Kuze, Kuze mostly ignores and/or rejects most of them in favor of Alya. It's really refreshing, even if it's going to take the entire series for Kuze and Alya to actually hook up. Although this is one of the horniest show's this season, so it wouldn't surprise me if Alya jumps Kuze before the end of the season.
Borscht - Russian vegetable soup with tomato sauce, cabbage, potato, carrot, beets, could be with beef or chicken. Very delicious ( im half Russian) im really enjoying this show
Indeed, toxic motherhood can be very traumatic, even psychologically crippling for a child, but is rarelly called out. Especially in anime. I only can recall Akito from "Bakuman" who stood up for himself with "I'm not your puppet!", when his mother tried to instill her resentment and insecurity into him. But such self-aware and confident kids are rare exceptions - mostly children who fell prey for such mothers (the most trusted persons in their short lives) feel guilt and begin to doubt themselves, crumbling into misery.
About the mom, i think people need to understand that, the fact that we UNDERSTAND AND SYMPATHIZE wtih a character doesn't mean we're giving EXCUSES to their behavior. And also, just bc someone broke at some point in life, i won't come and say this person is trash. Remember that, even tho we can't blame the past for everything, we ALSO NEED to look how it was in the beginning before things went downhill. She was clearly a loveable mother before, and tbh....i think she still is. Remember how she asked about Kuze to Yuki a few eps ago? Being a parent doesn't make you a superhuman. People BREAK at some point. Instead of pointing fingers, i think people should try to help first.
Ultimately, as a parent, you should be able to draw a line in the sand. Masachika’s father did. The mother is just.. well. Still a lot of story to be told. None of which makes her look any better and tbh I’d say it makes her look arguably worse.
@@blackonefifty as an ANIME ONLY, she looks broken bc of her father, and tbh if people are more willing to judge her instead of trying to understand she needs help then it's on them. Until the whole thing is revealed, and with the info we've got so far, i see her as more of a victim than an actual "bad person". Also, his other grandfather (his dad's father) look like a pretty normal and chill dude, so idk if it's right comparing the dad and the mom like both went through the same things.
@@pbgamer25 She's definitely a victim of her dad's emotional abuse, the same abuse he's now putting Yuki through and tried to put Kuze through. Still though, she failed as a mother to protect her children. Japanese culture or not, does not excuse her actions. I actually do appreciate though, that the story shows just how toxic this, older person is automatically right philosophy is. If the grandfather ever gets his comeuppance, and he probably will at some point, it's going to be glorious.
okay so yes, some paracetamol pills actually makes you feel sleepy, some higher concentration/dosage than the others. I would usually have one of those and sleep until next day.
Personally when it comes to Masachika's mom, I get the feeling that he looks and maybe plays piano like his Dad and the mom was having trouble because their marriage was falling apart.
There's some legitimacy here. Her marriage fell apart because her husband worked too much and ignored his familial responsibilities and here's her son, probably also the spitting image of his father, working too much. She reached a breaking point and unfortunately took out some of her frustrations on her son.
In my opinion I don’t think Masachika’s mom didn’t like piano. I just think she wanted her children to have a normal childhood, and she didn’t want them to try so hard to impress her. And she was just sad that they were working so hard and not living like a child would.
In the LN, before Kuze goes back to school to see what happened with Alya, Ayano offers to be punished as seen here, but kuze simply asks her to say if Yuki put her up to this. He offers to let himself be taken care of by Ayano in exchange for telling the truth, which fails. So he offers to insult Ayano, which she reacts to yet hesitantly refuses, while asking "when you planned on insulting me did it involve stomping on my head?”, after a bit of back in forth of Ayano not answering if she wants to be steped on. Kuze makes her simply clean his house since she still wanted some form of punishment. TLDR: the cut out a funny masochistic Ayano scene.
I still don't think we've actually seen the "Real Yuki" even this far into the show, I think everything we've seen so far (Good, Bad, and Degenerate) has been an act.
Speculation, but I think a lot of Yuki's motivations come from the comments we've got that she's never beeted her brother at anything. She's competing against him, not Alya. Alya is sadly collateral damage.
Probably many will criticize Yuki for her behavior, and I admit it was clearly not the best, but honestly, I probably would have done the same thing if I were her: Yuki is very smart, and realized quite early that Alya is the “weak link” of the chain and that she’s her most dangerous rival, but if she stands a minuscule chance of winning against Yuki it’s purely because of Masachika support… So Yuki took advantage of a situation in which Masachika was absent to “challenge” Alya on a 1vs1 and clearly defeated her… Was it a cheap trick? Yes, Was it smart? Yes, it was pure genius… As things stand right now if Alya wins it will basically be Masachika who would have “dragged” her to victory and I really don’t like that… They made it look like Alya is completely incapable of doing anything on her own, and it honestly doesn’t look like a battle between Alya and Yuki, but a battle between Yuki and Masachika with him “pulling Alya’s strings…” What about her motivations? At least Yuki wants to make her family (especially her mother I think) proud… It could be a selfish reason, but What about Alya? Does she want to become president just because when she was a kid nobody listened to her? To get some sort of revenge? To prove herself? To me this sounds even more egoistical…
I seriously cannot understand how everyone can so easily overlook his duplicity. He actively hides the fact that he can understand Russian and that Yuki is his sister. These are two very important things to know. Does he really believe he can continue this forever? He in no way deserves to be with her. He is very manipulative. Eventually finding this out could crush an open and honest girl like her.
The die was cast the first time she masked her words in her native language and as far as hiding Yuki, the entire family has been instructed to treat him as not related to them in any way. Acting like dude is a fucking terrorist or something 💀
@@blackonefifty So, is duplicity now a plus? A normal person would have had no problem telling her they understood the first time they heard her. I don't care what the reason for not telling her about their relationship, it is still wrong. They are both using it as a springboard to their advantages. I don't believe I ever mentioned terrorist or stooped to foul language. Methinks thou dost protest to much.
