    Do you know what screw it comes with, lost it and can't find it but changed out the module and fans still not working. Did relay and fuses and nothing working. Idk what's going on.

      @angels3276 Gotta do some testing bud.
      Grab a multimeter and see where you're getting or nit getting voltage.

    my elantra will not turn the fans on, and the ac blows warm air until i rev the engine. could this be the cause, or do i need to look at something else?

      Sounds to me like it may be low on refrigerant since you say it gets colder when you Rev it up! Have the AC system checked and the fan as well. The fan should kick ON when the AC is turned on btw.

      @@EricsMobileVehicleRepair yeah, it’s a weird problem where once I rev the engine it kicks the fan and the compressor on. I was thinking it might be one of the relays somewhere, but it happens so infrequently that it’s kind of hard to troubleshoot. It’s one of those fancy clutchless compressors so I’m hoping it’s not that 😅

      @That0neGuy124 hummmm.... interesting! Intermittent issues can definitely be tough to pin point but it sounds like you're able to replicate the issue so that's a start!

    How do you come to find this was the problem?

      I gave it a good ol' love tap and then the fan began to work again then stopped again lol.

    Can a faulty fan control module affect your ac’s chilling ability?

    • @EricsMobileVehicleRepair
      @EricsMobileVehicleRepair  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question! And yes it can! If the module is preventing the fan from turning on when needed then yes. You may experience the AC not blowing as cold during stop and go traffic, stop signs or red lights.

      @oladipupooniga1353 Could be a lot bud. I'd start by checking both fan relays.

    Im pretty sure thats the resistor not the module

      You're absolutely right bt when I called the local part store that's how it was identified in thier system haha. Good catch!

      @ericsmobilevehiclerepairer2707 I'm learning. Trying to help my mom and see if I can replace the control module myself. Dealership wants 375 for the module and 400 for labor. Thanks for the video 👍

      @sweetsaltynut3140 You can def do this job no special tools needed for this just normal hand tools BUT make sure the fan actually works.
