I'm so glad your vlog popped on my feed. It was very interesting to hear your goals for 2023. You JWG tea cozy was very interesting. Yes, I have crafting goals for this year, too.
    1. Complete at least 12 WIPs. Currently I have 30 and by completing 12, it will drop how many I have significantly I've been concentrating on one a week to see how far I get.
    2. Continue journaling my knitting. I usually fill out the Ravelry Project page, but it's been nice to have a hard copy.
    3. Organize my yarn. I'm finding skeins all over the house. It's craziness.
    4. Make 12 pair of socks. This should be an easy goal since I have 8 pair on the needles right now.
    5. Explore other crafts you enjoy - cross stitch and embroidery in particular.

No real resolutions other than keep knitting😂. I enjoy podcasts but as you say some people seem to be prolific knitters of big garments and I often muse at how slow I must be despite spending a lot of knitting time. My other observation is cost. Despite it being my hobby I can’t seem to justify large amounts for wool, though as you say you can certainly feel the difference in a quality wool. I worry I’d spend a lot of money and what if the item doesn’t turn out too well. Still it doesn’t put me off - just some thoughts. It’s my knitting as they say and I’ll do what I want. I enjoy knitting the occasional toy too abd we are always learning, yes. Happy knitting 🧶
