San Sebastian and the Basque region have only just hit my must see list in the last year. But, like you guys, I was quite surprised by the modern touches

We met about 15 years ago in Florida. We are in our 70s and retired. Special note: Myrta was born in a town named "San Sebastian", Puerto Rico! I just found your TH-cam video about San Sebastian and I will be showing it to Myrta, soon. She is presently on a 7-day cruise which is returning tomorrow morning. I went many times on different cruise ships with Myrta but now she goes with her many sisters. I see that you have been traveling by RV for many, many years! That is one thing I would like to do with Myrta, here in Florida, but she is a bit shy about being out in the RV campgrounds but I hope to convince her to go with me in an RV rental soon. loved the video, I know it's not what this series is all about but San Sebastian houses the most Michelin Starred restaurants per capita and It almost feeels like a dis-service not exploring, or at least mentioning, the outrageous tapas and wine scene when stopping there. That said I am excited to watch more of your journey.
Thanks for your comment ❤ Yes! We noticed the insane number of tapas bars in the old section of town and it was extremely busy! It's tricky for us to find a balance between 'showing a place' without it being a 'top 10 of..' We sort-of settled on a style somewhere in-between and try to show a bit of what our life is like living motorhome full-time as well as show how we experience some destinations. That said, we're just making it up as we go so all advice is appreciated.
Indeed. Spain is not a federation, but a decentralized unitary country and as such is made up of autonomous communities - of which the Basque Country is one
San Sebastian is very impressive looking. What a beautiful bay and great hikes rewarded with stunning views.
