- Heya everyone! My newest Genshin Impact Theory is finally ready!
I am extremely excited to finally share this video with you all. I've been working on this one since 1.1, but feeling I didn't have enough evidence at that time I kept it under wraps until now.
This Theory is about 42 minutes in totality so I've broken it into two parts so that you can enjoy part 1 while I complete my work on part 2.

This is the reason why I am so excited for Inazuma. I believe that the region's introduction will give us more information on Teyvat's lore. As we all know only Barbatos and Morax are the origal members of the Seven. How do Archons fall? How are they replace? What is really the significance of the Gnosis? We can expect a change in the narrative of the story.
Baal is afraid of something. What is she afraid of?
I'm really curious about the massive irony with the Electro Archon being the God of Eternity and yet not being one of the original seven. The two archons we have interacted with have been fairly friendly so I wonder how that dynamic is going to change with the other archons who aren't of the original.

@Yk On I'm not sure that the principle corresponds with the element. Certainly no one considers Decarabian a God of Freedom.
@Yk On The eternity is most likely the Baal's principle. The current Archon of Sumeru is God of Wisdom, however before that it was God of the Woods. God of the Woods died 500 years ago, making way for God of Wisdom to take the reins.
Havria could've been a Geo Archon if she had won the Divine Battle Royale.

Wouldn’t it be cool if dainsleif was the other heir? Like there’s already hints to it as he admits that there isn’t much left of his memory, which parallels to the first heir who had her memory wiped as well.

It actually makes sense, in reddit they do a parallel showing the unknown goddess as the evil heir and dainsleif as the 2nd heir, it makes a lot of sense.

For instance Venti for sure knows the dark sides of Celestia but doesn't like to talk about it, probably archon reasons?? Dainsleif is probably the second heir.
The sustainer's name is also kinda datamined to be Asmoday (Asmodeus). So if she is the first heir, then she has to have a real name.
Theory-makers suggest that the sustainer's real name is Fischl.
Yes, we have a character named Fischl, we all know her real name is Amy, she is a Chuunibyou, and she has taken on the persona of a character in her favorite book. That character is Princess Fischl. Her weird dialogues in the Unreconciled Stars event and voice lines in her profile seems to suggest that Princess Fischl in her favorite book is based on Fischl, the sustainer.

I have a feeling that we, players, are misled into thinking that Tsaritsa and the Abyss Order are the bad guys, when, in reality, they want to overthrow the Celestia and are basically the good guys. Except they act independently from each other.
@@MrDarthImperius yep. I think it's anti-entropy, shickshal and world's serpent again. Every person is a hero of their own. Every faction has a good and terrible characters it's too early to assume that the Tsarita are indeed the villain like in some old cliché stories.

Because I think the abyss originated in kaeranigh or whatever it’s called which is where kaeya is from. And apparently celestia turned everyone in kaeranigh into hilichiruls😳

I like the detail where the all tell you that you don't have a vision and then I check the traveler and noticed that everyone have vision except for the traveler that's very intrasting
@@badreedinedjellali1328 but Venti and Zhongli are only using fake tones and disguise it as a vision. We can make sure that it isn't real because in the meteor event Venti's vision does not glow like the others

When you think about it, having a vision makes you depend on it, as well as the Archon that gave it to you. So could this also be a way of the Divine to stop Teyvat's population from creating new technology?
As well as gaining control over their use of those powers.

I have a feeling the visions are for an entirely different purpose rather than slowing down technological progress.
It makes PERFECT sense, the vision is given to people with aspiration! Thesr are the people who may rebel. By giving them a vision, their aspiration can be stripped away from them at any point. Just like Baal is doing right now.

@@clear5136 you don't really have to play an entire new game. it just gives more insight on the future of genshin and where the story goes because there ARE a lot of parallels and the two games HAVE been canonically confirmed to be taking place in the same world. It's just that they're two separate universes so they work individually just like how honkai players don't really need to learn the lore of gun girlz or houkai gakuen to understand honkai's lore, which by the way, are also taking place all in the same world. the thing that separates them tho is the fact that they're separate universes and the only thing that connects them is the world tree (which is the place where different universes branch out)
@@clear5136 as someone who never has played the entire honkai story which has 3 games and still spent hours reading about can assure you that Genshin is canocally in a different universe. Honkai Impact 3rd can give you some contacts and you can use it as tool to build more theories. It's a really cool story and the youtube channel has some summaries of you want to look at it.
I would say this is a good theory, but I get the feeling that the unknown god hates outlanders... like she blames them for something grave. My guess is that previous outlanders caused chaos on this world due to their interventions and altered the course of history that the gods wanted, which is why she chose to remove them before they could make things worse.
If the unknown god wanted not to alter the course of history as you say then why she stop them from leaving that world? If she let aether and lumine go wouldnt that be an easier way to prevent them altering the history? they havent done anything yet they bout to leave but she stopped them, now aether and lumine doing wild sht in teyvat.

So it's a never-ending cycle. I'm going to give it a stretch and say Dainsleif and Paimon were both travelers themselves long ago, or attained godhood before a new heir dethroned them. And maybe with new change of regency, a calamity strikes Teyvat that only someone that possesses every elemental aptitude can dream of stopping, which is why the Tsaritsa, not trusting the traveler with this task, takes the matter in her own hands by collection all the gnosis to make herself the next and final heir. Yeah.
Ooooo makes sense childe did say in his voice lines that The Tsaritsa was a kind soul but has no love for herself nor her people.

Have you read the “Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies” on Honey Impact? It’s the book the abyss mage stole in Lisa’s story quest (only ch1 is currently available in-game). I am convinced that Dainief is the Light Prince, and that the Pale Princess is now the Sustainer. The Moonlight Forest is also probably Kaenri’ah, but I am most interested in who the Night Mother may be. Gives me final boss vibes.

I want to mention that when you’re first talking to Dain he doesn’t react to the fact that you’re from the adventurers guild but instead to a “Traveler” this means he was waiting for you because he or someone else needs you.
Also when he asks you the third question: “between those who possess a vision and does who don’t, which are more worthy to the eyes of the gods” you get the chose “those with vision”, those without vision” and “perhaps neither of them” not both of them, but instead none at all.

Omg! I just had a thought. What if the ancients were from the world of Honkai and the Spiral Abyss was a wormhole like tunnel to another world. They founded a civilization in this new world, bringing their knowledge of advance technologies. Upon discovering that the citizens could manipulate the elements without visions, the numerous Archons of Celestia became fearful of what would happen without outsiders wielding power of that magnitude. Therefore igniting the spark of war and then events between lead up to the calamity. Just my thoughts😁

I don't think Dainsleif is the second heir. Here's why:
The Gnostic Chorus clearly shows two heirs and it seems to suggest that each of them had travelled separately to the Kingdom of Darkness. Dainsleif mentions an old woman companion that used to travel with him. If this woman is the sustainer and the first heir which failed at her task, then they were together when one of them was deceived. But from what we know in other media, Dainsleif's memory have also faded, as he says "my memory has all but faded completely". The second heir doesn't seem to suffer from amnesia like Dainsleif does.
Besides that, we also have the attitude of Dainsleif not being what would be expected from someone who hails from a different world with the task of retrieving a genesis pearl: his inaction for most of the time. He states that he is content to watch most crises play out from the sidelines, and it seems that all he's been really doing for most of this time is "watch".
I do believe, however, that the Sustainer *is* our first crowned heir, but the Gnostic Chorus just simply chose not to mention her travelling companion (probably Dainsleif) just like they didn't mention the second heir's travelling companion (Lumine/Aether).
The fact that Lumine and Aether failed to recognize the Sustainer means that, if they all hail from the same kingdom with the same mission, then Lumine/Aether were born after the first pair of travelers had gone and failed to retrieve the pearl.
I don't think our main character is fully aware of his mission of retrieving the pearl yet, whatever that may be (could just be metaphorical) but it seems that the sibling already knows their mission and is acting upon it. My theory is that this genesis pearl has the power to bring back their homeland (that glorious kingdom) into this new world (Teyvat).

Edit: I've heard that if you play as Lumine, Dainsleif's travelling companion becomes a male, so it's not the sustainer, but probably our lost sibling. So, my theory lost a lot of its ground, but his memory loss does suggest that he's connected to the hymn of the pearl (the real world one) and may be in the process of forgetting his mission.
Besides, has anyone noticed the Traveler's description in game? "The keeper is fading away; the creator has not yet come.
But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend."
Dainsleif is known as the "bough keeper", so to me it seems that if the traveler is not a heir of this kingdom from the heavens, he will at least be the key in helping the heir accomplish his mission.

But it does still seem like Dainsleif is kind of lost and forgot about his mission, if he is indeed the second crowned heir. Maybe it is our purpose to remind him.

This theory makes even more sense if you consider the tsaritsa is collecting the gnosis to move the gof of time from celestia so they can be punished for what happened to the city 500 years ago, they do mention she was furious with venti about it
It could be that venti helped in destruction of kaeya's nation
I think all of the archons were forced to kill of kannrieh and the Dendro archon who she was close too died refusing and caused her to become bitter with herself and the other archons

By their quests both Venti and Zhongli said the same thing as: "dont judge untill you have seen all of Teyvat."
As if they had a reason for doing so.
It would be horrible if they signed a contract for that 😂 that would explain why Zhongli wants to end them all.
I feel like the story "Flowers for Princess Fischl" have more of a connection to the deep lore than it seems..

That mountain in the hymn could be dragonspine, they both are surrounded by rings of clouds, both have themes of corruption, and the floating stones are the same at the top of the mountain are they same kind as are on celestia.

I never thought that the twins where the ones depicted on the gnostic chorus.
I think paimon is the new heir. Since she resembles the unkwon god so much. If paimon is the unkown god that won't be a plot twist anymore since its quite obvious that people would think of that. The story would be much interesting if there will be an unexpected twist that no one could have predicted. But thats just my theory.

I dont mean to hate on your content. most of your theories are amazing (like the ones on specific characters) but you can do better than this. There are a bunch of discrepancies in you theory for example, you connect 3 (possibly random) names to a book and then move on making it a quite weak connection but you take it a fact anyway. Also, the connections you make with the book and the actual game seem to be few and vague too. So, "obvious and interesting" is only partially correct. Also, destiny isn't necessarily referring to the heavens. Why would the floating island not be Celestia? We have stronger reasoning too believe that it is infact Celestia. Not to mention that, we are literally are being told the story. We just are. Also, "The siblings" sounds why too direct that could be why they refer to them as heirs. It could just be them trying to be vague so they can say "this is your story" at the end and wrap it up by confirming your suspicions. They cant just add some visual shit to decive us there is no point. they literally say "this is your story" . In my opinion you should focus on evidence directly and clearly related to the game just to make sure you theories stay on track. Oh, one final nail in the coffin, mihoyo doesn't go that deep into the plot to lie to the players.

what if Teyvat is built inside a special Serenitea Pot? and Scaramouche is right about fake stars and moon in the sky? I think Teyvat is not a normal planet but a remnant of what it once was following the Honkai catastrophe or maybe it was the war between the gods and the highly advanced country? and perhaps the gods are trying to cover up the peculiar situation the planet is in, by projecting fake stars and moon in the sky.I mean it could be true, but hey that's just a theory a genshin theory

I think the gnosis hymn thing is saying the one who forgot the past is like Aether, and the one who has taken up their path is like lumine. Aether forgets everything before he woke up on the beach, while Lumine is going around doing things.
Leonard is a reference to Leonardo Da Vinci, who IRL thought of the first plane prototypes, just like in Teyvat - he drew first glider prototypes.
The theory that the spiral abyss is from the ones that don't worship the gods can actually be true because comparing the beta map on the far left side in fontaine celestia high is there
I also thought that Fischl can be a key char abt this lore considering the knowledge she has and also abt her vision, she's the only char (so far) to manifest her ability creating her familiar, Oz, that is intelligent.
The one major thing I think you missed out is something I found almost immediately from the video is the links to one of the 5 books of Moses: Genesis, more importantly, that of the garden of eden. The Genesis pearl itself is that of the fruit of the forbidden tree of which the snake deceives Eve into eating, however, the main difference is the unknowingness of whether she acquired the genesis pearl or not. But the snake is the one who deceives Eve in the story making her commit the acts turning against her God, which is exactly what happens here, she is deceived by what is characterized as a snake into doing things against what she was set out to do and became an evil ruler. In Genesis, Eve convinces Adam to join her in eating the forbidden fruit which Adam agrees to, however, again it is left unknown where the second heir is and has he fallen into a role of one who is deceived? The story ends with Adam and Eve being banished from eden and into the human world, which my linkage to this is in fact the people with the ability to wield the elements are in fact those in the supposed version of the garden of eden. Eve's role has been reversed, as instead of being banished form the garden of eden, she becomes the God banishing people from said garden and these people who wield the elements are now who Adam and Eve have become and their banishment is one of becoming the monsters we see in teyvat. As Adam and Eve lost their clothes when eating the forbidden fruit, these banished people lost their bodies instead. But is the forbidden fruit? That I assume is their powers of the elements and freedom and that is the reason they got banished and cursed into the monsters of teyvat.
I hope this isn't too confusing and makes some sort of sense.

Read somewhere else (or maybe it's also just a theory?) that the monsters of Teyvat came from the cataclysm caused by Gold, the alchemist from Khaenri'ah, though? Something about corrupting the inhabitants of Khaenri'ah and putting them under a curse or smth

This is why I think Childe is another important character to unlocking the mystery of the lore because he literally trained in the abyss.
In his character story, he went into the abyss somehow and time works differently there. He was trained by a swordswoman for 3 months but when he came back he was only missing for 3 days. And by the time he got back, he got obsessed with the physical thrill of fighting. He definitely has seen some stuff in the abyss / the dimension itself sort of changes u bcs I think childe changed so much within 3 months. His father literally called him "troublemaker" when he got back and that wasn't him.
The spiral/abyss is probably a dimension that works as a container for the genesis pearl. Its powers is so great that it alternates time, mind, and perhaps eventually physical form.
It makes sense if the first heir/princess would eventually forgot who she originally was and came to believe that she's the queen of an evil kingdom. She probably spent years in the abyss looking for the genesis pearl. Childe, on the other hand, spending only 3 months, managed to somehow keep his identity and some of his sanity (probably bcs of his master).
Just imagine, 3 months and it's enough to make him a bit crazy. But because he still managed to keep some of his sanity and identity, this is how he got to see the truth. Just as scaramouche did. Because of that Tsaritsa noticed him, shared her plans and made him a Fatui Harbinger. Childe, knowing the truth and Tsaritsa's plan, swore loyalty to her bcs he wants to keep his family safe from the lie of the world that could eventually hurt them.
Also, I really hope that we get to see his master later in a quest or even get her as a playable character. It's interesting to see how childe got to meet her in the abyss. I have SO MANY QUESTIONS. Like, did she entered it by accident as well? Does she live there? Is she possibly another traveler who's looking for the pearl? Just who is she?
“Pilos” may also be a reference to Latin “pilo” or “pilum”, meaning pike/spear/javelin

You know - even if it's not true, it still makes for an interesting tale! This is what I love about fan theories as in-depth as this. Even if they don't ultimately end up being true in the game's lore, the tale - in and of itself - is still an interesting one to be told.

Its Dainsleif I think- he mentions that her traveled with someone, someone of female nature. At first we are led to believe that is could be the sister of Aether, but if you play as Lumine you get the same story. He also wears foreign clothing. He has blond hair, similar to the white pattern we see in the Gnostic Chorus. He does not appear to age, as he claims to remember Venti´s original departure as well as the fall of Khaenri'ah. He ahs obviously been here for a long time, and the only thing that I could think of as a reason other than as the second heir is that he is another archon, potentially one of time. It is also important to note that he is slowly losing his memory, which is similar to the first heir losing hers as well...
So basically the first heir is the sustainer and the second is dainsleif?

At 14:36, whilst the princess looks at the mountain, not yet deceived, we see two star pieces.
Once the prince takes over at 15:20, there are now three pieces, suggesting the previous heir joined the stars.
This also suggests there were two before them. Thoughts?

With the new storyline mision in 1.4, I can confirm the story about the "girl" in BP is about Lumine (if you pick Aether as the game intended). She saw the truth about the world and turn corrupted
well, now that the We Will Be Reunited story quest is out, I do think that the Gnostic Chorus poem is talking about Aether and Lumine, but in an indirect, metaphoric way. Either that, or, as you said, we may be in a cycle of events that are reoccuring in Teyvat.

13:20 basically what i thought when game was released what i heard of rumors before Lumiere wasn't suppose to be pickable, the character choice was suppose to be Aether from the beginning, but since we can pick Lumiere then what? their roles then must of switched when you picked
While i was bored and doing nothing i read the description of the gemstones which made me think. The anemo gemstone description has the lines that venti said at the end of the Prologue act 3 cutscene at the end so i thought maybe the gemstone's description is what the respective archons said themselves and i just thought this might be a key to know their personality. Was it the Fatui that summoned the meteors? We know it wasn't Scarmoche and that someone, presumably another Harbringer, informed him about the meteors. Do we have any confirmation that it was the Fatui that summoned these meteors?

Honestly... My first thought in linking the stories about the pearl wasn't with the Herrscher of Heavenly principles, but with the Tsarista... A "god with no love left" according to Dainsleif, who "declared against the whole world only because she dreams of peace" according to Childe. Her people have no love for her either, again, according to Dainsleif.
She targets the Gnoses, but we don't know why. Might it be to get the pearl, or perhaps she believes the Gnoses are the Genesis pearl, or linked to it? We also know that her personality changed: is that the corruption taking hold?
Barbados asked for her help years ago, but she doesn't talk to him anymore; perhaps explaining why Venti shares this story with us, his link to the story, hoping to find this mythical "heir" that is supposedly her counterpart.
The mystery and lore of Teyvat and the Travelers past including who Paimon really is keeps my drive in playing the game. Sure, the updates of the game are all great but knowing the history behind what has happened is more interesting.
I bet Scaramouche knew something too much that he knows no one mag believe him.

When i saw an Notification I thought it was "The Siblings of Mondstadt" Video but this was a still a Pretty Cool and Interesting Video/Theory.
As a relatively new player (Entered during the last? days of Ganyu's banner) im so salty i didn't manage to download the game sooner! The unreconciled stars event seems pretty damn relevant, considering *Scaramouche* of all people is present there. And it seems the event had some very juicy lore in it... gah, what a shame :(.

This plot reminds me so much of The Machina war in Final FantasyX-X2 with also some shared similarities of FF 13 with the gods and people given a "focus"and most definitely the war with the espers which were (sub gods created by the God's of that world who then decided to rebell against their creators ) plot from FF12. I see where Mihoyo is getting inspiration from it's cool, I love it.
Though, I had a theory that Lumine and Aether already found the pearl and was leaving the world that's when the "UnknownGod" decided they have meddled in the affairs of "this world" Which was unwarranted and so she separated them for her own agenda.
Honestly, what purpose was to attain this pearl in the first place unless the pearl never existed in the first place or maybe the pearl is Paimon?
Anyway based on what you showed here, I'm now thinking the "Unknown God" is the first heir who've gotten tricked into being the Abyss orders ruler but more like a (pawn figure head) cause there's always one controlling the said "boss"and plotting to either, destroy or take full control over ceIestia and break the veil of this fake world and seep darkness into the next worlds.
Since the other twins been kidnapped and re-educated on world issues and seems to understand the true nature of this coming war given the fact that they were taken by the "Unknown God" and now seen working with the Abyss Order. I think it's safe to say we have already met the first heir who we know as the " Unknown god." They need the help of the Travelling twins to reach their ultimate goal. It's the oldest trick make the good guys work for you. Though, here's another thought. What if what we are doing as a players are being cohorsed into paving a road to hell with good intentions by Mihoyo without even knowing it ? We honestly don't know what is going on really, there's so many plots with cliffhangers which leaves more questions.
Now, I also believe that Teyvat is fake and could be the bridge between realms with all the Ley lines finding ways to burst out and the hilichurls are trying to break them open. The Abyss gate is like a StarGate to other parts of the distorted realm. All the Domains act the same way except for the ones that can never be entered again, those where distorted anomalies in the Ley lines that had to be closed up like a time rift. It's also in a similar plot line borrowed from Final Fantasy13part 2.
Have you guys noticed in 1.3 they added a galaxy rift when you open the domains now? Which also furthers the plot dimensions or even a wormhole into parts of the distortion of the Abyss. Adding to that I personally think that the difficulty level of the domains could also count as different levels of that ley line it's connected too the over all core of the world kinda like the "hearts" of the world in Kingdom Hearts.
Further about Ley Lines.
I have a feeling if my theory is correct that Mihoyo is making a layed out version of the ley lines inspired by Final Fantasy12 "The Great Crystal" Located in Giruvegan. Look it up it's fascinating. Each level of That crystal has super strong enemies as you dive deeper into it and there is no real map of that place. That being said if you follow the right path it leads to chamber of the God's and you have to pass by this huge Abyss wormhole at the bottom of The Great Crystal. I have a feeling that Mihoyo is doing this with the domains , Ley lines and Abyss. All domains are connected by Ley lines that lead to the Abyss and to Celestia.
What furthers my theory on this is that wormhole in the sky that leads to the Abyss gateway island anyway. If we find another like it one could possibly lead to Celestia. I also believe that wormhole is a tear in that world's time/space and there could be be a platform that people used years ago to properly transport to that part of the mountain now Abyss Gate island.
Kaeya and Albedo kingdom is a big piece of end game plot and The Abyss order is probably there setting up their army for the coming war. Also, Albedo isn't human, he is possibly the dragon or something like "Ragnarok" That would bring the calamity on to the world, similar to the plot like FF 13 series did with Fang and Vanielle. The reason why I say this cause Albedo's final lines for Chalk Prince leads one to think he's a "monster" on a timer who has a roll to play for the end game. With all that he doesn't want to full fill his "focus", leading him to ask the question "if the traveller will slay him when the time comes," and prevent him from causeing the fall of what we know as Teyvat to be.
My last thoughts I think Final Fantasy 10 plot has a similar comparison to genshins plot so far.
The travellers are like Tidus and Yuna who sets off on a pilgrimage to bring the "Calm" to the land And beat "Sin." "Sin" in this case is the coming war and Abyss Order. The Fatui are advanced alchemist or engineers like the Albed from FF10 who worked diligently towards rebuilding a New World for mankind and break the laws of the old ways where only the blessed got powers. Like the Archons of Genshin FF10 NewYeven was this religious sect who wanted to keep the old ways (their way) but be the rulers of the world however they wanted like self proclaimed gods. While discriminating the Albed for their ability to create technology that gave the common man powers to rival that of the gods. It was deemed a threat to their teachings. In Genshin it's the Archons verses mankind verses the Fatui. The Archons war says it all. FF 10s Narrator was an older male and The MC but this guide MVP figure had great influence on Tidus and Yuna named Auron who is like Daineslief to Lumine and Aether in Genshin. Also Auron did something similar to MC just like what Daineslief did to the travellers when you met him at the bar. Asking all them questions. 🙃
The reason I used Final Fantasy 10s plot points, because similarities were striking mostly because Mihoyo kept hinting that The Traveller has committed a type of "sin" Which was also a major plot point and dilemma of many characters in the FF10series. For Genshin , at the end of the daily mission for Sister Victoria She mentions in hope that the traveller hasn't committed a sin they have to repent for. I think this is a clear nod from Mihoyo that the travellers have done something which they can't remember or you cant depending on which character you choose. I think it has something to do with why the "Unknown God "snatched a twin in the first place. It either has something to do with this Pearl or this Sin "the world meddling." I also have a deep belief that Daineslief is the other heir mentioned in search of the first heir and pearl. But sadly got stuck there in that world for so long that he grew up and he knows more than what he is letting on. The plot thickens my dudes.
