Switching from server hosting to matchmaking is the way you kill community involvement. If I log on qfter work, yeah i might just want to play something quick, but after the first game, while we wait for replacement players you can banter with your opponents and start to recognise personalityies . Both good and bad. Thats what makes jt a good social game rather than elo hell.

It may lower community involvement but I feel that SC 2 has a great community even with the matchmaking
